    If I i were to anmeld in Potsdam, could i still apply for jobs in Berlin and just commute? You you are supposed to register where you live, not where you work, right?

    • @FirangiFiles
      @FirangiFiles  10 місяців тому

      From govt rules, there is no problem in staying anywhere with anmeldung and working anywhere (all within Germany)
      However, the restriction applicable will be only from Employer side. Some allow, some dont
      In my previous job, WFH was fully allowed. I stayed 400 Kms away from my Office for almost 7 months without any problem

    This is a great advise, I wish I had known earlier at the time of JSV Appointment. I planned for Frankfurt but have changed directions to land in Mannheim. So Sidharatha, once I get anmelded in Mannheim, what happens? Will FRA's ABH send the JSV Application Docs to Mannheim's ABH right after Anmeldung is done and then lets say after 1 month I apply for JSV to EUBC Conversion, Mannheim ABH should be able to process it as they have "my file" now - Is my understanding Correct on this topic ?
    Or the file changes hands once i apply for EUBC Conversion in Mannheim where I am anmelded and then they discover that oh the file is in FRA ABH actually and they get it couriered then. It's bit confusing :(

      @FirangiFiles  Рік тому +1

      Hi
      Second Version is correct
      Your Pack of documents will be pulled by Manheim when you initiate your EU BC process.
      Hence, it may take some additional time also, but its still better than 10K+ unanswererd Emails !

      @@FirangiFiles Hi Siddharth, i will be applying for EUBC now instead of JSV. Many thanks for your guidance in the Journey.
      I wanted to ask a question, since the time you have been there were you required to get any of your personal documents Translated to German i.e. Birth Cert, Mrrg Cert.
      I am thinking to get International Certified Translations for Mrrg & Birth Certs. Whats your suggestion will they be useful or its not needed ?
      Many a times I observed ppl had to atleast get Marriage Cert translation done for Dependents Visa. Any other documents - whats your experience so far?
      In India its quick & also fair priced to arrange these translation ahead of time when needed.

      For me, all Englisch docs worked
      However I also heard many candidates had tough time with their English docs
      It may be a good decision to play safe and translate them beforehand at fair prices

      Hi, please check this video thotoughly
      ua-cam.com/video/SxULRgaXlqE/v-deo.html
      When you apply for jobs, most likely you will receive some confirmation reply, like invitation for web based interview, rejection email etc. All these are sufficient to proove your efforts for job search beforehand.
      so better make a folder in Google drive, and save screenshots/.PDF prints of these proofs

    Hi Sid!! Thanks for your videos really helpful . Ive reached Frankfurt on a JSV on 1st March . Got my anmeldung done on 3rd March , However I am unable to book an appointment online with Auslanderbehorde and dropped them an email .Ive given couple of interviews after landing and expecting a job contract soon. Can you suggest any places near Frankfurt where I can get an appointment quickly ? Also if I get an employment contract from a different city like Dusseldorf , do I have to visit Auslanderbehorde of that city? My rental contract for now is of Frankfurt. Any insights would be really helpful

      Hi, any place in outskirts or nearby small cities like Mainz, Ingelheim etc should be better option. Auslanderbehorde of such small cities often respond very promptly.
      For Visa conversion, You need to go the the Auslanderbehorde where you are currently registered (City Anmedlung)
      Tip: Once you initiate Visa conversion process, I suggest DONT change your Anmeldung status (i.e. registered address), else it will cause extra delay in processing visa.

      @@jacobfernandes5330 technically it’s possible, but I have never seen such a case.
      I don’t know how Ausländer Behorde will react.
      Also, salary must be equal or more than minimum required for work permit ( approx 44k ), however please double check this point

      It was 100% remote, so I was physically staying some 300 Kilometers away in a village called Bad Elster.
      When I switched jaob, My new job was in Berlin.
      I could complete all Job Change Formalities with nearby Auslanderbehorde, all in less than 7 days !
