Native Texan here, I live 20 miles from Bragg Rd and have been there and never seen anything unusual but it’s a nice drive….but my primary comment would be how in the heck do y’all make a video about haunted Texas without mentioning Galveston where I have seen some very supernatural stuff? If for some strange reason y’all didn’t come across any mentions of Galveston being haunted while making this video, you could make an entire video just on Galveston. 5,000 people died there in one night.
They made a video 10 months ago.(:
Thanks for checking out this video @georgehutto2157. We actually have an older video that is completely dedicated to Galveston and will be revamping it to fit our new style in the future. Are there any specific places you think we should focus on?
This 1000%
👀 you got my attention about Galveston now i have to look into it.
Theirs many hotspots in Texas including the border i am sure the border patrol have some good stories.
You've never seen the light? My mom brought us there as kids and we always saw the light. 🤷♂️
The small towns in Texas are low key creepy. A lot of time has passed... The buildings still are standing, and people live in them and rent them out... Appreciate the video man. Sharing it with some friends. ❤
Thank you so much for tuning in an sharing @CHEESUSKREIST! Have you been to any of the haunted places in this video?
@@FrightNightScares I used to live in Granger Tx, there they have the house/mansion from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie... The house used to reside in Round Rock, Tx... When they bought the land... to build the mall called La Frontera in Round Rock... The mansion was cut into several pieces and transplanted to Granger Tx... A creepy ass mansion, used to drive past it every day. Appreciate the video!!!
The USS Lexington offers overnight paranormal tours. You can stay overnight in the ship.
My brother did that for ROTC a few years back. He said he saw and heard some very harrowing things. He claimed to have seen Charlie, the blue eyed solider at the end of his bed. Another friend of his said he heard jet engines.
When my son was in the cub scouts we all went and stayed the night. We slept at the bottom of the ship and it was very dark and I got the creeps, but none of us witnessed anything during the stay.
Thanks for sharing that @jbcoker. That sounds really cool! Have you gotten a chance to visit the USS Lexington?
@@FrightNightScares it’s been a few years but yes I have. I’m retired Navy so I spent the better part of 20 years on aircraft carriers.
I've visited several times but have not done the ghost tour! I NEED to do it!
So I lived in corpus a while. As far as the Lexington, I did go in on a self guided tour and was quite annoyed by a man who stopped me to talk to me about the ship, how it worked, how they lived, what they wore. Turns out I was annoyed by that spirit of the sailor. Because after a while, he just seemed to disappear and no one else knew who I was talking about when I asked about him
Thanks for sharing that story @IcyMoon1228. We've heard a few similar spooky stories about the sailor on board. Have you had the chance to visit any of the other haunted spots on this list?
Shout-out from Texas!!!! I love my Haunted State!!! #Texas #CFH
Thank you so much for checking out this video @Lord_Taron_of_ice_N_Fire. Have you ever been to any of these haunted places?
Even the ghosts love to sing DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
Always ready for history mixed with paranormal. Thank you.
Thank YOU @brianlawson5044.
I live in San Antonio, Texas, and I have to say that you spoke the Spanish words very well. 🤠🐴👏🏽
Thanks so much @moonprincessst.s.h.4ever115! Have you been to any of the haunted places in this video?
I met Charlie on my first tour of the Lexington. Had no idea until years later that he wasn’t supposed to be there. I’d love to see him again someday.
Thanks for checking out this video@seehu52. That's incredibly creepy and cool! Have you been to any of the other haunted places in this video?
We celebrated my mom's 80th birthday at The Driskill Hotel. It's gorgeous! Had no idea it was considered to be one of Texas' most haunted, but I can see why. Sure would have loved to do some exploring.
Thanks for checking out this video @armychic15. We definitely agree! Have you been to any these other Texas haunts?
Little girl fell down stairs at the Driscoll
