- Finally, the ultra-elusive, unreleased video known among Boingo collecters as Dead Man's Club. Created in the spring of 1986, this video was intended to be released to members of the Secret Society, the Oingo Boingo fanclub. It's a compilation of videos in between which Danny introduces them. Videos featured are Dead Man's Party and Grey Matter live at The Ritz, Gratitude, Weird Science, Stay, and Just Another Day. Obviously the videos were trimmed down to fit the ten minute mark.

It’s like he’s looking directly into my soul. It doesn’t so much creep me out because I’ve always dreamt of Danny Elfman looking directly at me. I just can’t stop laughing.

You know, I joined the secret society back in 1983. I really wish I could have gotten a chance to get this video. I can only guess it was scrapped due to the lawsuit at the time (at an early 1986 concert, the crowd picked up a woman and threw her around a bit, resulting in a broken arm. She sued the band, stating that the band incited the crowd to do that. I never found out the result of that lawsuit though.)

I heard that Tim Burton wanted Jenna Ortega not to blink as Wednesday Addams. I can’t help but wonder if he got that idea from Danny. So much energy, not just in his body or words but those unblinking eyes.
Dam stay was my fave too. The thing i love most about Danny, is his ability to look rather girly, sing girly, but still rock. Like in stay. Effeminate, androgynous. It's just what he's saying, and it's a flawless song. Too much to count. Funny songs like Same Man I Was Before, Only Lad, awesome.
To be honest, I did think that some of his videos and songs had -- what I can best describe as -- occult characteristics about them actually (I don't know if the Elfmans are actually believers in the occult, or simply like being outrageous or provocative) but I gotta admit, it does blow my mind that he called his fanclub a secret society.
