For the piloting skill to level up fast just keep doing the simulation in the UC vangard building on New Alantis and you can get infinite ships to destroy
There is literally no downside to getting the "Hero Worshipped" perk. You get a companion who is not only a reference to another game, but they also love you ❤
I thought I would hate the adoring fan and wanted to kill him so I picked it to kill me.... I refuse to let any harm come to his head now. He is my biggest fan and I love him for it.
I think that in the end-game pistols are the strongest weapon overall. The pistol perk is stronger than other perks (20% more damage), and it has by far the most useful level 4 upgrade, which essentially amounts to an additional 25% damage for 5 seconds after getting a kill. Add this to the 50% extra crit damage you get later on and that amounts to 37.5% additional damage. For example one of the weapons you get from the pirate quest is the Keelhauler, which is fully automatic. It deals 110-170 * 6 damage in around a second. Even the tankiest characters in the game die almost instantly to that much damage.
TBH i think you are correct, if we also add in the legendary effect head-hunter +25% damage after a headshot, then put suppressor on the pistol and add sneak multipliers and criticals then we are going to be one hit killing most enemies. We can also save scum to get the other legendary damage buffing effects, making the wepaon even more effective. When i said shotguns, i'm more referring to people who want to run through the game easily deleting everything with big damage. You don't even need to worry about the legendary effects the weapon has or even modding it. You just get a flat percentage increase to your big damage number and that is enough to kill anything in Starfield easily.
That's cool and all until you get 900+ damage shotguns that the targeting skill let's you 1 shot everything from the hip at max range. Get an instigating roll on it makes it literally 1 shot everything in the game.
I really wish some of the traits had more of a world impact. Like Kid Stuff, how cool wouldn't it be that if the money you keep sending your parents, will eventually change some parts in their apartment? Maybe a new Tv, some new clothes, hair implant for dad and such. Would also be cool if you could reject some rewards and instead ask a favor in aiding your parents, like, how cool wouldn't it be if you could reject a reward from someone in high power, and and ask them to move and upgrade your Parent's standing? Give them an absolutely High Class Luxury home, balcony with a pool, a Maid and/or a Butler and what not. I know it's just for Flavor, but it would be a nice touch. Could even go the complete opposite, if you decide to no longer support them, they're forced to move out and end up in poverty and have to move down into The Well, or force your dad out of retirement to get back to work just to survive. Or a combination of Kid Stuff and Dream Home! Have your folks move into this fancy house with you, it would be like a Vacation they always wanted, but permanent. It's the small details that matter.
The freestar trait is my favorite of them all!! You should do it, or the other ones for role-playing purposes alone! It has everyone else acknowledge that you are a member of that faction or from that area. It’s really cool! Like my dialogue is even country western sounding!
One skill I cannot stress enough is PAYLOADS in the Tech category. Since the icon is a rocket/missile I always assumed it was just missile stuff. But it ACTUALLY INCREASES CARGO HOLD SPACE for your ship! And iirc it's +50% at max rank or something so you can really get TONS of space (heh, get it?) for your hoarding needs. And let's be real, you will be leveling the tech tree anyway for the jump pack and pilot skills anyway so you will always have access to this pretty early.
For Those Wanting to Min-Maxing Character Power. The Best Traits are Alien DNA, Terra Firma, and Introvert/Extrovert. Base Oxygen amount is 100. You can only increase your oxygen level by 30% via rank 3 of the fitness skill. So a maximum of 130 oxygen. Alien DNA, and Terra Firma Both give you +50 Oxygen each which is insane. Youll start the game with 200 oxygen on planets. Plus the introvert/extrovert trait so you drain your huge oxygen level even slower. I never ever have oxygen issues and for exploring long distances it helps immensely.
@@monarch1410 Both are equal it just depends if you plan on playing with a companion or not. I play with introvert and take advantage of skill that increases your damage and resistances when traveling alone.
In regards to Dream Home, You also get a free house on New Atlantis for doing one of the Vanguard questlines to completion, specifically the Terrormorph one, which you can do at anypoint after you go through the Old Neighborhood quest(Good gear and weapons are recommended however)
I like to pick traits for role-playing purposes. Example: my Space Scoundrel is from the FC and pissed off the wrong group (wanted). In contrast, my Combat medic just left the Service after completing his first UC tour of duty which was planet-based (terra firma). He took the mining job so he could move out of his parent's house.