Thanks for that info and for tuning in @WickedWestParanormal. Have you gotten a chance to visit the site yourself?
I figured Galveston would have been on this list. You could do one video on Galveston alone....
He has, it’s under the speakeasy UA-cam
Thanks for checking out the channel @WesleyP75loveshoustonsports. We'll definitely keep Galveston in mind for future videos. Is there anything more specific about the place you think we should cover?
There’s so many!! Moody mansion, bishop palace, Ashton villa, Stewart mansion, orphanage, galvez, tremont house, van alstyn house, cemetery, hospital with the face on it and more! I grew up there and can’t count the number of times I’ve experienced something supernatural
@@FrightNightScaresHurricane went thru there in 1900 I think it was. So many ppl did not survive there was real issues with the bodies turning up over and over. Thats why Galveston was rebuilt like 10 miles away and the only thing left of the old Galveston is a wooden sign . .
It’s still the most deadly natural disaster in American History.
Just standing where Galveston used to be gives you a hopeless stranded feeling looking out to sea.
@@denisekoltys3019where exactly is the old original Galveston
Pretty cool. But you left out the Faust Hotel in New Braunfels.
That is an awesome hotel I love that hotel.
Thanks for the suggestion @trentk268. We'll definitely keep it in mind for future videos. Can you tell us a little bit about Faust Hotel?
5th generation Texan here, good video but you left out the Hotel Galvez in Galveston. The Lovelorn Lady is known throughout most of the Republic. Also, Sarah Jane road in Port Neches is pretty famous.
Thanks so much for checking out this video @joshuabrown2923. We know there are a ton of spooky spots throughout the state and will check out your suggestions for future videos! Can you share any stories about these locations?
@FrightNightScares The Lovelorn Lady (Galvez) is about an engaged couple who lived at the hotel, room 501, and when her fiancé went out to sea, his ship was overdue to return. So she waited and found out that his ship was caught in a storm and she hanged herself in the hotel. The following day, his ship returned and he found out about Audra taking her life and he took his own as well in the hotel. To this day, the fifth floor of the hotel and especially room 501 have loads of weird “paranormal” things happening. It’s said that people see balls of light floating around, here weird noises and sudden changes in temperature. Of course, this isn’t the only spirit in Galvez, it’s just the most famous one.
Sarah Jane was a war wife in the Civil War with a newborn baby. Her husband was fighting for Texas and the bastard Union soldiers raided Port Neches. She ran and hid in the trees which has a road running through them. As the Union came closer to her location, she hid her baby under a small bridge on the road and she took her life. People have reported hearing a baby crying at night and seeing strange lights in the forest from the road.
I’m from Bmt. Never heard of Sarah Jane Road
Hotel galvez is definitely haunted. We stayed there years ago in the middle of summer with no reservation and they gave us a room in the corner by the construction area. They kept checking on us saying there’s water leak in the bath tub and my ex husband had his leg touched from under the bed. The room was very creepy too. I didn’t even know they were haunted back then. I wasn’t into paranormal.
I've lived in Texas my whole life. The locations in this video only scratch the surface of the hauntings this state has. Pretty much every place in Texas has its own ghost stories and legends. I don't know a single place that isn't haunted here
That's kind of the conclusion we came to when researching TX! We definitely have more Lone Star State videos lined up... Any special requests on locations you'd like to see us cover?
@FrightNightScares Definitely go over The Black Swan inn. Also, we have a lot of battlefields here, not to mention the imprint of slavery. For creatures, look up the donkey lady. Hopefully, you found my suggestions useful, and I can't wait to see more videos from you.
I love my state. Brag road is cool and the rail road worker is the story I heard.
Thanks for checking out the channel @yellowrose4717. Have you been to Bragg Road yourself? Or any of these other haunted places?

