Hi Alex, if you are a trucker. I would like to offer you a job. I work as a dispatcher in USA. I have loads from all over the states. Would you like to work with me
bro i love how the whole video is like a 1on1 conversation like completely chill and almost exactly how i would be describing a lot of the features lmao like perfect summary, keep up the great work fam and everybody STAY SAFE!!!!
hi Alex, nice to see you here again and that your up here and that you love working with Kenny, just wanna make sure your okay, cuz I know trucking can be hard, wanna make sure your doing good, anyways hope your doing well and love to see that you enjoy it rn! Never forgot to have fun!! Please stay safe!
I drive a Peterbilt 389 with a cat 3406E 550 hp with an 18 speed transmission. Platinum interior with all the gizmos and switches. Chrome and light packages on the outside along with lockers and toolboxes on the back. My truck cost $240,000.. this truck is nice but it’s nowhere near custom and definitely not $300,000. Kenworth made most if not all of the 2024’s 100th anniversary editions. I did drive for this company for a little while, and the trucks are nice for what they are, but definitely not special and last time I checked, they only have two Kenworth’s one was given to the driver of the year and the other was given to Alex to promote the company.
A Pete 389 with a cat 3406E and 18 speed (presume manual) transmission….now that’s a real truck!😅. I like all trucks but I have a soft spot for Peterbilt, especially the 389 (389X!!) and the 352 and the 362 (big cabover fan here). Congrats, man, you’re living the dream as far as I am concerned.
@@AntMath93 I haven’t watched the video yet but it’s a bit different with trucks than the typical locking diff because trucks come with a varying degree of lockers. I’m willing to bet without watching the video of course that his diff lock switch enables power to the rear drive axle. Typically trucks only deliver power to the front axle first and only one side normally. Flipping the switch usually sends power through the front axle to the next axle delivering power to one set of wheels on that next axle. I might be mixed up on which drive axle is the primary I can’t remember but the explanation stays the same. Then u can get what’s called full lockers on a truck which will usually consist of 3 switches in what I’ve previously seen and drove. One switch sends power to the front and rear axle. One switch locks the front axle solid and the 3rd switch locks the rear drive axle solid. U won’t often see this option in big truck fleets because full lockers can get ya in a big mess really fast if ya don’t know what ur doing and there’s quite a bit more added cost for full lockers as the rear drive axle requires a lot more moving parts. Back in 2021 I had to replace my diff and I thought man i can’t think of a better time to switch to a full locker setup. Then I started looking at pricing and realized it was no longer practical to go that route🫤
Just didn’t know if you knew that already about trucks or not. Ur comment is correct tho they just lock in a weird way that a lot of people don’t actually know
A differential unit permits drive to the wheels on an axle while allowing them to rotate at different rates as when you go round a corner. The outer wheel will have further to go so needs to rotate faster to keep up with the inner. A differential lock is useful on surfaces with poor adhesion such as ice, snow, mud, gravel, etc. On those surfaces it is likely that one wheel on the axle will lose adhesion and start to spin. Since the system is designed to provide power to both wheels it will give most of the power to the spinning wheel at the expense of the other. This means you have no drive any more. A differential lock will restrict or prevent that transfer of power such that both wheels on the axle rotate at the same speed. Thus maintaining drive. Its use should be limited to very low speeds since if it is permanently locked your tyres will be worn out by tomorrow night!!
The point of a differential is that it allows for the two driving wheels to turn at different speeds. This is integral because otherwise, every turn would have the outer wheel skidding. This isn't great if one wheel is stuck in mud and has resistance turning. The dif will essentially send less power to that wheel. So, locking them to spin together sends more power to the stuck wheel and hopefully unstucks it.
I'd likely prefer the mini fridge style for cold and frozen food storage. There shouldn't be any reason to need to remove it and put it back very often if at all. I used to work at a truck stop... There are, 'gel packs,' that can be purchased to put on the plate where the trailer connects to the truck. The 'gel' lubricates the plate and the underside of the trailer to lessen/prevent damage.
If trucking companies paid drivers a little more money, drivers don't need to have UA-cam channels. But then again, some people love all the fame and glory of being an internet celebrity. And/or, they just simply do it for the pure enjoyment
Alex, my friend, I enjoy your videos and you are driving a very nice truck. I think you are a relatively new driver meaning a couple of years. You are very fortunate to be working for such a good company and they have excellent equipment. you be proud of your truck as you should be best of luck, Alex Let the haters hate and let the super truckers correct you you be proud of your truck as you should be best of luck, Alex Iam retired after driving 45 years and I remember starting how hard it was to get hired with no experience and I especially remember every piece of a crap truck that I had to drive before I was able to get into a decent piece of equipment. 😎

I have a question for really anyone that knows or has driven a truck in real life. When you dump the airbags, does it affect the way the truck drives? Or does it only help connect the truck to a trailer?
I'm just saying... If they paid $300k for that truck, they overpaid by more than $100k. That is a $200k truck MAX. This truck doesn't even have an APU or Premium Sleeper.

I was told by an old truck driver to never slide your 5th wheel. because you will never get it back to where it was and it will throw off the weight and balance
I don't know about the truck but ill take the fridge and vest you need them to sponsor you off your video on the fridge i want to buy lol yhe truck too high. Congratulations for the fridge 👏⭐💯

Unfortunately this Guy gets away with everything because he’s just a promoter of the company. He’s full of himself!!!!!

Alex my guy what a differential lock does is simple. It locks your wheels in order to spin in synch so you would have better grip on the road.

Alexs' second job is a spokesman for BougeRV. He should consider info-merchals when he retires.
Or in Kenworth sales.
Probably my favorite video from you yet
