Thank you for the great advice - I'm going to start the oil after washing immediately. My question is, does the Jojoba oil need to be combined with another oil? (You mentioned coconut.) I do have on hand: Vitamin E, Almond, Argan, and Apricot oils. I'm wondering which one would be the best to combine with the Jojoba oil (to put a drop on after washing).
I have been following all these steps for the past 6 months and my nails look so beautiful right now... I don't even feel like putting nail polish on them, because they are simply flawless. I strongly recommend following this routine. It literally saved my nails.
I use jojoba oil after washing my hands and after manicures are dry. I also warm soak my nails once a week and rub the oil into my hands. I oil my whole hands at night before bed and add lotion on top once it soaks in a bit. My hands look pretty good for and older woman and my cuticles look perfect.
I'm a natural nail Girly too!! If you want your nails to grow quicker and thicker.. take a garlic clove, cut it in half and rub the garlic on your nails once a week, I like to mince the garlic and add a few drops of lemon juice to it and make a paste with it. I put it on my nails and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes. Sometimes I leave it as is and let it soak into the nail plate, sometimes I'll put the paste on the nail and wrap a small piece of foil around each nail if I'm gonna be moving around so it doesn't fall off. Then after 20-30 minutes, discard your paste, wash with Dawn dish soap(or any good quality grease/oil remover and add cuticle oil for moisture protection. I'm glad to hear your nails are looking better these days!! Good luck on your nail growth journey!!!
I love the fact that you turn off the water while you are rubbing your hands, to save water. I don´t know a single person (except my husbands and kids) that does that. Kudos to you!
We all do it! We live in San Antonio and water conservation is very important here. In the summer we have strict water usage guidelines. However, it’s because my daughter lived in LA some years ago when water rationing first started. They were encouraged to turn off the water when brushing teeth, showering, etc. She taught us to do the same. So my family has been doing it for a long time. We also landscaped our yard with native plants. Even my granddaughter (now 21) is doing it! 🌹
Thank you so much! I'm 62, and all of my life I've had hideous, scraggly cuticles and such short nail beds. I would roughly try to push cuticles back or even scrape them, resulting in painful hangnails that don't heal quickly and even infections around the cuticle. I've always hidden my hands and that is so sad!! Thanks to you, I know it is not the cuticle, but living skin stuck to the nail! After only 3 days of kerasal before bed, I cannot believe the difference! I am also starting to use cuticle oil after washing before my cera ve cream. For the first time, I have hope, I really do! Thank you again so much!
May I ask how you removed the top of the eye drop bottle to fill it with oil? I would love to be able to carry a little container that only emits a tiny drop like that!
@@lindam9018: I refill little bottles with dropper from the Yes You cuticle oil brand. The cuticle oil itself is nothing special but the bottle is very useful, refillable, small and portable.
Love this! I’ve been doing this routine for many years. I keep a little roller ball of oil in my purse. My sisters laughed at me when I was oiling my nails during our Disney World vacation 😂
Thank you. My nails are horrid. I train dogs and dog a lot of gardening. I am washing my hands constantly. My nails peel and have ridges. They bend and are so weak that I can't use them for anything, so I keep them cut very short but thet is all I do. I have never had a manicure nor do I wear polish but I just want them to be stronger again. I will try this and subscribe. ❤
Thank you so much for the succinct routine. My goal for 2023 is to throw all the nail enhancements out the window, and repair my own nails. Wish me luck!
Great video. I can say from my own experience that you can't be lazy about this routine. As someone who washes hands all day, many times a day, you definitely have to be consistent! I actually bought that exact jojoba oil off of Amazon and it was a nice sized bottle and not expensive.
You are correct! My feet are perfect using Kerasal. I do walk a lot and work out. If I forget to use Kerasal for couple days I start feeling the difference.
Thank you for showing the difference between the cuticle and the proximal nail fold! I always thought they were both considered the cuticle, so when I'd push back the nail folds as a kid, they'd be irritated, so I stopped tending to all of it. Now I understand the importance of trading the cuticle but honoring where it ends!