I chose to be evil for my first playthrough and took both "Hero Worshiped" and "Wanted" I thought it would be funny and interesting if the adoring fan was pining over an infamous criminal/terrorist. For my 3rd trait I chose taskmaster because the bonus for seems very strong for just an upfront increase in recruitment cost and I want to do allot of ship combat/have a large pirate crew. I think that is a good balance between so called "traits that add content" vs "traits that improve the power of your character."
I was gonna pick that too, but then realized that it's not a consistent trait. There's only a "chance" that your crew will repair your ship part back to 50 percent. And if you're going to do lots of ship combat, you need your stuff at max health, so you're gonna end up fixing manually anyways. It's a completely pointless trait that just makes you spend more credits. Good luck.
The absolute number one tip for Starfield is never be concerned about adding a point to a skill! The lvl cap is over 12k. Seriously you can lvl to well above twelve thousand! Don't won't to spoil anything but you also can play the game through over and over with the same character and keep your level and abilities. It's called new game plus or ng+. So put that point in that skill you want. It's not hurting anything! You lose your money, ships, inventory and it just resets the game for your character over and over as many times as you want.
Wanted is one of those traits that I wish I could have picked up later instead of starting with it. They're good XP and the ships can be good money, but when you're just starting out they can spawn several times your level (I had an encounter in space with Lv30 bounty hunters at just level 6) which isn't very fun when they show up while you're in the middle of a mission.
The fact you can drop traits, but have no way to acquire new traits or even swap them out on NG+ is a major oversight. Keep the limit of 1 background and 3 traits - but allow someone to sub in a different trait if they drop one. Like maybe you got tired of the Annoying Fan so sent him to a special farm on Cthonia. And now you're wanted for crimes against humanity.
At least for me, stealth is a pretty good perk. Since being able to do stealth damage, and extra damage with suppressed weapons like the one I use, I find it easier to kind of get people from a distance when going to a camp or something and continuing further. Love the video man 👍🏼
stealth can be good for opening shots with an OP weapon like a breach shotgun fully modified with slugs, ballastics/shotgun proficieincy and armor piercing :D It is not what stealth is really meant for, but any damage buff haha.
I leveled both stealth and concealment. To get concealment I maxed gymnastics and then put a couple in fitness and others. Works very well. The only weapons perks I have taken so far (level 60) is ballistics, a little in explosives (grenades suck but the Bridger is a killer) and one or two in pistol. I have no problem killing what I come across. Stealth, ballistics and a Hard Target are a great combination. Jacking up scanning is also very useful. Pays to see what you want to kill before they see you.
I made my guy look like Gordon Ramsay, then chose Chef. Used a knife for the entire first play through. I definitely had dialogue choices and fun random dialogue about cooking and being a chef.
For sure, I've also played through with other traits, but now I have seen the 2 dialog options for serpents embrace (so far) i'm ready to pick the traits that actually impact my gameplay more on a content level.
@@ESOdanny During the SysDef/Fleet storyline I got a bounty hunter dialogue option when I least expected it. Part of the fun is finding out where and how these things can impact stuff. Even the skills you have can give you dialogue options. I've had pilot, security, ship design and negotiation come up in conversations on multiple occasions.
Dream Home - You get an additional permanent location. This is enough to get the trait. Kid Stuff - Besides the gifts shown in video, your parents do have an intermittent part to play in the game. Adoring Fan - Unironically has the best dialogue of any companion. Your character is already going to be OP, wealthy, and run into a million enemies, rendering all other traits worthless.
Think I've glitched the parents haven been able to see them since before I got the first power. The dad wrote a note saying go see him, and I can't find him anywhere. The apartment is locked.
Spent like 30 Minutes August 31 deciding between Dream House and Wanted. In the end I went with the House and was useful when I couldn't sneak Contraband. I simply paid 500 to access the home and built a storage to store my contraband items until I can sell them off.
Yeah, the dream home has been pretty underwhelming to me. It's really remote and kind of a pain to get to, and it doesn't come with any furnishing. Don't think there's anyone to talk to to pay money to auto furnish it. Also, another thing that kind of annoys me about the inside of every building is the blinds are always closed so you can't see outside any window, but that's a problem with every building and not specific to the dream home. Still though, the perk is more interesting to me than most of the others since it adds a unique location. I paid off the mortgage already, and I'll probably come back to it later when I'm in the mood to craft and place furniture around. I do really like the interior. Went with Kid Stuff, Dream Home, and Wanted, and even after getting around 20 hours into the game I don't think I regret going with those traits.
