Like your videos- very detailed. I just got the Super Racer a couple days ago and print at 150mm/s and the prints are 95-97% as good as my Creality printers at 50 mm/s.. If you haven't done so you need to change the fan ducts for the nozzle. There easy too print out and will eliminate the ringing, etc at high speed. You can find the link to them at the Aurora Tech youtube channel in her Super Racer review. Print out the ones that have the "L" for long, not the "S" that are standard.. Good luck Gerry
I love the look of your filament, but I can't make out the brand you're using. Would you care to share the brand for the gold and bronze used in the Rook and Vase @~ 44 minute mark? Thank you :)
Great video! I can't wait to put my super racer together, you explained everything so well. Thank you! I'm starting with this printer as my first 3D printer and this video just made me feel so good about my choice. 👍👍
Been using deltas for years and tried every format out there like the ultimaker gantry that's constrained at center on X and Y, COREXY with v wheels and linear rails, ender 3 style with v wheels and linear rails and none held a candle to my print quality on a well tuned delta with just V wheels. I have also tested Traxxas linkages with rubber bands to remove slop vs magnetic and the Traxxas with rubber bands for slop removal are better as they move more freely and don't rotate around a large ball that can offset the geometry. Only downsides to deltas is small build area and the software setup but the trade off is simple mechanics.
This was a massive help thanks. If you get hold of an flsun V400 and do a video on the assembly and set up, that would be great, I’m thinking of getting one . Thanks
Great video, it's very interesting to watch and the rythm is great, well done :) At the end, the printer can go to 330 but delta print aera is a cone so it's probably that you were outside the print aera
Can you please do a video on the Creality CR-30 Mill! It looks so cool! Would love to see an unbox and setup with some cool prints testing out the length, maybe a sword!
Just received the FLSUN Super Racer today. It's my 10th printer and now I am angry. Why couldn't I have discovered this printer sooner?!?! Not only am I printing 0.2 layer height at 100mm/s, but the prints are also super clean!!! Ugh. I feel like I wasted my money on the Ender 3 V2s that I have maxing out at 50/mms on the simplest prints. Or slower down to 32mm/s on more complex prints. I am now spoiled by the Super Racer.
I have to retract my comment. Getting print failures with prints taller than 175mm. Even with a brim, the prints keep getting knocked down at 80mm/s. Vibrations are amplified once it gets above 175mm. My FLSUN is placed on my cement garage floor. Trying to figure out a solution but haven't gotten anywhere yet.
@@ricardo-iw9sq Hi, ah yes I had to tighten the belts quite a bit. Much more than I'm comfortable with but my issues have been resolved. This printer took me a little bit longer to dial in my settings. But I can now print beautifully at 60-80mm/s. Faster than that is draft quality. Great printer. Just take your time with it.
I'd like to commend flsun for apparently moving away from the lerdge board/closed firmware of earlier models. RRF would be awesome, but marlin 2.0.8(?) is a reasonably recent version, hopefully w/ linear advance and such enabled.
The real max height for full print width will be roughly the distance between the baseplate and the end of travel for the arm minus the length of the arm.
Please help, at 31:10 you just push the filament through and it goes in without a problem, I push mine in and it stops like if it’s blocked and doesn’t come out the extruder.. can anyone help me out what’s the problem, bought it used
hello i got this printer based off your detailed review! i love it! i have a question though, one thing i noticed when i print is the nozzle scrapes on top of my print and i heard it when you put your microphone when it was printing benchy @ 40:44 of the video do you have any recommendations to smooth that out a little? i use cura and my settings are basically identical to yours thank you:)
Do you have to unhook the auto-level tools cables each time, or can oyu just remove the tool from the nozzle and kinda clip it around the other cables?
Can this printer print in PETG or other filaments? Would there be any benefit to adding acrylic side panels to keep heat in? Just ordered mine, can't wait!
With this type of printer if it was scaled up so the bed size would be equivalent to a prusa or ender would it just be physically to tall because if the speed is in between a Cartesian style and a core xy then surely its a contender or am I barking up the wrong tree.
Why mine does a lot of stringing? 😭😭😭 default profile on cura 4.x with official sr profile and also 5.0😭😭😭😭😭 I went to do calibration for retraction I arrived at 50mm but still a lot of stringing all around the towers 😭😭😭😭
Red and black cables connection is it important ? , i finished the process and i tried to print tst module but it didnt stick the table , 1min later when the printer touched it was down i dont know what i am going to do can you pls help me ? Its my first printer
I don't agree that the spring-loaded gantry arms are high build quality. All other FLSUN printers have the gantry arms security screwed to the mounting points. Spring tension will weaken over time and impact print consistency with this design. I don't understand why they would weaken those mounts with a printer design to print faster. Other than that it looks like a solid printer for the price. I have the same problem with loading filament into the extruder of my Q5. It is a design flaw that causes the problem. There is nothing you can do to make loading easier without modifying the feed tube on the extruder. There are some solutions on Thingiverse to help resolve it.
Justvlads, this was a good overview... i just got the ecubware toydiy1 and planning on getting this ASAP! I'll use your associate link. What material did you use for printing your benchy? I also saw the gold print of the vase, if you can let me know what material you used. Thanks.
Say, i understand your unboxing of every printers are right off the batt stock print the gcode. Just wondering if you do any tweaking behind the scenes to get "good prints" for the thumbnail? Because we don't want to get good reviews from internet and the consumers end up wasting their money from UA-camrs reviews
Can tell you the layers on this thing is nothing like on cartesian setups. With only a ptfe tube upgrade and a couple printed narrow cooling ducts I'm getting better quality prints at roughly half or a bit less the time compare to my Aquila X2. It has the same amount of rigging/ghosting at 100 printing speed to the X2's 60. Only 200hrs on it so far but saving 40-50% time is invaluable to me
Why can't the factory preinstall & preset the their 3D printers? It sounds more thick a CNC milling or lathe machines that takes a lot of time and incomplete instructions to assembly? Most of these 3D printers need a lot of assembly involved for all of the assembly of all the 3D printer kits. I would prefer to pay extra for the pre-assembled printer.
There's seems to be some yellow subtance on the new bed surface that scratches off if using a scraper or even a damp cloth with your nails! After 200hrs printing now the adhesion isn't as good as before so I've had to bump up bed temps to 65-70c. I'm tempted to get the pei flex plate, but will hold out until the warping gets noticeable on the edges.
Vlad, There are reports that all new resin printers, using ChiTu System control boards, will only work with the Chitubox slicer? Uncle Jessy was the first to report on it, but other 3D printer channels have commented on it. Have you heard anything on the topic?
Amazing review. But here’s what blew my mind out of the entire thing. I grew up with Pokémon. Like from when it first came out. Never in my life have I though about squirtle and his name. But damn if you didn’t make me think hard when you said it’s a cross between a squirrel and a turtle. Lmao 🤯🤯🤯