The Austin hotel reminds me of The Overlook Hotel in The Shining.
Thanks for tuning in to the channel @user-pv6hk9pd5y. It definitely gives off Overlook vibes. Have you gotten a chance to visit or experienced anything spooky in Texas?
It's called The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. I used to live there but I'm in TX now.
I live close to Saratoga and Braggs road is famous but I have never seen anything on the road or anyone I know and I’ve been all hours of the night.
Thanks for tuning in @jason-bu4cy. Have you been to any of these other spots in Texas?
I stayed 2 nights on the us Lexington when I was a Boy Scout, I’m like 99% sure I seen Charley and assumed him as a staff member before looking back and he was gone
Thanks for tuning in @Urstepdad426. We've heard quite a few similar stories about Charley! Have you heard of any other folks with similar experiences on the Lexington?
@@FrightNightScares unfortunately I haven’t talked to anyone els that has boarded the ship. A group of friends/scouts where with me at the time we encountered Charley, we all went looking for him
@@FrightNightScares Charley appeared as a ww2 looking janitor possibly and was so real looking we just played him off as someone characterizing period correct soldiers. We looked back and Charley was gone
I've seen him too it was years ago but it was him
i was in the Boys Scouts in the 90's and we were able to sleep on the USS Lexington for a few days and nights alongside a few hundred other Scouts. We all slept in sleeping bags in the hangar. We had free range of the ship except for a few rooms of course. But man was that cool
That seems like such an awesome experience @fallingunknown8663! Do you remember anything particularly spooky happening when you were there?
Born in Houston, living in Beaumont. Thanks for the vacation agenda!!!
Thanks for tuning in @ozwalker. You'll have to let us know if you experience anything supernatural if you make it to any of these haunts!