I went Hero Worshipped and stacked damage with Wanted + Spaced. I keep my hp at 30-40% at all times and so far, it's really good. Still have to test if the damage redux from Spaced is boosting the Wanted dmg boost.
I didn't know what look I was going for when I made my guy but when I made him bald I realised he looked alot like Billy Darley off the movie Death Sentence lol, so i gave him face hair like Billy's as well and he's a dead ringer 😆
Same here. I made the mistake of choosing introvery as one of my skills with empath, and I guess because I always traveled with companions it was a skill point. Companions are a must in very hard mode because how bulletspongy enemies are.
I am wondering if Bethesda will add in new character traits, romances/companions, perks, etc for Starfield when their dlc, Shattered Space releases as well as any future dlc they might release
From hrs of trait and error. My 2nd character start is going to File not found with these added 1. Tera firma because if the skill tree stays the same. You can cancel out the negative effect and only have the buff. 2. Wanted because i got this one. And every once in a while you can get the bounty hunters alfits which are pretty badass. 3. Which you can pick pretty much any of these Extrovert - If you travel with a robot it doesnt count as a human so no negative effects. Empath - Most of my play through I say the right things and most of the time probably 95% your followers will be happy with you unless you roll with the crimson fleet i wouldnt oick this one. Taskmaster - i mean money isnt really hard to get in this game. And you can always get the help for cheaper if you save before you go into dialog. Also use 20% persuasion. So this is goid whdn you get into them close battles and your focused on destroying the enemy and forget to repair your haul. All 3 of these is good. But for a permanent build i would roll with these "IF" you are like me and like ballistic weapons.
Love the vault suit. Gonna start my 3rd character tonight and its very important for exactly the reason you mentioned, neither of my first 2 was what I wanted to use until the end game but was quite fun for some time and I learned a lot from both.
All you need to do to level up Piloting skill is have points saved to invest and begin the UC Vanguard questline. Redo the piloting simulator as many times as needed. Only took me 2 times through to finish up my piloting 3.
Absolutely shocked you didn't mention who voices the parents in Kids Stuff - it's Tim Russ (aka, Tuvok from Star Trek Voyager) and Nana Visitor (aka, Kira from Star Trek Deep Space Nine). Also, while I'm not certain if the Livingstone pistol is a direct reference, but Livingston was the name of Picard's Australian lion fish in the TNG ready room, named for one of the show's long-running producers, David Livingston.
The best 3 skills to pick while customising ur character at the start (at lest for me) is the bounty hunter: boost pack training, piloting and targeting this helps capture ships and the sell them to make credits fast👍
I'm a huge Colt pistols fan and the classic m1911 is also amazing so I'm definitely going to have the kid's stuff trait for every playthrough and am definitely making the pistol my main despite making myself vulnerable by not using the best weapon which is how I play games anyways I think it's going to make combat way more fun and challenging which is always a plus I mean doom is great but roaming the galaxy on my terms while also having a huge disadvantage sounds way more fun than Doom because it's just as difficult yet way more freedom is involved and my free spirit and stubborn mind can't help but devour this kind of content
The dream home is actually really helpful (if you dont want to deal with contraband, you just stop off there first, deposit them in case you chanve your mind later, then pop back to a main city. No need to invest in skill tree or for your ship)
If you want to sell the contraband just go to the wolf system then head to the den and sell it. They don't scan your ship their so you can easily sell it before you go to another city/system.
@@ESOdanny It might be a glitch, but it doesn't seem that they scan unregerstered faction ships for the territories faction (UC freighters like the econohaul and responder in UC space)
Yea, I went there and sold some contraband, had to run back because I forgot to get digipiks and was ambushed by 5 Crimson ships who annihilated me within seconds three times before I decided to reload a previous save... @@ESOdanny
Best traits are Alien dna Extrovert Serpents embrace If you plan on playing on harder difficulties abd Serpents embrace gives you some unique dialogue tbh i think alot of the traits are mid and wanted is very meh
Vanguard flight training. That’s all you need to level up piloting. It’s part of your initial test. You’re done in five minutes. You don’t even have to do Vanguard after that. Just go up there and you can shoot down five ships in a couple of minutes. Leave the simulator come back do it again. You don’t even have to do the hard levels just do the first five and then quit and then redo it. It takes no time at all.
