Solid tires are pretty hardy but they still are required to be changed every 3000km or so or 3 years of usage. Here's how to get your solid tire changed.
The steps shown here applies to the ZERO 8 and ZERO 8X. Oh! it applies to VSETT 8 solid rear tire too!

Your man sure made this look easy... I weigh 160 lbs and had to stand on the rim with two large screwdrivers. Thanks for this follow up video, I'm a big fan of the zero 8. 2200 miles and going!
2200 miles and only one tire change? That’s pretty good!
@@FalconpevSg Pretty nice roads and paths here in Houston. Looks nice out your way as well; take care!
@@TonyGonzales wow, that’s amazing. I’m at 450 miles and the back tire is getting so worn down whenever I turn it just skids and slides. But everything else is still good
does nanrobot lightning have the same procedure?
How do I change the bearings? What size and type of bearings are those?
Hi love all of your videos fantastic can you replace your Solid for a tubeless tire.
Same for VSETT 9?
How to buy solid tire for vsett8?
just bought a zero 8 rear replacement tire hoping it's a match for my fluidfreeride horizon which is a zero 8 clone as fluidfreeride is out of stock. 1300 miles is pretty good for one tire considering that thing is constantly being heated by the hot running motor and cooled down
I have the Vsett 8+ and it's also a clone of the Zero 8X. Honestly I think they are all cheap because I didn't know that they were cloned and sold by multiple different names and also mine has so many problems and stuff. Parts keep breaking by themselves and right now mine has duck tape holding everything together
That's why i paid people to change my rear tire lol :D took 'em 40 minutes to do that.
yessss leave it to the professionals.
I took the screws out but at 0:8 when you hit it with the mallet, mine does not come apart. I tried hitting it sooooo hard
I hope this works for the emove touring. I was worried how I was gonna remove the old tire
It’s easy
the solid tires for the zero 8x would it work for a kaabo mantis 8? i looked at the Tubeless Pneumatic Tires for zero 8x and its the same tire as the mantis 8. even says kaabo on them
No it wouldn’t work for Kaboo
Hi , I want to ask you please how many kilometers, ned to change rear tire solid change for the scooter vssett 8
I don't know, I have the Vsett 8+ and I had it for about 1.5 years and I changed the acceleration speed in the settings from 3 to 5 so now sometimes when I take off, the tires spin out for a second and mine has absolutely no tread left on the front and the back tire but I still ride mine and I ride it like every day so I would say someone with the Vsett 8 who has not changed the acceleration in the settings would probably have to change the back tire once every 2.5 to 3 years and the front tire has to be changed once every 10 years or probably never. Look at the tires and if there is any tread visible on them, then you do not have to change them. if there is no tread, then you might want to change them but you still probably don't have to
I'm stuck with a kaabo mantis 8 with tubeless tires and I wonder if I should do the same...
Hello, I wonder if I can do this to my Nanrobot X4 2.0 rear tire, it is hard to take out, apparently I need to open it as you did with the model you have. Please let me know
we dont know that model sorry
Hey any luck with your X4 2.0? I am about to order the tyre and go for it.
@@potvinsuks8730 I changed the rear tire, they asked me to buy the entire motor and that was really off, since the motor still working fine. You need to buy the hard tires from the Segway Ninebot scooter series, they buy separately,it fits perfect for the Nanrobot 2.0. Hope this helps
@@jdorville Hey thanks for replying! Yeah! I think it's absolutely insane for them to tell us that buying a whole brand new motor n tyre is our only option. I even wrote them an e-mail and they not only told me that I had to buy the new motor, they also told me that it was out of stock lol.
So, are you telling me that the Segway G-30 Series 9" Tyres are what's recommended? Wow, just wow!
Thank you so much for helping me!
Edit: After thinking, I think you must have meant the tyres from the smaller Segway models as the G Series uses either a 10" and a 9" tyre. Like from a e25, e45, es2 etc.
@@potvinsuks8730 I used the Es1/2 model series tires, they are the perfect fit
Can you do please do the zero 8x pro
it’s the same procedure
@@FalconpevSg so no difference?
@@Watmoetje same same
@@FalconpevSg okay thanks but why does they change the name?
How did you removed the previous stock tire?
Last time i saw you were about to cut it but you did not continued.
Ofcourse its easy to remove and instal a new one with a clean .metal rim.
But the stock tires fkr sure wont be as clean when you remove it Im sure there is a residue that remains. How did you cleaned it?
For a high speed scooter like 8x dual motor, is a lot faster. Why did you installed it without any epoxy or something to keep the tire in place while spinning.
The xiaomi for instance is just 8.5inch.It runs 25-32kph.Some videos shows that it expands on a freewheel spin.As we all know, the zero 8 speed is aproximately 40kph amd 8x has over 50kph.Im sure the tires will expand specially you even put a lubricant or WD40
we thought we showed how to remove the old tire in the video? As the rpm increase to the redline, the tire will thin out and expand but riding rpm isn’t as fast with load so that doesn’t happen when you are riding on it. Also the rims of the 8X should hold it in place regardless and whether or not there is lube doesn’t really matter. The Lube applied doesn’t cause the tires to slip out.
@@FalconpevSg as ive said, ive seen your old video. You are about to cut the tires but you did not continued the video. So i didnt see HOW you cut and cleaned the residues. For sure there will be residues.
🤔 we didnt end up cutting the tire as the new video has shown.
@@FalconpevSg what you showed is easy.
What you didnt showed is the most important and the hardest part.
@@gym_buddies9504 I’m not sure I understand. We showed everything.
