Your Bee Gees' reactions brought me here. Love your admiration and tributes for the Bee Gees' greatness that has stood the test of time, the ups and downs, and everything they went through. They kept going and never gave up, that's why they will always be one of the best bands that has ever been. Bee Gees Forever!
@@Wolverines77 Hi, I absolutely agree that these groups are the best. It’s just my personal opinion & it’s really up to personal preference. It doesn’t mean that because it’s my pick that it’s the right one for everyone. I’ve always felt maybe because they are siblings & sang together for so long that their voices come together as one. Please, please watch the movie Saturday Night Fever!! One of the most iconic movies of all time!! It showcases disco at its finest and the Bee Gees do most of the soundtrack for the movie. This song in the movie is a scene on the lighted dance floor, with the mirror ball overhead and John Travolta and his fine dance skills...watch it now, you want be sorry!!!🎶🎶💜💜
Disco baby!! Just makes you want to move, don't it? Need to watch Saturday Night Fever, that's where this song comes from also More Than A Women, You Should Be Dancing . Great soundtrack. ✌❤🤘
Guys, as a fan of the Bee Gees, you should listen two special songs. “Emotions” performed by Samantha Sang and “Guilty” performed by Barbra Streisand. Both of them were written specially for the singers by the Bee Gees and they also did the backing vocals for them. Very cool!!!!
I was a teenager/young adult in the 70's and I loved dancing to disco and the Bee Gees. I don't know that I appreciated them as much until I started watching reaction videos. I took them for granted as they were just part of the fabric of my life. Now I understand the incredible talent they had. Thanks for the reaction. You guys are great to watch!
One of their best songs among many. From the 60's through the 70's listening to songs like I Started a Joke and Lonely Days to Fanny and Saturday Night Fever, their catalogue of great music will live on forever.
The canadian Queen nut loves you even more now. When I was 11 my parents and other parents embraced this album. I heard the music long before I saw the movie. It's quite adult LOL. They were in their 30's so they still held on to the dreams of the 50's (especially) and a little of the 60's (they didn't get the stones/who/beatles/kinks thing but they were partial to the more folky/ballad 60's style). In the 70's when "disco" slammed the world even older parents like mine embraced it. This song from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and the rest of the album is phenomenal. The movie is incredible and is also quite gritty and raw. A true testament to what life was like for certain people who lived that era. Cheers.
I grew up listening to these guys and the disco era. I am just a few years younger than the twins, it was so much fun going to my local disco with my flares on and high shoes, we danced the night away. You never sat down, only for exhaustion after dancing the night away. Thank you guys I am enjoying your comments and your channel. I have 30+ Bee Gees albums - love them and RIP to the twins Maurice and Robin and also Andy.
You should do "Nights on Broadway" or "You Should Be Dancing" next...🕺🏽💃 (Barry, the tall one, just released his latest album this past January, and it went straight to #1 in the UK!)
The Bee Gees are the gods of Harmonies and Disco Music like The Beatles they HUGE in the public and their music was playing every where!!!! And I Love the Bee Gees !!!! And this song and "Tragedy" are my Favorite songs by them.
That’s classic Bee Gees and yeah, I grew up w them. My mom listened to them and got me into them when I was 9 or 10. Unbelievably talented falsetto voices! It is a gift, as u both said……the gift that keeps on giving all these years later. 👏👏👏👏 Pay attention to the beat and the scratching. It’s a really satisfying beat. It’s so nice to see u young guys discovering this music. It truly is a gift…..more of your generation needs to hear all these great bands. There are literally a ton of them.
Bee Gees is so much more than just falsetto and disco! They were a band for 45 years and played disco only between 1975 and 1979. All your reactions have been from this period. I would like a reaction to Bee Gees from other periods. I can suggest Bee Gees- Morning of My Life (1972), Bee Gees- To Love Somebody (1967) or Bee Gees- You Win Again
This is fabulous!! I love this song and you cannot help moving to it, great exercise and it just makes you feel so good! The Bee Gees were amazing in their songwriting and performances - what talented brothers they were. Saturday Night Fever - so many great songs from that film. Gosh, this does take me back to the 70s ( not the 80s actually guys) - this song was played everywhere! Great reaction, guys, as usual. You can't get enough of the Bee Gees in my opinion!! Cheers.
Grew up in the 70's and 80's, Bee Gees EVERYWHERE! Posters covering every square inch of wall, LP's, magazines, stuffed animals, if it had a Gibb on it, we OWNED it. (Also, everyone had the SAME haircut, boys and girls alike sported the Bee Gees hair!)
I ❤️your comments. I was 12 when Bee Gees 'd created Saturday Night Fever LP. It was a fantastic adventure. Living in those years was fabulous, music was fantastic. As a teen age, I lived near the radio to listen all Bee Gees' s songs. They were everywhere. I was and I'm a huge fan forever👍👍👍💕💕💕💖💖
You are absolutely right! They were a gift, sorry to say not many people thought so in the beginning. It wasn't cool to listen to the Bee Gees and I'm ashamed to say that now. As teens in the 80's we didn't realize what masterpieces were coming from these 3 brothers. (Only speaking for my experience) We would be off banging our heads, smoking, drinking what we snuck from home and listening (my group) to 80's rock. ..mind you I was well into playing my electric guitar at this point (frowned upon for 14 yr old girls). Anyway....I can now admit my hidden love for these guys. I love your channel but I NEED more Bee Gees!!!! I was in my mid to late 20's when disco was popular. I've lived thru the beginnings of rock 'n' roll in the 50's. Psychedelia and soul music in the 60's, disco in the 70's and so much more. I'm now 71 yrs old and my favorite music is still psychedelia and disco...long may they live! The BeeGees were the kings of disco and Donna Summer was the queen. Mind blowing talent, when they were very young they were getting into trouble with the police, can you believe it. The parents decided to move to Australia to try to change things, they concentrated on their music and had quite a big hit in Australia, with big ambitions, they realised they had to be in London, so they moved back home, and the rest is history.