@@Tinyshellproduction no because each level of piloting, you have to basically shoot down a certain number of enemy ships. I think it’s 15 then 30 then 50. With the Vanguard flight training does is it gives you an easy way to activate each level of piloting. If you have to fly around and look for enemy ships to shoot down, it can take time, or you can spend 20 minutes and shoot down 30 and you’re done with level three. It’s just an easy way to level up the perk. It took me about 20 minutes to do my 30 kills tonight. Tomorrow I’m going ship shopping lol.
Empath is an amazing trait. What we want to do to keep the buff running is pick the rescue hostage mission from the ranger mission terminal. Once we get to the hostage we want to pick the option to free them. This will ALWAYS give affinity to ALL the followers in constellation. Rinse and repeat when the buff runs out.
While ballistic weapons might be strong contenders in combat, I have a pretty good argument for energy weapons early on: the Cutter. The mining cutter is a surprisingly good weapon for a while and never runs out of ammo with the only real problem being it's lack of range, but it benefits from _several_ perks (energy weapons, heavy weapons, tool-grip weapons, etc) and the increased damage will even help you save time on mining. It might get out-classed later on, but you'll always have viable energy weapons including a few that benefit from all the same perks as the Cutter.
Best starting perks at the start-up to level 10. I suggest going with File Not Found this give 3 of the best perks you will want Wellness: More Health, Ballistics: More Damage with Conventional Firearms, and Piloting allowing you to use Boost in your Ship. The Traits I suggest are Wanted and Taskmaster. This leaves you a free choice. Hero Worship, Dream Home, Kid Stuff, Empath, or Terra Firma. If you are playing a good guy/gal, I go Empath as the bonus from it will be up basically all the time. If you are a Pirate, I suggest Dream Home so you have a location to store Contraband early. Now leveling up. 2. Boost Pack Training 3. Commerce 4. Stealth/Security 5. Stealth/Security 6. Weight Lifting 7. Persuasion 8. Medicine 9. Astrodynamics 10. Fitness Now, from Levels 11-20 11. Long Hauler most dialogue options. I agree that having parents and adoring fan is very funny, not at all annoying. This is if you want a rich experience. I’m starting over as a xenobiologist because I like the whole UC history on xenowarfare and scientist build…maybe explorer
You so nailed it on Ballistics. I was honestly shocked how many weapons that skill covers. It is important to know though that lasers affects particle beam weapons (I assume Ballistics also does for the same reason Lasers does) and with the earlier laser weapons being plentiful it's not a terrible choice, since there is a high chance most players end up maining the Big Bang or one of the Va'ruun weapons. That said the various magnetic weapons are amazing if a bit difficult to maintain ammo stocks for so skipping Lasers and ignore particle beam guns can be done if youi manage your ammo...
I do want to just add a slight disagreement- while the income boost from the freestar/uc native traits are nothing special the additional flavor is still worth taking them at least once and the early income boost is not useless. They aren;t fantastic of course but I don't think they're really a foolish pick. If I had a complaint I'd say they just need to scale rewards better...
Playi g as a combat medic has come up wandering planets a few times. Inured npc's have shown up 3 times in my 18 hrs of gameplay, and when talking with medical personell in cities, there has been extra dialog options.
😂 every skill u said was the best I already had invested into. Boostpack, scanner (i regret that 1 lame pos thought it did more), Piloting, Ballistics, Commerce, Sneak, Weightlifting, pickpocket cause easy money & ammo, security, starship design im positive im forgetting something but Weightlifting is essential for everyone 1st level up may need to be that on a new character. 1st playthrough dont even worry about settlement building cause thats just not fun & awkward with some things. Like u cant have your landing pad attached to the habitat you may use to sleep in. So u gotta run down 397 stairs to get to your outpost which could also be elevated 😂 thats another 350 steps. Im on this beach front property & furious af about that.
You actually can't fully recreate your character's appearance at Enhance. It turns out the sliders are heavily dependant upon your chosen preset. People are starting to find that out that hard way by looking at sliders online from other players.
