I live out in the sticks of Randolph county near the town of seagrove in North Carolina, I have lived in my home about 14 years now. I live very close to a graveyard from the late 1700s to the early 1800s and there are graves there of settlers killed by the Indiana in 1799 , twice since I have lived here, myself and my family have seen and heard the battle between the settlers and Indians, we have heard the rifle shots and seen the Indians shooting arrows and heard their war cries. Our friends refuse to visit us at night now because of it and they tell me that I should move away from there but this is my home and I'm not moving anywhere, as long as they fight each other and leave me alone and my family alone they can fight for eternity. When we are outside at night doing whatever and the sounds start up we just go back inside and watch TV or something and let them do what they want to do and ignore them. It is kinda spooky though and I don't want to run into any of them face to face
The pottery capitol 👍
That's awesome! I would definitely come to your house to witness this. Haunted stuff amazes me. I'd run out into the field to see what's going on 😮
Hey jon i live in greensboro i love to hear that that be awesome. Spirits of the past can not hurt us. Im saved so i truly believe Yahusha protects His sheep
I live here in Randolph Co also is Archdale now. When my family moved here from Chicago we moved to Trinity and the house my parents bought I know the land and well as the house was haunted. Everyone would be in bed asleep except for me and my cat. Now mind you either warm weather or cold windows closed shut and locked air on or the furnace didn't matter I would hear voices sounds etc. I told my parents my mom believed me well dad not so much. My brother's feet would kill him all the time, mom would get deadly sick one minute the next she would be fine, dad would just fall straight down in yard for no reason and me panic attacks even at work, went and had a lot of tests ran nothing wrong. We finally sold and moved to Archdale no problem since. I could tell you about the experience's about I have had in Chicago
You all will be moving soon...
I grew up a few miles from Bentonville battleground and I can confirm that whole area is haunted. One night when I was 18, me and a few friends went out there late at night to scare a few girls that were with us. Sitting in one of the old trenches we must have been there for about 2 hours when a heavy fog rolled in. We decided to go but as we turned towards the tree line to go back to the truck we saw a light. We thought it was the Sheriff's Office since they don't like people trespassing, but the closer the light got we the more we knew it wasn't. It was an old oil lamp being carried by a Confederate Soldier. Needless to say we didn't stick around much longer. And the fog disappeared faster than it appeared. That was across the road from the Harper House which is supposed to be really haunted as it was used as a field hospital.
Thanks for checking out this video @joecuddington3205. That's a super cool and creepy story! Can you tell us a bit more about the Harper House!?!
I grew up in Bentonville also, and still live here. Small world. Yes, this area is haunted.
I would of loved to see that, Civil War fascinates me
Cap 🧢
Grew up in Wilmington and went to college in Raleigh. I'm surprised you didn't do any of our state's capitol's famous haunts such as Crybaby Lane, The Governor's Mansion, Main Hall on the campus of Peace College...(oops I mean William Peace University lol) , the abandoned mall and all the tunnels under Cameron Village, and so much more. And the plethora of spooky lore in Wilmington would take up an entire series of videos!! I actually majored in history (GO PACK!)because I love NC' history and all her stories, folklore and uniquities! So long story short I speak for us all when I say MAKE PT 2!!
Fun fact: I DJ for a living, and my very very first "gig" was my 8th grade end of year formal in 1999 that took place at the Bellamy Mansion lol.
NC resident here. The Road to Nowhere, Helen’s Bridge, and the Brown Mountain lights.
Grew up in Asheville and have braved Helen's bridge
i work at a community college, they recently sold one of the buildings back to the state, i used to work 3rd shift at that building and it was haunted AF, you'd see and hear things all the time there, it was quite fascinating though, kinda sucks that its sold so i no longer work there, a couple of the other buildings seem to have some activity too, but not nearly as much as that building did
Wilmington resident, here. 👋🏾 Another haunted place is the Battleship North Carolina. Maybe that could be a future topic.
Thanks so much for tuning in @Slushpup2. We always appreciate recommendations from our listeners. Can you tell us a bit more about the Battleship North Carolina?
@@FrightNightScares Well, it's one of the most decorated battleships, during WW2. She entered the war very soon after the Pearl Harbor attack. She was torpedoed in 1942 or 1943. In 1960, a campaign was started to save her from the scrap yard. She was saved and moved to Wilmington and made into a museum. The show "Ghost Hunters" (TAPS) and other paranormal groups have investigated her over the years.