Thanks for these useful tips! I'm 55 years old, and I've always had this problem (though I didn't knew what it was) with the living skin adhering to the cuticle/nail plate and growing with it till the living skin started to fray, and because of that I never could have a manicure done. I'd always end with bleeding fingers because, of course, they were cutting (as I know now) the living skin. I've recently ordered Kerasal and some nail oils, and just started using it, and I'm very hopeful that finally (after 50 years) I'lll have nice looking nails. Finally!
I am SO glad I found your channel at the beginning of 2023! For years and years I had overgrown/stretching skin around my nails plus very dry skin on my whole hands. I work at a hospital lab and we have a strict policy of short nails with no nail polish. I wash and desinfect my hands many times a day and it has always been painful, as I had open spots and inflammated areas around my nails for years. Also I picked at my nail skin a lot, as I constantly had dry skin hanging off the edges...and endless circle :( After watching THIS video, I bought a 2 bottles of Jojoba oil (and put some essential lemon oil in it, as I don´t like the smell otherwise), one for my bathroom and one for my workplace. And after following your strict routine for a while, all, I repeat ALL my issues have gone! :) I can not thank you enough for your advise and your great videos! Greetings from Germany ♥
I'm so thrilled to find your channel. I've watched last 6 weeks and have learned so much from you. I'm following this routine religiously and I have improved the health of my nails. I love the Kerasal plus I purchased the Kerasal Nail Renewal with Tea Tree oil on several of my toes of my feet I have damaged by breaks and dropping heavy objects on my toes. It is also working beautifuly. Keep up good work! I'm USA, Midwest and telling all my friends of your channel. Thanks again!
This channel is gold! I heard in one of your previous videos to nudge the proximal nail fold down and use kerasol every day . I was already using nail oil every time I washed my hands, but the additional habit has made a huge difference!!
Thank you so much for this video. I am 62 and vegan for 7 years. I just started my raw vegan journey 2 months ago. I am amazed at he differences in my skin, especially the skin of my hand and of the improvement of my nails and cuticle. I've always had a small nail bed and small nails and skin that stuck to nails. But now my hands and nails look so much healthier, and I am motivated to take better care of them. I never thought to use oil after handwashing. Whenever I have used oil, it has been sporadic after giving myself a manicure, but never after ordinary handwashing. Thank you again for this video.
My new habits have made ALL the difference in my nails! Definitely the cuticle oil/hand cream ritual is a game changer but I think the real hero product and habit is the warm oil soak. When I don't do it, I see the difference. Thank you so much for all your awesome tips and cool videos!!
@Teeyah2 i did a mixture of jojoba, almond and avocado as recommended by Anna when I was back home in California but I'm in France for 5 months and I am finding the oils more $$ so I am just using jojoba for time being. Still working great!
Hello! Here is a video Dry, Brittle, Splitting, Peeling Nails? Solution: DIY Warm Oil Treatment! ua-cam.com/video/io335eWf6R4/v-deo.html Use jojoba. It’s the best for this purpose
Thanks to you my nails and feet are looking better already! I just started my "natural nail" journey and can't wait to see the progress. Thank you for all the clear and valuable information! I purchased 6 small nail polish bottles, filled them with oil, and basically put one by every sink! :)
My skin and the longevity of my gel nails both improved when I started oiling after every wash. For me, applying hand lotion afterward helps prevent greasiness, since it helps distribute any excess over the whole hand.
Thank you for this wonderful video! I’ve been doing this for 3 months after watching your videos and my nails finally are growing and healthy! Your tip of leaving cuticle oil near the sink is genius! Now I always remember to apply multiple times a day
Just discovered your channel today when looking for a tutorial on nail filing/shaping short nails (had to trim them VERY short). I learnt how to help narrow my wide nails, how to properly file them and most importantly how to care for my thirsty, chronically overgrown live skin. Seeing the before & after pics from the bass player was so inspiring. I'm heading out to pick up some Kerasal.
Thank you! I have been following your advice for several months now and my natural nails look amazing. I don’t want to paint them because they look so healthy as well as pretty. Thanks again!
Their marketing is clever. It says “Helps to maintain healthy skin, hair and nails”. So they don’t promise the supplement is going to fix anything. It simply maintains the health.
I have been applying your suggestions in this video since I first watched it. My nails look so much better now, as does the skin around them. Thank you!