I think the lose 2% of your max money every week is glitched or has a set limit. I am walking around with 400,000 credits (Plutonium farming ftw) and they still only take 500 every week. I thought i would be losing Thousands of credits every week, but no, it's just 500...Starting to see a Pattern with Bethesda and currency, like the Contracts you are given to kill a Giant or 5 and only be given 100 gold...
I got in with early access, so didn't know what was best, only went with what sounded cool from the preview. I have Hero worshipped, Dream Home and Kid's Stuff. I haven't bought the house yet, or even visited it, so I'm not paying for it at the moment, I'm hoping I can set up an outpost next to it, but haven't looked into that yet.
I actually found that if you talk to representatives of the religious factions (or at least I’m extrapolating) that you can get rid of some traits. I only know that it works for a fact though for the Introvert trait. When I talked to the Enlightenment NPC in the well, you can go through a dialogue that has you saying “you want to be able to be around people more” and whatnot, and at the end you can choose to have the trait removed. No clue if that means you can get certain traits added via other npcs as well, but really cool nonetheless. So traits actually are changeable after picking them. I just don’t know which one’s and to what extent
it really makes no difference since those options do nothing and are such trivial, rare little lines. They're literally just included so they can technically say "your background makes a difference to your character" when in reality it doesn't at all.
Have you figured it out? Ive been searching and heard Neon Street Rat has alot but im assuming only in neon? If you have figured it out id greatly appreciate if you let me know! Hope your havin a great time in game i know i am
My main save file is a Neon Street Rat because it sounded cyberpunky. I thought their extra dialog would be more akin to 2077's Street Kid or something but most of it is just variations "yeah Neon sucks and I hated it here". That's... not what I wanted :/
Lmao you literally listed all 3 traits I picked, I truly believe they add the most flavor to the game over the other buff traits when I was first picking them. Already had a few interesting interactions with the bounty hunters and I find the comments from my fan kinda funny. As for the perk choices I agree with each one tho I will say as a stealth player the stealth perk doesnt get good until the 3rd lvl of it but the damage boost is worth the investment for me at least.
Yeah man, I commented on reddit literally the same - Kid Stuff, Bounty Hunters, Adoring Fan are ultimate for content maximization. Dream House looks like good one, but nah - you can buy other houses and you won't spend much time there anyway. Like man what's the point of wasting a trait slot for house when you have spaceship, your parent's place, and you can simply buy several different houses in a better places
My number 1 trait I use that is buffwise and unique dialogue is serpents embrace most people think it's useless but the amount of time you'll be grav jumping and fast traveling between systems it's always up also you can get a pretty decent varuun set during the main quest if you use the serpents embrace dialog as well as sometimes talk to varuun zealots
So kids stuff is great the first time through, but is it worth having for new game plus and doing a second time? I personally like the Dream home. Basically have infinite storage from the beginning. Just land, run inside, drop stuff on ground, and leave. Much easier than traveling to lodge to your room or dropinng everything in space ship. Theres pros and cons of every trait when it comes to new game plus, except maybe faction ones.
I've been given the option to remove my neon street rat perk at Madam Savauge's place in Neon but I didn't do it. She said she could give me a clean slate and start over.
Ballistics and sniper rifles. So you have range and power. If your far shotgun loses its power. Shotgun is not good for outside areas but a pro for inside areas. Pilot skill for starting is a must, because battling whdn you first start can be hard on normal until you learn the ropes.
You also remove many of the selected traits. I know you can remove serpents embrace, alien dna, kid stuff, hero worship, wanted and more. Most likely all are able to be removed during game play but those are the ones I know for certain can be because I have seen it myself while playing
I made the character I wanted for my personal lore of my character. Terrible set up but best for for lore. Gangster background, Traits: neon street rat, wanted, hero worshipped. My guy has a criminal background and means to build a galactic crime syndicate. The first two traits fit that, and hero worshipped has no cons. With wanted I figured by boosting the amount of encounters I boost the gear and ships I come across. Gangster comes with shotgun, pick pocket and bare handed. Sure there are more strategic builds but I like my guy and playing to support my lore. I plan on putting in 200 hours and know I’ll have all the skills max.