FLSun has come a long way. My first printer was their delta kit, and I still have it. Glad to see they're at this level now!
And they still don't autolevel correctly.
This is the most in-depth set up video I have found. Nice work! I have this printer arriving today. Looking forward to seeing it in action.
This is just hella fun to watch. The print quality is amazing.

Excellent review Vlad! Keep up the good work! Really enjoy your videos & reviews.

Great printer review, Vlad! I always enjoy watching these. I thought Delta printers were phased out..but looks like they haven't left just yet :)
i have a v400 on order. thanks for the detail in assembly. it lets me know what to expect generally.

What's that golden filament (when you printed the vase) it looks sooo good.
I've been wanting this printer since it came out i got the ss pro its bigger but more flimsy
Yeah it was flimsy. This one is sooo much better.

Anyone have any idea what the maximum mini SD card that can be used with this printer and max speed?

@@lazyman1011 The spring-loaded gantry or the Titan extruder? How many spools have you run through the printer?

Great video but a Bad Company, they sent me an old model with the SKR board . They tried to give me 1 roll of pla+ for their mistake.
Your explanation of squirtle made me lol
can you review the elegoo neptune 2 pls because im planning to order it as my first 3d printer
Nose si seria mejor ponerle un adaptador con rodamiento al soporte del carrete?
What brand is that gold filament? Anyone got a link?
Still haven't gotten an answer yet

My Benchy at 180 looks as good as yours at 60. Finished it in 40 minutes
My only problem so far is that the prints are a bear to get off the bed

One question, does the Flsun SR support a filament change when printing?
It has resume feature for filament run out
Hey can I get to know which plant U have grown

Loved the video.
Hi, which software do you use to edit videos?
Si ok. Però se aumenti la velocità devi lavorare anche sulle temperature

Nice, I'm going to get one.
I was looking at corexy.. but this printer looks sweet.
The shipping label will tell you how much it weighed
the only thing to upgrade this printer is with a duet 2 board
PLEASE RESPOND. why is SuperRacer touch screen not turning on!
How tall is it
Great video
Puede ser una buena máquina, pero asegurense que el distribuidor que se la vende en su país, se la entregué armada y configurada. Sino pasarán apuros.
Really nice video
I think i changed my mind of what printer i want...
Cool buddy
It needs some red racing stripes.
-10 for not knowing what Squirtle is. Hahaha
80mm/s for a delta printer is way too slow. I do that on my Ender 3 with direct drive mod.

🔥💕👌👍
This printer is so high you can put it on the floor and you won't step on it
@Just Vlad i left a comment on your Prius Actuator video and really need a reply thank you so much