Brilliant little video! Thank you! ☺️ I gave my 29 year old son his very first manicure the other wk, including the hand massage at the end, following your simple manicure tips. Was lovely having some quality time together like that & I felt like a professional doing it 🙈 My first time giving someone else a manicure & I really enjoyed it. It was therapeutic for us both. He's looking forward to having regular manicures now ☺️ Thank you for all of your advice 🤗😘
Thank you so much for the guide, Anna! I've recently been watching your videos to better understand cuticle care. It has been a mistake trying to trim and cut the area but I have now learned better and improved ways to care for my nails. This video motivated me to empty out an old nail polish bottle to fill with the mentioned oils that I have at home, putting them to good use!
Thank you SOOOO much for your knowledge and wisdom. I know my nails do not enjoy polish. You are the only professional who acknowledged this. I have wasted so much money trying to get my nails to grow. This year I started with a manicurist in the spring (March 2024) and asked for the IBX. I know this helped my nails but between a flood in her apartment, COVID and getting bit by a scorpion, I lost interest in it. So I went to another salon and they used Gelish polish. Each manicure was $55 and it only lasted 7 days before it started coming off. So, I searched the internet and found you. I love your knowledge and have started using OPI Repair Mode, Jojoba oil and Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair. I am only a few days in but I have confidence you have lead me on the right track. THANK YOU! I love the nail files you recommended too.
Had to come back to this video to say a huge thank you! I struggled with picking at my cuticles for years due to dry, split skin around my nails. I even read somewhere that the splits could only be caused *by* the picking, and I felt like it was all in my head! After following this tutorial for a month I have long, healthy nails for the first time in my life. Turns out I just needed to push the skin back so it wouldn’t get stuck to the nail plate! I can’t believe how easy it was with this basic routine!
Your channel has helped me more than any other source of info. I did a basic manicure by following along with one of your videos and it taught me so much! I usually get hangnails after a manicure, but I have yet to! I didn't know what a cuticle or proximal nail fold was before or how to properly care for them. Thank you!
There's nothing better than this procedure but I think the hardest part is developing the simple habit. I'm going to try harder and moving the oil into the kitchen.
Hi Anna!!! I’m happy to say that I have been following your cuticle oil and hand lotion regimen and have seen a great improvement in my nails!! 🥰🙏🏾👏🏾 I am now going to get the Kerasol for a night time treatment. Thank you so much for helpful advice!!! 🥰🙏🏾❤️🤗
Finally got my Kerasal today. I had washed my hands hours before getting the mail. I had not done a manicure yet Because I was waiting on a new polish. For the last 2 days I've been tempted to just go ahead and cut some of the ugly Proximal Nail Fold (PNF} but I'm trying to be a good student and not do that. Anyway I applied a drop of this and went about my day. I even forgot I had done it and when I went to shower later that day both my cuticles and PNF looked as if I had done a manicure. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I wish I had taken before and after shots. This is magic and I have only this channel to thank. Blessings.
I saw your video for the first time 2 weeks ago, my nails are always dry and peeling even with nail polish. I started following your care instructions since and I see a huge improvement in my nails. Thank you so very much for your amazing instructions and information.
I bought Kerasal based on this video and it's great! My cuticles have never looked this good! I just put it on at night--should probably use it at other times--but even this little makes a big difference. Thank you!
This is such a helpful straight to the point video, thank you for the advice! Being a life long nail biter Ive always been self conscious about my nails but a few years ago I quit. My nails and skin arent great and pretty scarred from lots of abuse. Im hoping this will help me :) thanks again
Brilliant tutorial. Quick and straight to the point with detailed explanations that are easily understood. Bravo… you have earned a new subscriber ☺️ PS your accent is beautiful ❤
Thank you so much for this video! I had an excessive hand washing habit which ruined my palms and nails and made them look brittle, aged and wrinkled. After watching your video I used lotion and oil on my hands and nails, along with drinking lots of water and getting exercise to improve circulation and i can see the results! They're getting softer and less brittle. I'm so thankful for this video ❤
I use jojoba oil, avocado, glycerin and calendula oils. Thats the base, i then add lavender and rose essential oils for the smell. Now that I'm back in Africa i also make a cream with the same ingredients and add beeswax shea butter. Thank you so much for sharing this 💙💜💓💕😍🥰
thank you for this. I always get very painful hangnails, so I set out to use nail oil every day. I literally have a reminder on my phone to slather my nails in oil haha, so definitely feeling called out by the video. but, frustratingly, I was not seeing much improvement. what you said makes sense though, so I’ve just moved my oil and a hand cream with a pump next to my soap in the bathroom. it already feels nicer to wash my hands because they’re not dry and squeaky afterwards. excited to continue doing this and start seeing results.
