Nothing boring about your videos Robert. Your down to earth hunting videos are entertaining whether you kill something or not.

Thanks for taking us along. I’m jealous of all the flat public land you have in Ga. We’ve got a lot here in TN but it’s too steep to walk around like you do.

Robert, I don't think it is possible for you to make a boring video. I absolutely love these videos where you are teaching and inspiring me. As always, thank you so much and God Bless you.
Oh and I wanted to mention something of a coincidence. There is another man that makes youtube videos about hunting and fishing named Jeff Barron that had an accident recently. I have been praying for him to have a full recovery, but the reason that I mention this is because of what happened with you to cause tou to switch to only hunting from the ground. As soon as I heard what happened to him, my first reaction was thank the lord he is alive. My second reaction was thank the lord that this didn't happen to brother Robert when he had his accident. I thank the lord daily for protecting you on and have prayed for protection over Chris as he continues to climb. For now, I will continue to combine ground hunting with saddle hunting because I still have confidence in my safety while climbing and hunting from my saddle. I am securely attached to the tree before my feet ever leave the ground and never disconnect from the tree until my feet are back on the ground. Jeff's daughter Hannah Barron posted on her page about what happened if you have time and are interested in seeing. I ask that you add Jeff to your prayers. He is a lot like you in he is always active and outdoors and he has to basically lay around for three months in braces because his neck is broken in three places and his back is broken in two places. Stay safe brother and again, THANK YOU for all that you do. Bless you brother.

Good walk&talk, especially being snowed-frozen in! Crackerjack just seems to fit better? Just like an old jacknife??

Thanks for the tips. I'm like you and I prefer to hunt from the ground with a longbow; no baiting or ambushing. I want to best the animals on their turf, playing their game. Things might be different if I was subsistence hunting, but at the end of the day, coming home empty handed isn't an issue for me. Finding them in the wilderness and getting close is half the fun and it's a lot more rewarding when you need to work for it.

Sure do enjoy your videos. I'm from Tennessee and can't hunt hogs due to it only being open during deer season. Got to wait for the turkey season. Learning alot about hogs watching you. Never hunted them, but they are on my bucket list. Keep up the good work. Love watching your hunts. I'm a trad bow only guy myself. Ain't nothing like it. You be careful out there in them swamps.

Great video brother, feel the same way, I don’t care what you hunt with or how you do it if it’s legal but I just love the what I call intimacy of hunting with a stick bow, nothing in my opinion brings a more personal connection to the animals and has a more gratifying experience than when it comes together

I'm like you brother. I have killed deer over corn and still do at times. But I'd rather hunt the sign. And a mature doe in my opinion is way harder to get with in stick bow range then a buck. I consider myself a decent woodsman but you said something that cought my attention. Being able to tell if the sign is night time or day time by just looking around. You stumped me there. I'd like to know how you can tell. That would save me a lot of time if I could tell the difference.

enjoyed it, like always. you teach the inexperienced about sign etc, sometimes even the experienced learn something. the stick and the string has it's own reward that sets it above over kinds of hunting, but when you make a bow out of a piece of a tree and then take an animal with it, it is a whole nother world! Love it Robert.

Enjoyed video as all the other videos you put out. I'll be heading down to Georgia for the first time hog hunting during first week of February. Will be hunting on WMA. Be a little different than deer hunting in the mountains here in Virginia. Thanks again for lettingus followalong, God bless!!

Enjoying your osage bow. I built one about 9 years ago and accidently violated a growth ring . When you cracked yours I wanted to send you mine and would d have but didn't have a shipping address . It is 45 lb at 24 inches and 64 inches long with very slim nonbending tips about 6 inches long. Shoots gold tip 600 with 280 gr out front.

Hunting with a stick bow forces you to hunt where the animals are. Gun people want to sit and try to bring the animals to them. Its two completely different activities. I would guess 90% of hunters cannot walk a mile through the palmettos and river canes. Been hunting like you for 3 years on public land and never seen footprints more than a few hundred yards in.