I been to the battleship I as well as my dad Ret. Navy man from Korean conflict now deceased) saw nothing
My mother lives in Wilmington, and I’ve been many times myself, the battleship being one of my favorite stops. I never knew it was haunted though, maybe I’ll see for myself when I go back
also cherry hospital in Wayne county
How can you do video on haunted places in NC and not do the devils tramping groud?
It's not as big of story as it was back in the day we need to change that
@@brothersicko497I came here to say the same thing
I never heard of this 🤔
I thought that was South Carolina?
Facts!!
I know of a lot of places in N.C, used to live next to Charlotte. Queens College, Latta plantation, Bellamy Mansion, Price-Gause House, Fort Fisher, South Port, the old Mill Prong, just to name a few.
Thanks for checking out this video @shanemenghi5623. Any cool stories to share about any of these NC spots?
I live near Latta and I agree it is beautiful but has a weird feel about it
I grew up in Elizabeth City, just 45 minutes south of Chesapeake, VA and 1 hour north of the Outer Banks. This whole area is haunted territory. From the Dismal Swamp to the Nell Cropsey incident, there's so much to discuss.
@tyred-of3ox Interesting! Do tell...
Howdy neighbor... I am about 40 minutes from Elizabeth City.🙋
New Bern NC here! If you’re ever in the area, there is a fantastic ghost tour of downtown. Absolutely worth it!
Thanks for checking out this video @sharontolbert1112. We always appreciate suggestions for future videos. Can you tell us a bit more about some of those downtown haunts?
@@FrightNightScares Throw in Southport as well!!
New Bern is quite haunted especially downtown. It is the first capital of NC and was the home of many founding fathers in the 1700's.
Lewiston North Carolina is haunted also
I live in a very old small town that had many native american battlegrounds scattered around. The amount of history and death results in a lot of paranormal activity. I work in an office in the middle of town and we hear footsteps all the time in the 2nd story even though nobody is up there. Knocking and voices happen often as well and when we check its empty. I love it lol
Another Great Video. plz keep them coming. I Love the History and the stories.

I took my son to visit Bentonville its a great place to visit. We went during the day and didn't see any ghosts but the guide did mention hearing some strange things.
Thanks for checking out this video @oldsouthmike65. Do you remember any of the spooky stories from your guide?
The Vanderbilt’s were definitely pet people, as there is a pet cemetery on the grounds - I distinctly remember the grave of a longtime favorite dog of theirs. On the gravestone it said “He was a good boy.” - For some reason that left a lasting impression on me.
I'm in NC I'm glad to have found this video ❤
I grew up in Montgomery County, but now live in Fayetteville. Ghost stories are definitely a big part of the southern culture 👻
Thanks for tuning in @brookeelzowry. Have you personally experienced anything particularly spooky growing up and living in the South?
@@FrightNightScares very much so! The town I grew up in has many ghostly tales, several of which I witnessed myself 👻
Montgomery co resident all my life and have seen some very unexplainable things also!

Had plans to go check out the devil's tramping grounds but was told it's now private property
Harper's crossroads..Bear creek..brush creek baptist..where JR Lane is

I'm from outside of Charlotte NC, born and raised and my father worked for the state park service when I was a child. It's nice to hear so many of these urban legends and historical incidents that I was raised hearing. Makes me gush ❤
Also, just because I saw everybody else posting, Gaston County, NC here. 😊
Thanks so much for checking out this video @rhyneliDo you remember any particular stories from you Dad or experienced anything yourself from growing up near these haunted spots?
@@FrightNightScares There used to be an old plantation house that sat in a hill in a small area between Dallas and Gastonia called Spencer Mountain. It was a notoriously "haunted" spot and it was a right if passage to try to stay overnight on the screened in porch. Few people ever made it all night without saying they saw ghosts or just got too freaked out to stay the whole time. Unfortunately folks started taking it way to seriously and breaking into/defacing the house. It was torn down in the early 2010's. My Pop and I also saw this horrific figure of an old woman pushing a baby stroller down the side of Crowders Mountain where he worked as a park ranger. We turned around like 1/8 of a mile down the road and she was gone. Freaked us both out so bad that we didn't go down that stretch of road for a LONG time. Thank you for asking. I could tell you a million small town tall takes about this place lol.
I love Charlotte and miss it so much. Grew up just outside of Charlotte in the other Carolina. Definitely plenty of stories about the area.
First one here!! Love you guys!
Thank you so much @katinabaragona3122. Have you visited any of these spooky spots before?
I grew up in an old plantation house built around 1865 near Garner, NC. I had a ghost visit me in my room for years and I didn't to well in school, because I got little sleep. The house is registered on Duke University sites of haunted places and many people that have lived in the area will tell stories about it. It is the real thing. It is not just a story. I have tried to talk with people who have lived there later, and they just freak out and told me to leave.
I've been watching u since ur channel was the speakeasy love ur vids guys I am subbed ❤❤❤

@FrightNightScares sadly, and fortunately, no. May want to do some ghost haunting in the future, but right now, I treasure sleeping at night lmao.
The Grey Man is actually a SC legend. It was featured on Unsolved Mysteries. The original with Robert Stack. He is seen off of Pawleys Island.
I just moved to New Bern from Kentucky. It has one of the oldest graveyards in the State. It's eerily beautiful and the downtown churches are incredible. I'm starting to explore my home State and have been to Hatteras and Bellamy Mansion. I want to see the Brown Mountain lights and so much more!