Thank you for these short but such informative videos. They have been a real help. Using jojoba oil as you suggest has made SO much difference to my nails. I have 3 bottles in different places in the house and at work and my nails have grown dramatically and improved in appearance. I have now bought Kerasal as well since the skin around my nails needs a little more work. 😁
For the soak you don’t have to. For everyday use (a drop after each hand wash) you can mix it for extra skin benefits. I like sunflower or avocado for dry skin
Thank you for this video! I started using jojoba oil on my nails at night and very quickly noticed an improvement! My mom used to use lanolin on her nails and would gently push back the cuticles ❤️
2 things: Oil literally changed my nails" life, especially after I bought jojoba from Amazon, the exact one from the beginning of this video, and vitamin E oil from Dollar Tree. The only 3 ingredients in it are sunflower oil, coconut oil, and vitamin E. It's a buck. Seriously. Also, I bought a bunch of refillable oil pens off of Amazon so that I would always have INE around. It helped so much!
I keep one in my bag and my desk at work. I drink a gallon of water daily so lots of bathroom breaks, I massage the hand and cuticle with moisturizer then oil after each use
I am doing this now , I have oil and hand cream in the kitchen, and bathrooms, I have some in my hand bag for on the go and also at work.i use a balm at night so it can soak in.
I have been trying to follow this routine for the last week. I have seen a huge improvement in both my nails and my skin. I have icthyosis and tend to have extremely dry skin on my hands. This is really helping. Kerasal is not readily available in my country but I decided to use up all the foot balms I have bought over the years for the icthyosis..as I say..huge improvement in 1 week. My question is..should we be applying nail varnish and concentrating on our skin area or no nail varnish and skin and nail bed? Thank you
Thank you for posting this! As someone who has bit/picked the skin around their nails for 4 decades this makes me hopeful. It's simple (ie accessible) but looks effective, as I'm triggered by seeing flakes/dry skin. Just in one day I see a huge improvement. 💕
I had my mouth wired shut for 6 weeks and was putting Vaseline on my lips constantly throughout the day. I sorted rubbing what was on my fingertips into my cuticles and in a short time, my nails were longer and my fingers looked great.
Thank you SO much for showing pictures of the cuticle & proximal nail fold. I would cut both not knowing which was which!! A BIG no no!!! Now I saw the difference. Mucho gracious ! 😍😀
I now have learned that i'm using to much oil but not enough times. I don't use nail polish because i have trouble with ridges and discolored nails. I really can't see how the oil could get to the nail with polish on. Good video and helpful
I think whenever I've gone to a nail place to get a manicure they haven't known the difference between the proximal nail fold and the cuticle. They usually snip away the skin which I always thought was cuticle! Yikes! I'm going to try your techniques. Thank you so much!
I use a cream for feet (containing urea) on my nails all the time. I am a picker though- I constantly pick at my nails (bad, nervous habit which gets worse when my mental health is bad) so I've had to come up with 'fixes' for this. I use an oil occasionally but mostly go for the urea cream. I've recently bought a keratin cream for nails that is super- dooper effective. I occasionally apply my concoction to my feet and the nails too and then put a silicon sock over them for the night. My skin is really dry now too and gets itchy at least once a day, so I lather plenty of oils, aloe vera and moisturiser on my skin as much as possible. Thankfully, as I've been restricting my sugar intake, my skin is getting a little better. Got to watch the diet for good skin and nails!
Thank you for all your videos. I saw this one, got the oil and some hand lotion, decanted into bottles and pumps and put in bathroom and kitchen. I have been religiously using them. In a month my bitten nails have grown and my cuticles have moved back so you can almost see half moons. My nails are soo much better. I don’t like chemicals as my nails are thin and now ridged with age. The dior glow is stunning. It only costs what a manicure would cost so overall not as expensive as it seems. What I can’t get here in the UK is lamasel or anything similar.