started playing again.. can't wait for the official mod kit. (tempted to try some existing mods, but i know they will break and more likely to cause issues) just wanted to say Wanted is by far the best trait, BY FAR.. bounty hunters AND bounty defenders show up, the defenders will actually help you, so really you could just shoot each bounty hunter once or twice and get all the rewards.. PLUS you can attack the bounty defenders after as well if you want to, but you need to be quick. Serpent's Embrace is great, it is a hp and oxygen buff 99% of the time, the only time it wears off is if you sleep somewhere for more then 4 hours (UT) really, then once you go to a different system it's back.. and i believe there is no downside to it, despite what the description says. Alien DNA is great early on, 25 extra health and oxygen at level 1 is very helpful, and a bit extra every level... and the only real downside is the healing item works slightly less.. first rank of medic and the penalty is cancelled. IF the dream home had an unlimited storage like the lodge does then it would be worth it at least early on.. otherwise, housing seems useless, i actually forgot all about getting houses.
I wished (File Not Found) let you choose your own starting skills.
Unless it’s only 1 or 2 Skills it would be busted.
For the piloting skill to level up fast just keep doing the simulation in the UC vangard building on New Alantis and you can get infinite ships to destroy
Wait....what......?
man thanks so much, i didnt know how i was gonna get the 30 ship kills within a reasonable time
Oh wow, I've gotta check this. It's been really slow finding ships to destroy.
You can really just go and use it whenever?
As far as I'm aware, yes. If not, start the Vanguard quest and you'll get to it pretty quickly.@@10tailedbijuu
There is literally no downside to getting the "Hero Worshipped" perk. You get a companion who is not only a reference to another game, but they also love you ❤
They annoying asf tho
The Adoring Fan from _Oblivion_ got really annoying after a while...
He even has weightlifting to carry your stuff.
No just no!
Very underrated comment
I've nearly only ran pistols, and it's pretty beefy with damage.
I've just picked up a legendary shotty the flat looking one pretty much destroys everything I haven't even got round to modding it yet 😂
Thank you, being able to freely explore is more important than niche dialogue and a couple uniques.

Whats better though, introvert or extrovert?
@@monarch1410 Depends on if you plan to have a companion with you or not.
Good luck.
@@captaincaptain2128 its a chance to repair it fully when its damaged below 50% actually. Or at least that's what it says.
It sounds to me you probably wandered into a level 30 system at level six.
At least for me, stealth is a pretty good perk. Since being able to do stealth damage, and extra damage with suppressed weapons like the one I use, I find it easier to kind of get people from a distance when going to a camp or something and continuing further. Love the video man 👍🏼
Stealth Archer FTW lol
@@xionix4😂
stealth can be good for opening shots with an OP weapon like a breach shotgun fully modified with slugs, ballastics/shotgun proficieincy and armor piercing :D
It is not what stealth is really meant for, but any damage buff haha.
I am a Bounty Hunter with Xenobiology, Hero Worshipped and Kid Stuff. I'm having a blast with the roleplaying aspects of the game.
@@MandalorianRevanis that the, “I’ll enslave and torture your entire crew” option
As an introvert, I considered going that route… however, never leaving the house doesn’t make a very exciting space odyssey 😂
Choosing introvert + the isolation perk combo as a Ronin is my go-to plan of stealth.

Went with Kid Stuff, Dream Home, and Wanted, and even after getting around 20 hours into the game I don't think I regret going with those traits.
nice im thinking of these exact 3 as well
Went exactly the same things.
When I first walked inside dream home, I was pretty bummed to see it wasn't furnished
No, actually my home has a window with a view! It's a crate in Neon and I wish it has shutters to give me a bit of privacy :D
You have to freaking build the furniture. Just like building an outpost. God you guys are dense.
I'm sold on the dream house unless 9:30 @ESO wants to do a Video on all houses in SF then I may change my mind 😂
When I was deciding which traits to get, my thoughts were the same as yours. I picked the same traits.
In terms of Traits. Empath is my favorite right now. It is easy to always have the buff up and adds a lot of unique dialogue options.
My 2nd character start is going to File not found with these added
1. Tera firma because if the skill tree stays the same. You can cancel out the negative effect and only have the buff.
2. Wanted because i got this one. And every once in a while you can get the bounty hunters alfits which are pretty badass.
3. Which you can pick pretty much any of these
Extrovert - If you travel with a robot it doesnt count as a human so no negative effects.
ESO ive been subbed to since skyrim never knew what u looked like lol love your guides and looking forward to watching everything u make for starfield
No way, that's cool! Thanks for the wisdom nuggets :)
This is good to know! I'm going for a Star-Trek inspired diplomat/explorer build so Kid Stuff is definitely going to be one of my traits!
