For anyone seeing this now, there is a few issues with the information in this video.
    - The way to interpret the second checkbox is most likely: Register the drone. If it is less than 250 grams, it is still likely equipped with a camera, and if it is a DJI drone or anything like that, it is not classified as a toy. Register your drone.
    - For the third box, you did not even read the short lines of text: For _professional use_ you need insurance, OR, if it is 4 kg or more in weight. Otherwise, you do not need the insurance.
    - As for the map: The yellow circles do not mean that you cannot fly there. It does however mean that it is an active air space. You can still get it approved, as you have to specify area of flight by drawing the coordinates, you have to specify take-off location and time. The HCAA when reviewing your application uses this information to check the NOTAM (Notice To Air Men) in order to see if there are conflicts, which may lead to a denial. I have never been denied a flight in a yellow air space.
    - With that said, the HCAA map is less specific than say the Drone Aware app, which colors based on level of restriction (highly recommended). On the HCAA map, you have to take into consideration what the name of the air space is. For example, a Heliport Perimeter is less restricted than an Aerodrome Traffic Zone, and an Aerodrome Traffic Zone is less restricted than Controller Firing Area, Danger Area or a Restricted area.
    - Not to nitpick on the MTOM field (but I am going to, and explain why): it does say "(kg)" so if your drone has a weight of 250 grams, you write "0.249" (i.e. meaning 0.249 kg - that is what they are asking for). Do not write "249 grams". Attention to detail like this, may also be factored in if you are unlucky with the person reviewing the application. As we all know, airspaces are serious business, and I would like to think that the governing body of that airspace, like to see that the person they approve for the airspace, is in fact a person with good attention to detail.
Regarding approval for time and date:
    - The process takes up to 24 hours. Do not wait for a possible rejection before resubmitting, because you will lose a day. They also only handle these on regular work days. I.e. if you submit on Friday, you are not very likely to be approved for a flight on the weekend.
    - If you plan to make several flights on times that span over a few hours or days and/or areas: *Submit a form for all of them.* _You have to take off at the time given,_ if not, you lose your approval (this is no joke and has been confirmed in another video on UA-cam, and I have personally asked the HCAA which have confirmed it).
    - Do not skip the takeoff location field.

You do not need insurance for drones weight less than 4kg in Greece.

Do you know - Is it possible to apply for a date span eg 05 April to 12 April? Being specific with timings days/weeks in advance seems problematic - too windy/rain on the day and then the approved flight window has gone and it takes 48 hours to get a new one?!?!!?

Hello, do you think it is possible to get authorization within the yellow limits? maybe some coastal areas ( away from airport and heliport). Or is it 100% denied? Thank you