Kerasal is amazing. I got some from Amazon to use on my heels because they were extremely dry, cracked and peeling. I put it on daily right after showering and then put on socks. Huge difference in only a few days! I will now start using it on my nails as you describe.
Vaseline is great! Kerasal has also other beneficial ingredients like urea (humectant), glycerin (skin-identical ingredient) and salicylic acid (exfoliant and anti inflammatory).
Love following All your advise. My hands and cuticles are looking Great! But, I want to mix the Jojoba with some Avocado oil! But what should the ratio be???? Thanks so much for all your instructions 😀
I have struggled so long with nail biting. I have stopped and started also. I have literally done it all my life and I am 60. I'm going to buy your new kit to inspire me but I do have oils and keep them by the sink.
Hello Gayle, thank you so much for your support! I used to bite my nails too and I tend to pick when there is anything to pick :) So knowing this, I redirect my attantion to caring for my nails and appying oils, creams etc. It works. Quitting a habit is hard, replacing it is easier :) Good luck! Keep trying, you can do it!
I really had no idea why my nails keep peeling, but after the videos I have watched the nails must be dry. I was in the swimming pool 3 days a week and thought that was the problem but since I am not doing that now my nails are still peeling. I now understand that I should not file to get rid of the peeling part of the mail but cut it . I am now applying oil to my nails and I loved when you showed you only needed one drop per hand as now I am sure my hands won’t feel greasy. Thanks ❤
I've been following these steps for about a month now and I already have so much improvement! Thank you so much! After a lifetime of hangnails and peeling nails, I finally have hope. Going to try soaking in warm oil as well.
Your channel is such a gem, thank you so much! I have recently started caring for my nails, cause I have a habit to pick the skin and bite my nails when I'm stressed. The only thing preventing it - is having them manucured! I have recently started using cuticle oil (cnd, it had jojiba on it), but I got it before finding your channel, next time I'm getting a bigger bottle of jojoba oil for the same money. So, the difference in my cuticle while using the oil a couple times a day is immense! I don't have any hangnails and they were constant before! I don't have to cut my cuticle anymore! I have never had this in my life tbh!
So good to hear this! Please just remember that what you think is a cuticle is actually skin fold. That should not be cut. Also this skin fold can tear when dry and not elastic. Try adding a cream I recommend in this video at night. Game changer! :))
I read recently from a beautician …all you need to do for cuticles is take a nail brush and rotate it gently in circles over your cuticles ….a few times …in shower or bath or wherever …nothing else …every day ……my cuticles were always a problem ….no more thanks to this ! 🎉
Wow, one of the few videos I consider as logical! This is worth the try. Thank you🙏🏽 No expensive products and mainly natural! I will try it. Hope it will also help my dried and cracked skin🥲
Got a bottle of jojoba and a bottle of argan mix with sunflower oil 25 percent jojoba 25 percent argan oil topped with sunflower or canola oil in a dropper bottle goes everywhere I go with a tube of good neutral lotion both my carotanised nailfolds and proximal nailfolds have greatly improved in a matter of two weeks.. thank you once again great advice and no more dish pan hands and with gentle buffing with a quality block smooth one side bout 150 grit the other my ridges are less visible once again thank you to you both
Unpopular opinion: I believe that most people do NOT need all those expensive lotions and potions. I use a little cheap body lotion or all-purpose cream on my hands several times a day and on my feet after every shower. I've never had any problems with my nails, cuticles and skin.
For the most part I agree with you. I don't recommend expensive and expensive doesn't always mean better. Consistency is key and it give you results even with sub-par product. Hands and feet though do need slightly different creams than body creams/lotions. Hands and feet don't have oil glands so they benefit from richer creams. Also we put our feet through so much that many people do benefit from something special for the feet.
@@TheSalonLifeI use the Nivea blue cream on foot. It's quite thick. Also for me only cream never works. When I shower , in the end I apply coconut oil all over my body and then take shower with plain water so it won't feel weird (I feel weird if I don't wash hand with plain water after I touch oil) and plain water doesn't strip oil away so my skin is already soft. I just apply the cream on top of it although I am looking for fragrance free thick cream .