I even created an entire dance routine for the “Stayin’ Alive” song to perform with my classmates at our school’s annual talent show. We had a BLAST practicing for it!😆☺️ 🕺 💃

I feel the same guys, I love them too!! I agree with the people here, you should check out the work of their little brother Andy! Shadow Dancing and Don't Throw It All Away On Love are personal favorites of mine. These three performed a very touching performance of that last one to honor Andy after he passed away and it's very beautiful. You can see Andy interspersed in the footage for You Should Be Dancing by these three too! I think you'll love that one. Have a great day boys!

Really enjoying your channel! I’m 36 but I live for the Beatles and 60s and 70s music generally. I love the era’s musical creativity combined with their spiritual/political messages. Of course due to my age I also loved you checking out Linkin Park, Rage, System of a Down, etc. Peace and Love from San Francisco
Did you guys know that none of the Gibb brothers could read or write music? They sang ideas into a cassette recorder, then had a team of hired professional musicians that put it on paper.
You asked where the songs came from. These brothers honed their craft of singing and songwriting from 1955 on as kids. The family had little income. The father held several jobs in Manchester & the children entertained on the ship to Australia in exchange for the family's passage. I believe it was a lot of practice and working at it that made them so successful. They had the hunger they mention in their song "Staying Alive". They got luckyvin being discovered by a music producer, Robert Stigwood. But they had a dream of being famous musically & they worked for that dream! And they loved their work of songwriting and performing.❤❤❤
I ran right out and bought the 45 single when released in 1978. I also bought Saturday Night Fever 78 vinyl album soundtrack when the movie was released. in my 70's now and treasure my Bee Gees collection.
I have a story i was 10 and my dad in his 40s in 1977. He actually loved disco and the bee gees so we had a game where we would do "disco" disco dance on trips, mountains wherever we went. We kept track.
Oh yes Bros, I've danced to this and all the other Gibb brothers disco back in 1979 lol. 3 hours on the dance floor and you couldn't get me off there. Completely covered in sweat but those times were so precious
This was 1977. Saturday Night Fever...GREAT movie!! I am SOOOOOOO blessed to have grown up in the 1970s and 80s. We had the BEST time at clubs. NO ONE cared who you were....we just wanted to have fun. Only one brother left.

Let's go to the disco. Great thing. The seventies and eighties were the years of great music. Too bad there is no such music today.
Discos were so much fun. Everyone dancing in unison. Dressed up. Even if you didn't dance . Just watching was incredible and the light shows. Wow
And the clothes! They were so much fun! If I had a time machine I'd go back for a weekend just for the disco dancing and the clothes!
I loved going to the Disco.

You need to react to BeeGees songs Alone, One, You Win Again, Happy Wver After, Sacred Trust. All these are diamonds from their massive catalog. Thank you both for playing the BeeGees for us.
In the 80's, we didn't care how we looked when we were dancing..we were just having a great time!
Love You Inside Out is another great Bee Gees song.
Love this song
Yes they were a gift. This song was HUGE and the disco era was pretty fun.
You are so right, they were a gift to us all.
We danced a million miles to their songs, it was magic! Thanks for this.
Did you guys know that none of the Gibb brothers could read or write music? They sang ideas into a cassette recorder, then had a team of hired professional musicians that put it on paper.
You two and your appreciation of this awesome group, you make my heart smile!
Yes, it's impossible to not be happy listening this song. And it's impossible not to shake your money maker while listening to it.
I love seeing the young generation appreciate disco from my generation. I'm glad you enjoy one of my favorite bands.
I turned 21 in 82...magic times
Watch their last concert, One Night Only, free here on UA-cam. Awesomeness. Love them, and they are CLEAN too!
I think Fannie is one of The Bee Gees best songs.
Please check it out.
Quincy Jones said it was the most perfect RnB track he’d ever heard
My Favorite too, "Fanny (Be Tender with My Love)" Yes, the Bee Gees are "Pure Happiness"!

They are the Kings!!! of Dance Music! The Kings!!!;)
They never waste a single note