Livingston, the founder of Constellation..
But you wasted a trait by picking hero worshipped and telling him you’re a murderer so that he’d never follow you again.
The dream home is actually really helpful (if you dont want to deal with contraband, you just stop off there first, deposit them in case you chanve your mind later, then pop back to a main city. No need to invest in skill tree or for your ship)
Given there is no level cap in this game, or at least none people have gotten to thus far.
@@ESOdanny

Alien dna
Extrovert
Serpents embrace
If you plan on playing on harder difficulties abd Serpents embrace gives you some unique dialogue tbh i think alot of the traits are mid and wanted is very meh
Wanted is cool
Thus far I have only gotten bounty hunters coming after me 2 or 3 times, but only in outer space.
Just gone and ordered myself an Xbox, can't wait to play, this is just the video I needed
So does that render the bounty hunter background kind of useless, because the starting skill is piloting
Kid's Stuff is honestly one of the coolest ideas I've ever seen in a game ❤ I'll be more than happy to pay 2% each week
Something I just discovered recently... holding right click overpowers the cutter (3 instead of 2 dmg and faster mining)
i thought the look on your parents is based on your own look, but it seems we got the same weird looking dad... anyway...nice video! ❤
He gets around..
Long Hauler most dialogue options. I agree that having parents and adoring fan is very funny, not at all annoying.
This is if you want a rich experience. I’m starting over as a xenobiologist because I like the whole UC history on xenowarfare and scientist build…maybe explorer
Do your parents argue with you if you join the crimson fleet, or do they show up at the Key and like every pirate mocks you for having a loving family

Boostpack, scanner (i regret that 1 lame pos thought it did more), Piloting, Ballistics, Commerce,
Sneak, Weightlifting, pickpocket cause easy money & ammo, security, starship design im positive im forgetting something but Weightlifting is essential for everyone 1st level up may need to be that on a new character.
1st playthrough dont even worry about settlement building cause thats just not fun & awkward with some things. Like u cant have your landing pad attached to the habitat you may use to sleep in.
I've read In other posts, you may remove them through in-game encounters, but cannot add new traits.
Most traits can be removed by someone. Empath can be dropped by a doctor, UC citizenship too
Thanks dude, guess I messed my first playthrough up
So which Background gives you the most dialogue options? I read that it was Soldier that gave you most options, followed by Empath.
it really makes no difference since those options do nothing and are such trivial, rare little lines. They're literally just included so they can technically say "your background makes a difference to your character" when in reality it doesn't at all.
Don't know. The faction options, UC native, free star etc, add a bit and kids stuff too.
Have you figured it out? Ive been searching and heard Neon Street Rat has alot but im assuming only in neon? If you have figured it out id greatly appreciate if you let me know! Hope your havin a great time in game i know i am

Gastronomy and Nutrition as a pair sound pretty intriguing to me...
Carry weight differs from planet to planet so the less gravity the less stamina youll lose when youre carrying too much.
Bro. Cracking video. Defo taking the 3 fun traits. Cheers
My number 1 trait I use that is buffwise and unique dialogue is serpents embrace most people think it's useless but the amount of time you'll be grav jumping and fast traveling between systems it's always up also you can get a pretty decent varuun set during the main quest if you use the serpents embrace dialog as well as sometimes talk to varuun zealots
that custom PC was amazing!!!
People are missing one thing that carries over in new game plus, your crafting unlocks.
You also keep anything that you have researched at the research workstation.
That’s good
I've been given the option to remove my neon street rat perk at Madam Savauge's place in Neon but I didn't do it. She said she could give me a clean slate and start over.
If you level up the astrophysics skill you have a 10% chance of acquiring a trait when scanning a planets moons so can get them all anyway
I went for completely evil build, wanted, street rat and serpent
Great video. Your hair is spectacular, my friend
(tempted to try some existing mods, but i know they will break and more likely to cause issues)
just wanted to say Wanted is by far the best trait, BY FAR.. bounty hunters AND bounty defenders show up, the defenders will actually help you, so really you could just shoot each bounty hunter once or twice and get all the rewards..
If you get dream home, will the home be available in new game + ?
Still can’t get over this game! 10/10 even with bugs lol