I've never had a manicure and I do not wear nail polish. My nails are medium length and have been for decades. I have really pretty and healthy nails because I never push back my cuticle or do anything other than remove hang nails and I use vaseline on my nails multiple times per day.
Excellent. Thankyou, the skin around my nails dries and I pick at it etc…. I do use cuticle oil but now will keep it in the bathroom and use often as you suggest..
I have very dry nails & cuticles so once a week I rub Vaseline in my hands after moisturizing & putting oil on my hands & nails & put on cotton gloves with latex gloves over them for extra warming effect. Now I will start using the Kerasal instead of the Vaseline. Thanks for the information, can't wait to see the results!
I had just put the kerasal in my Amazon cart and saw this video! Thank you! You've helped me recover from wearing no chip for a long time. My natural nails look really great now.
Thank you for your nail care tutorials! After raising 3 kids and 20 years on a job that is heavy duty hand work, I am paying closer attention to my nails. I’ve been using a nail oil for the past month and it has greatly improved in appearance and feel. Do you have a tutorial on how to properly clean under the nail tip?
Since at least 2018 my nails have been suffering due to increased bad health issues. They've become more ridged ( over 60 now !), & crumbly at the ends..... I had been using avocado oil at night but since watching your videos I've purchased jojoba oil & use it frequently, as well as my usual rich handcream. I've also bought argan oil & mix that in as well 😄 Nearly 3 months later, I'm beginning to feel more positive about them - how they look & feel. I'm also taking a biotin supplement daily, as my hair is now joining in the lets fall out session. Keep up the good work, sharing your expertise. Thank you.
Biotin supplements have to be used with caution. In 2017 FDA put out a warning that biotin supplements can falsely lower troponin levels which are used to diagnose a heart attack.
I've learned so much from your videos. Thank you! One last thing that I have to do is: Don't use my nails as tools. I can be doing well with my struggle to not have my hails splitting into layers and then I have a moment of weakness and use one to try to peel something, or pry the edge up on some packing tape and rats...there it goes, damaging the end of the nail again. So oil and keeping the cuticle cared for, and moisturizing...and STOP! No using them as tools!

Hi Anna, what if after you nudge the living skin back and there is a excess of skin hanging? do you just leave it as you can't cut?
If the skin fold is stretched keep caring for it and nudging. Skin shrinks over time. Let it shrink. It will over time.
@TheSalonLife thanks Anna xx
Hi Anna, do you recommend any similar to kerasal in Brazil? We have ISDIN, Eucerin, Cera V..
So good to hear, thank you!!! 🙏
@@TheSalonLife Thank you for that great advice 🌷🌻
Thank you, I’m going to start this right away!
aww! i'm excited. using the tips from this video and some others- starting today. ❤ subscribing
I love using oil daily! Makes a huge difference
I’m 60. This is the most helpful nail /cutical advice I’ve ever heard.
CUTIESS PFP!!
Same! 60 and the best I've heard also!
I'm 70 and it's the best! Can't wait to start on it!
Thats so awesome to hear! Thank you for writing 🤗
Brava! No nonsense, no BS, no filler. Good one!
Thank you so much 🤗
I love the fact that you turn off the water while you are rubbing your hands, to save water. I don´t know a single person (except my husbands and kids) that does that. Kudos to you!
Same, it drives me crazy when I see people let the water flow when they brush their teeth or wash their hands but they’re not actually using it
Haha my family and I do it 😂
I do it
And I was always told to do that
We all do it!
I started doing this, I refill my little bottle with jojoba oil and also use my eye drop bottles, Removed the label & made a new one for cuticle oil.
May I ask how you removed the top of the eye drop bottle to fill it with oil? I would love to be able to carry a little container that only emits a tiny drop like that!
Omg genius!
@@lindam9018: I refill little bottles with dropper from the Yes You cuticle oil brand. The cuticle oil itself is nothing special but the bottle is very useful, refillable, small and portable.
@@lindam9018 Eye dropper part of the eye drop bottle is easily removable.
