Going soon to Lesvos and I’m taking my Mini SE :) I have drone operator license for A1 and A3. Ofcourse I’ve had read many infos about flying in Greece but If you could confirm if I can fly below 50 meters without reporting the flights.
…I hope Greece will make the app for reporting the flights - current option via email is a bit long and complicated (sending the coordinates and the screenshot of the map etc) to fly 120 meters.

      Ciao!
      Thank you for your message!
But I do not know where you find this information: if you are flying in OPEN CATEGORIES you do not need any authorization.
You must only check the maps and fly where it is allowed

a couple of things here, first of all, you can register as an operator in ANY EU country you want, doesn't have to be the first country you visit, I did it through Ireland, second, for Greece I needed to apply for a flight Authorization for every Drone flight I may want to do, as stated in this video, and last, for us from the US, the Drone Fly more App does not allow for us to upload a Drone registration number.....so good luck with that...everything else in this video is spot on...

      Ciao
      Thank you for your message.
About the registration, in some parts of the rules it is wrote that you must register in the first Country, in other places you should ...
      🙄
About the apply, the Greek agency website says thet for open categories it is not necessary, but maybe they change it.
Anyway thank you so much for your message, it is a really precious help for me!

Hi, I fly with DJI mini 4 pro. Do I need authorisation for all of my flights on Greece? Easa website says that in open category its unnessecery but hcaa says that I do.. witch one is correc, EU or greek state?

      Ciao!
EASA rules are "generic" ɓut every Country adopted it in his own way.
If you fly in Greece you have to respect their rules.
This is the reason why I made a video for every European Country: there are a lot of differences
      🙄

@@mauDrone of course I follow the rules like everbody should. This is from hcaa faq: hcaa.gov.gr/en/faq/hreiazetai-na-labo-adeia-prin-petaxo-drone-moy-stin-anoikti-katigoria
      somewhat contradictory information from hcaa

Ciao.

      Buona serata

Ciao! I take a look at the map on the Greek website,
and I can see a lot of forbidden areas in the Haikidiki peninsula.
You have to check the maps ...
