    Outstanding! That sure is some nice work. When I tackle the electrical system for my next adventure truck, I'll know who to consult!

      My dad? Haha! His electrical knowledge is a little better than mine. And thankfully there were a lot of helpful guides online to help with the van-specific aspects of the electrical system

    I was wondering about those wires on the Beams . Won’t it be cooked through convection of the metal beams that was directly connected to the roof which is exposed to the heat of the sun all day? Won’t it cause short circuit and possibly burn the van? I think if I build mine all the wires are on the outside of the wall with a tube PVC or any decorative wood that can cover the wire all the way around the van .

      Sure, running them in a PVC tube would be a better option. So far, after two years of full-time use on the road, I haven't had any electrical issues, or seen any degradation of the insulation on the wires. I believe the insulation on the wires is rated for 194F.

    Awesome build and very informative. Do you somehow build/convert others van? I live in apt and cant convert mine since i really dont know how and dont have tools

    That's a nice clean power installation. Are you just going to go with a 12 volt system at this time? no inverter?

    • @SeekingLost
      @SeekingLost  Рік тому +1

      Thanks Greg! I ended up buying a small 500w inverter, the portable kind, not hard wired. I have everything I need running off 12v, except my hair trimmers and clippers. And many times, I find myself somewhere with electrical outlets and don't even need to use my inverter for them anyways

      @@SeekingLost ya that makes sense, alway stick one in later if things change. Its hard sitting around watching everyone build out, Ive been saving for a promaster for three years and Im almost there.