Love this! I’ve been doing this routine for many years. I keep a little roller ball of oil in my purse. My sisters laughed at me when I was oiling my nails during our Disney World vacation 😂
That’s a really good idea!
If i'm in the car or somewhere and my nails are dry i use my chapstick or other lip balm and rub it into my nails
Roller ball is an amazing idea!
@@loriethomas169 you can also get a cuticle pen, and quickly apply.
@GinaStanyerBooks -- I am in Canada and would have no idea where to get a roller ball of oil! Any tip would be welcome.
Oh my gosh it’s such a relief to know I don’t have to apply nail oil TONS throughout the day.
Kerasal is CRAZY. Even just overnight it is amazingly hydrating.
Isn't very greasy 😬
Thank you so much for the succinct routine. My goal for 2023 is to throw all the nail enhancements out the window, and repair my own nails. Wish me luck!
Best of luck! You can do it!! 🙌
Same here. Gel nail polish has really messed up my nails.
Same!!!❤
Great video.
Thank you for displaying natural nails 💅🏾 with regular nail polish. Taking care of what God gave you is always in style 🥰😎👏🏽.
My mom says omg you saved her nail life!! Thanks so much her nails look so healthy! Lots of love from Alaska !
Ah! So wonderful to hear! Thank you for writing:)) 🤗
Finally!
You will
Makes me sad hearing this. I hope this helps you! :)
I use rose hip oil, love it for this purpose.
Oh gosh, thank you so much for your message! So happy your nails and your skin improved :). All the best ❤️
I started this last weekend and I'm shocked at how much better my nails look. Thanks Anna! I'm going to send you updated pictures on Saturday.
Yay! Cant wait to see pictures!!!
You’re really knowledgeable about your profession. Not all nail techs know the things you teach. Thoroughly enjoy your YT and IG!
Great! Which oil did you use to soak your nails?
@Teeyah2 i did a mixture of jojoba, almond and avocado as recommended by Anna when I was back home in California but I'm in France for 5 months and I am finding the oils more $$ so I am just using jojoba for time being. Still working great!
@@lorid823 how exactly do you warm soak your nails? I’ve never heard of this before.

Use jojoba.
Fantastic idea!
My skin and the longevity of my gel nails both improved when I started oiling after every wash. For me, applying hand lotion afterward helps prevent greasiness, since it helps distribute any excess over the whole hand.
I’ve been doing this for about three weeks and it has made an amazing difference. Thank you!
Awesome! Thank you for writing :))
I watched this video few months ago and my nails have never been so amazing!!!! I was looking for this tips for my whole life
i always thought the proximal nail fold was the cuticle until i watched your videos. thank you for teaching me so much
I have been using oil and following your advice for the last 6 months and my nails look great. I wish I could upload a pic. Thank you so much 🤍🤍🤍
Thank you! I have been following your advice for several months now and my natural nails look amazing. I don’t want to paint them because they look so healthy as well as pretty. Thanks again!
Ive always done my own nails and I am going to start adding oil. Thank you this is such great advice.
Gleaming Skin, Hair, Nails Formula has been fantastic for my nails, making them stronger and healthier.
Is it an ayurvedic medicine ?
Their marketing is clever. It says
“Helps to maintain healthy skin, hair and nails”. So they don’t promise the supplement is going to fix anything. It simply maintains the health.
@@TheSalonLife true 👍🏻
I have been applying your suggestions in this video since I first watched it. My nails look so much better now, as does the skin around them. Thank you!
Brilliant little video! Thank you! ☺️
I gave my 29 year old son his very first manicure the other wk, including the hand massage at the end, following your simple manicure tips.
Was lovely having some quality time together like that & I felt like a professional doing it 🙈 My first time giving someone else a manicure & I really enjoyed it. It was therapeutic for us both. He's looking forward to having regular manicures now ☺️ Thank you for all of your advice 🤗😘
Beautiful natural nails are the most attractive 💝
Thank you so much for the guide, Anna! I've recently been watching your videos to better understand cuticle care. It has been a mistake trying to trim and cut the area but I have now learned better and improved ways to care for my nails. This video motivated me to empty out an old nail polish bottle to fill with the mentioned oils that I have at home, putting them to good use!
