Yes they have added that feature, you can use your smartphone to count the laps in SmartRace. Racetrack scenics makes a nice gantry to hold the phone over the track . Great product www.racetrackscenics.com

Have you had any problems with Bluetooth repeatedly disconnects and re-connection? I have been messing with my iPad today and now I cannot figure out how to get the Bluetooth to work properly. It works fine with an android tablet. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Jim
I can’t seem to figure out how to program a new car to a controller when SmartRace is running. The CU shows all 5 lights and the code button has no effect when pressed. What do you do when you have have to program another car to another hand throttle with SMARTRACE running? What am I missing? Thanks
If you adjust / set car power and brakes in carrera cu and then turn on smart race and the power/ brakes are different which will the car respond / listen too?
got the smart race app ..but its not letting me re-fuel , any suggestions ?. it shows the fuel consumption from 100% down to 0% but when i hit the pits it will not fill..? also dont seem to assign contollers correctly..or do can you assign the controllers via app? (just got the carrera digital set w/ extras this Christmas) Thx for any advice
Question. Is there a way to prevent drivers from just passing through pit lane and refueling without stopping? I can drive through pit lane and continue fueling while back on the main course....
You have to enter a distance that your track is. Mine is 80 feet long . I don’t use this function, I tried it but it wasn’t something I really enjoyed so I turned it off. The beauty of SmartRace is you have many options to make for the most real life racing conditions in digital racing and you can disable any function you don’t enjoy
Nice tutorial .. I have plans to have SR on my track too. So good to have someone talking it through.

It’s cheaper to get all the add ons in the champion package annually. At least a year ago when I subscribed to SmartRace

Hit the esc button, then hit code button it should work then.

Make sure the fuel switch is on on the control unit. Yes you assign cars to controllers through SmartRace.

Well nothing I found , but in order to keep fueling after you leave the pit you have to travel to slow to win a race
