Your on the page as i’am to fix the elevation drop. I have a cpl new straights so I can angle it down to the corner and eliminate the drop being so abrupt at speed. I served 3 years in Mannheim Germany in the 80’s . Visited back in 2011 , look forward to another visit in the future. Beautiful country . Thanks for your input and taking the time to watch.

@@tntmotorsportcomplex Ride on and right on 🙂 I`ve been to Manheim to see Guns and Roses in the eraly 90`s at the Maimarkt Fest- Gelaende. I guess you know that space, where the Maymarket happens. My old man used to serve in Bremerhaven, on Carl-Schurz-Kaserne. That harbour there, still supplies the US Forces with all kind of things. It was closed in 1992, or 93 if I remember right. I moved to Bremen in 1989. We also had the 2nd Armored Div., Heel on Wheels in the suburban area of Bremen in Garlstedt. AFN Radio and TV were sending from the CSK out to the US Foces. It was given up after the CSK was closed. The building lastet though longer. The whole complex is now used by German civilian companies and the old GYM, Building 109 is now used by the Bremerhaven Eisbaeren for practessing Basketball. The Rec-Center, all Barracks and the Motor-Pool were torn down. The small church on the area is now a museum of the old CSK. The housing areas off Post were turned into civilian appartments for the inhabitants of B`haven.I spent a lot of time on Post there and played/practised Football wirh the Bremerhaven Seahawks. We actually were the German Champions of the regular season and unbeaten in 1980, but our jeleous opponents, the Duesseldorf Panthers, couldn`t take it and challenged us for a final game at the Gruga Stadium in Essen. We were so stupid to agree and they cheated us the whole game. Afterwards our Captain, who was an MP, plus two others entered the Rangs, where the President of the German Football Assosiation held the Trophy. They took it and the official thought we were fair loosers. But instead we took it to our locker-room. On that way riots started and it was like war in that stadium. Lots of fightings and bootles flew from the Rngs. Than one squaerehead of the Panthers knocked on our locker-room door and askd for the trophy. Well, our smallest player, we nicknamed him Too Short grabbed the trophy, which was as high as he was and said: You want the trophy, here is your trophy and smashed it to the ground. It broke apart in hundrets of pieces and every American of our team jumped to the floor and grabbed a piece of it. For a souvenier. lol One of our players was taken to hospital, because some idiot smacked a bottle on his head. He was a Lieutenant in the CID. He returned from hospital a week later. In the end, the German Football Assosiation sent us each a silver-medal for being vize champion. It has a Football-player on one side and on the back it says: Deutscher Vize-Meister 1980. I still have it and I swear, we all were upset to the max, because we video-taped the game. You could see players of the Panthers jumping off the bench from the side-line to enter the field, to tackle our ball carrier and what not. Cheatin`Panthers who had won the title in an unfair way. The majority of our players were from the MP and they could not take that injustice. A weird story, but true and German history of the American Football, which was only a few years going on here. I'm blessed to have this much space to devote to a slot car track. The room is 20'x30'ft the R1turns come in handy for smaller spaces or your group is made up of more advanced drivers who like a technical section in the track. we are all fairly new to racing 1/24 & 1/32 scale cars so leaving R1 turns out leaves more time racing less time marshaling .

Been racing on wood tracks with the scratch built cars . I was ready for some digital racing. It’s at home so it’s easy to get there 😂

Yes they have added that feature, you can use your smartphone to count the laps in SmartRace. Racetrack scenics makes a nice gantry to hold the phone over the track . Great product www.racetrackscenics.com

I use quick slicks and super tires silicone. Now I’m moving towards Paul gage urethane and foam tires for some cars. I sometimes use lead weight just depends on the car. I typically run power at 15 volts for 1/32 cars and 19 volts for 1/24 Carrera cars , unless the car is equipped with a 12 volt motor such as a RMS motor I run in some cars

Yes the on track fuel display do work for the individual so they can always see there fuel levels

Welcome to digital racing, now you’ve had your track nine months how do you like it? I’ve had mine almost 3 yrs if there’s anything I could help you with just ask . I’ve learned quite a bit in the last 3 yrs .

Making videos not really my thing , but thanks for watching. Scratch building is proving to be as hard as learning video editing 😂

Did you ever pull the trigger on cart of parts you had?

Wow marty how did I miss this comment? Well the penalty’s are for coming off the track forcing you to pit for five seconds for each crash. In hopes of promoting driver improvement. At most analog racing clubs there are marshals to put cars back on track for drivers so the other drivers aren’t penalized because someone else crashes. How do you do it at cincy slot races and at your own home track?