I did this routine for 3 weeks and my nails never looked better. Huge thanks. Fantastic advice. 💯
I am so happy to hear this! Thank you so much for writing!! It made my day! :))
Yes! I find it’s helpful to have a bottle of oil or a salve next to each sink in the house
Blessings.
Thanks so much for the tips
I keep Kerasal at my desk at work and by my bedside!!!! My skin is extremely dry, and this helps
This is incredibly helpful! Love the short and sweet format. Thanks for all you do!
I saw your video for the first time 2 weeks ago, my nails are always dry and peeling even with nail polish. I started following your care instructions since and I see a huge improvement in my nails. Thank you so very much for your amazing instructions and information.
I'm so happy to hear this! Thank you!! 🤗
I bought Kerasal based on this video and it's great! My cuticles have never looked this good! I just put it on at night--should probably use it at other times--but even this little makes a big difference. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing!!
Oh wow I use kerasal on my feet often and never thought of using on my hands. So genius. Thank you for these tips 😊
Well not really on hands but on the hard skin just around the nails if needed
You are so welcome! Thanks for sharing!
Do we need to mix the jojoba oil with other oil? Sorry I am not sure if I understood it correctly.
For the soak you don’t have to. For everyday use (a drop after each hand wash) you can mix it for extra skin benefits. I like sunflower or avocado for dry skin
@@TheSalonLife thank you so much for your reply. 🥰
Thank you for this video! I started using jojoba oil on my nails at night and very quickly noticed an improvement! My mom used to use lanolin on her nails and would gently push back the cuticles ❤️
Thanks for sharing!
I bought refillable pens too! So convenient!
I’ve never heard of refillable oil pens! I’ll look it up.
@fandwoohs8129 are they all different oils or all in one? Thanks
I can’t believe, I’ve starting using Kerasal and felt improvement on my nails on the first day!!!🙏
Great to hear!
I keep one in my bag and my desk at work. I drink a gallon of water daily so lots of bathroom breaks, I massage the hand and cuticle with moisturizer then oil after each use
Oh my, I didn't know you could use coconut oil! I'll start using it immediately!!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, 5 decades here 😞
I so appreciate your short, to the point videos 💝
thank you ❤️
I had my mouth wired shut for 6 weeks and was putting Vaseline on my lips constantly throughout the day.
Such great tips, Anna! Also, your channel subscribes have just shot up! I’m so happy more people are learning from all you have to offer. ❤
Thanks Cathy! Hope your having a great day! Lots of hugs from us!
Yay good to see you there Cathy! I am a huge fan of this amazing channel! 🥰
You don't need a product..just Vaseline and the socks is the same..
Vaseline is great! Kerasal has also other beneficial ingredients like urea (humectant), glycerin (skin-identical ingredient) and salicylic acid (exfoliant and anti inflammatory).
@@hannahchase3628 I thought the same thing, until I tried Kerasal. It really does make a difference.
Love following All your advise. My hands and cuticles are looking Great!
But, I want to mix the Jojoba with some Avocado oil! But what should the ratio be????
Thanks so much for all your instructions 😀
Sunflower oil works and its cheap! You can buy a big bottle in any supermarket!
@@TheSalonLifeThank you ! Looking forward to my nail care kit. I ordered today.
So happy to hear! Nail care doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive to be extremely effective!
Thank you so much for writing!❤️
Thanks for these tips! I need to start adding oil to my cuticles throughout the day. Who would’ve thought! 😅
Both colours are lovely…apples & oranges…❤
Doing this since I stumble upon your video last December 2022. It help my nails & the skin around my nails. Thank you so much. 💓
You are so welcome!❤️
Excellent. Thankyou, the skin around my nails dries and I pick at it etc…. I do use cuticle oil but now will keep it in the bathroom and use often as you suggest..
Thanks!
Oh my gosh, you are incredible!! Thank you so much for your support!!!! ❤️
Vaseline is great too but use it every night. Just a tiny amount. Kerasal is better though :)

You are very welcome! I’m so happy that my videos are useful:))
I have brittle nails , both hands and feet. Will try this
Since at least 2018 my nails have been suffering due to increased bad health issues.
Excellent advice!! 💯