Local Texan here, How did you not mention Bakers Hotel in Mineral Wells? Look into that, Bonnie and Clyde even stayed there.
Thanks for checking out this video @MilSpecJ. We understand that there are SO many haunted places in the state and will definitely look into Baker's Hotel for future videos. Can you share a little bit more about the location?
@@FrightNightScaresthe Baker is being renovated and is set to open again as a hotel in the next year or two. Very famous hotel that was closed for many, many years but it was popular during the 1920's.

Love these
Thanks so much for checking out the channel @solon.h.g4002. Have you gotten a chance to visit any of these spooky spots in Texas?
East Side Texas City, Texas. 1947 Explosion. It is in the hood. I saw crazy stuff at night hanging out at my cousins project home. The project home was haunted. Saw a lot of shadow people.
The Worth Hotel was supposedly a haunted hotel in downtown Fort Worth. My roommates old house had a mantle piece over his fireplace from there, and his dogs would growl at the fireplace despite it being cemented closed. I spent the night after going to a Rangers game years back, and I heard weird things over their baby monitors, and again, his dogs were growling at the monitors. They sold the house a few months later.
One thing that really scares me is the stories my older siblings told me about how they used to see shadows and voice back where they lived in sugar land texas
I visited the lexington ship a few years back, can confirm it is haunted. Me and someone else got lost on the bottom deck, it was extremely creepy. We could hear footsteps and taps despite no one being on the same floor as us. There was a constant feeling of being watched and occasional cold spots. Its a really cool museum, i recommend visiting if you're in the area.
Thanks so much for checking out this video @vinylzkin. We've heard a lot of stories similar to yours and think its so fascinating! Have you had a chance to visit any of these other haunted sites in Texas?
Super fun channel!
Thanks so much for tuning in to the channel @Brewster907. Do you have any personal spooky stories or experiences you can share with us, or is there anything you'd like to see us focus on for future releases?
I actually visited the Alamo when I was little since we went down to visit my mom's side of the family, and my mom likes to bring up how when we were outside the Alamo, there was a squirrel that came down from a branch of the tree right towards me. It apparently got so eerily close and ended up drawing more attention- a bunch of other people noticed and decided to come over to see if the squirrel would come to them, but then it just ended up scurrying back up. Not sure if it could have any relation to the hauntings, but odd behaviors from animals typically are a sign of it.
Another thing my mom talks about is the haunted railroad tracks. Apparently there was a school bus that had gotten stalled on these tracks full of children and the bus driver. The train was already headed right for them, I don't remember if they got any of the kids off, but the bus did get hit and many of them lost their lives. The street names around there ended up taking up the names of the lost children in honor of their deaths. It's said if you put your car on neutral on the tracks, the ghosts of the children end up pushing your car over the tracks, and if you put powder on the back of your car before trying this- you can end up seeing their finger prints. I don't know how true this is, my dad once tried to debunk it by saying the angle of the tracks would just have your car move over it anyways, but I personally don't think it would be easy for a car to just roll over some tracks unless the tracks were somehow horizontal on a hill-
Moe sargi went there and it was true. He experienced it and there were indeed children's hand prints after he put baby powder on the back of his car. That or i'm thinking of somewhere else that he went to.
I stayed overnight aboard the Lexington with my boyscout troop as a kid, and though nothing truly unexplainable happened, I still highly recommend it
I used to travel Brag Road as a kid with my family, usually on Halloween. I have never seen one apparition. I have seen the light but my Dad was able to prove it was cars from the streets on either end of the road. It feels like it goes on forever because it is a long dusty dirt road.
Thanks for checking out this video @terriehumphries6028. Have you gotten a chance to visit any of these other Texas haunts?
I haven't seen any of the other haunted places unless you count the Alamo. Many people say that place is haunted but I never seen Ghosts or heard anything scary.
WTH? NO GALVESTON? I'M SINCERELY CURIOUS TO KNOW IF THERE'S A VIABLE REASON OR A RESEARCH FAIL?
I'M SHOOK!
Thanks for checking out this video @CATSCRATCH52. We know there are SO many haunted places in the state and Galveston itself. Keep your eyes peeled for a video focused on just that in the future.
My grandparents use to take me to Bragg road when I was 4ish, so 25 years ago, my grandpa was surprised I remembered when I asked him about ghost road
To elaborate, from what I remember my grandmother brought a flashlight and would manually strobe it down the road as we were parked, I remember eventually we say a red light shine far in the distance. It would be amusing to go again but I’m not ignorant towards that kind of stuff now and have had too many paranormal experiences than I’d like.
Thanks for checking out this video @1shogunate696. Do you remember experiencing anything spooky when you visited Bragg Road?
@@FrightNightScares just remember seeing a red maybe orange light down the road after my grandmother pointed her flashlight. I was 4 so the memory isn’t all there but I do remember that much
I heard a few ghost stories from former coworkers. We worked across from the Alamo. Stories were told about people watching them as they prepared for work, reflecting on mirrors then disappearing in plain sight.
Most people love to talk about The Alamo and nearby buildings being haunted. That is halfway true. What most tourists overlook, are the roads.
There were a lot of people buried throughout San Antonio, and not all of them had a burial marker nearby. I'm halfway certain that a majority of road work was done over quite a few burial grounds.
Thanks for checking out the channel and sharing that info @creatvicedoof. Have you visited any of these other locations or have any spooky stories about the haunted roads to share?
@@FrightNightScares The comment above yours could be a good indicator.

Just started this video. If I don’t see Apple Springs, Tx in this one, y’all need to check it out. There was a wilderness camp out there called Hope Center that I lived at for about a year. I’ve personally seen and heard some strange things there. Y’all should check it out. There was a whole abandoned camp there cuz the staff and the kids refused to stay there. The staff and kids literally grabbed what they could and refused to go back to that camp. The whole damn place is FULL of strange happenings

I live not to far from Bragg and many years ago when me and my ex wife were dating we went down that road from one end to the other....it took an hour and it felt like we were passing the same trees over and over. Even felt like the same dips in the road again and again. We never went again.

Stayed the night on the Lexington years ago when we were in school. Woke up at 4am to use the restroom. Woke up a friend of mine who was in the next bunk over to go with me since the restroom was down a long corridor. When I walked into the restroom there was a sailor dressed in full uniform shaving in one of the sinks. Figuring he was an employee dressed up for an event. After I used the restroom I asked my friend of he saw the guy and he said no and he didn’t know what I was talking about. Only one way in and one way out. Won’t ever forget that.

Honorable mention the haunted train tracks i cant remember where its located in texas but the story i heard involved a bus that had broke down with a bunch of kids and was hit by a train.
