I am 52 years old. I was never a big make-up person. I am trying to look better for special occasions. Your videos have helped a beginner like me in such a big way. Make-up isn't as intimidating anymore. You have a gift of teaching, and artistry. Thank you.

I watched the video done for hooded eyes and was ecstatic to see Smitha made this one for wrinkles. I am 62 so have both and a combination of the techniques in the two videos has given me back my "wings" and made my eyes look brighter and younger. Thank you for making a video for us "mature" girls who still want to look hot!
The way you brush your outer eyebrow hairs Down and then pencil in the outer brow with Downward Strokes is Genius!!! I'm 67 and have never seen this or thought of doing it this way, instead using upward strokes. And it never looked right. Thank you, thank you thank you. I'm so glad I discovered you! You are truly a makeup Rock Star.

Plus, she iS always explaining about how to apply the makeup instead of getting off track on something else oR reading the back of the product which we all can do that ourself! I’m a much older viewer but I still enjoy her channel & still learn a lot of tips! I think Smitha is an amazing makeup artist & must have an amazing loving heart also!💕💕💕
I have been watching makeup tutorials for years and years until this past year. Then I came across Smitha and am excited to be watching tutorials again. Finally a fresh face that is making tutorials on things that matter. She has raised the bar for people who come behind her.
Thank you so much! You have addressed an issue I have, crepey eyelids! I am 58 and while I don't have a ton of wrinkles, time is catching up to me! I ordered the eye cream and the Morphe primer. It looks like it will help! Thanks again.
I just discovered you with this video. I love that you present one item at a time so I can see what I want to learn without having to watch 30 minutes extra. Your demonstrations are just the right speed to absorb new information and your demonstrations well done. Thank you. I'll be looking for more of your videos.

Would you please help me to do eyeliner? I love the one you just showed for aging eyes, it's minimal and classy and I am stuck in the 80s with black eyeliner and frosty shadow as well as mascara.....I need a total overhaul but I have watched many, many beauty videos you know, the how to? Well I have finally found one that not only speaks my language but price range! Thank you for all you do to help those who need a little help or alot of help!

That was the only product of those I don’t have& the only one I need more info on, if you don’t Mind! 😇😍My eyebrows are a color nearly identical to yours & should also suit me flawlessly as well! I have similar products by the brand, but my shade is never as spot-on, or blended as flawlessly into the “lines” of brow hair growth as you have done! I very much enjoyed this tutorial- minus my mild spaz when I grabbed my 10x Magnification mirror & despite doing my makeup regularly- JUST realized that @30 I too, have some pretty badly creped lids! 😳 😩😬😭 LOL. Thank you so much! I didn’t realize just how much I could use your tips! 🥰👌🏼💗🙏🏼🦩
Very good, useful advice, explaining why each step helps. But the best thing is how your video illustrates how to do this CLEARLY! We can see easily each action working. Also it's a nice steady, watchable pace. Many people do these videos too fast to see the look building up. Thankyou.
Hi Smitha....you put up THE best tutorials - hands down. There is a lot to choose from on the web... but I prefer yours. They're easy to follow and address a plethora of beauty problems that befall us at one time or another. Younger or older - you have REAL SOLUTIONS - for real problems - not just coverups. It's always in the details. You demonstrate them step by step and explain the "whys" in each step along with tips to make it all work together seamlessly. ❤ ❤❤❤❤❤ your video tutorials!
Thank you so much for these tips and tricks. I have very mature skin at almost 52 and the wrinkles on my eyelids show up a lot. So I'm definitely going to try these tricks out. Love you.

I love that right away you spoke about hydration and nutrients. Makeup is not the primary thing that keeps us looking young and beautiful. I also love the brow product you chose. I personally love that one and the micellar water. I recently started using a much lighter hand to do my brows and they finally started coming out the way I want. God, I know!! I'm a pasty-ass white woman who is continually envying women of color: the beautiful darker tones (that we pay good money to attempt to acheive), more elasticity, thicker skin, fewer wrinkles, less skin cancer. 😫😫
@@CamilleGG451 not entirely sure about the lower rates of skin cancer because the amount of protection melanin can provide is not sufficient with our still compromised ozone layer and many darker skinned people don't realize that AND many companies don't cater to them, producing sunscreens that leave white casts - which is why Fenty Skin rocks so much

You are an angel! 😍😭 I was just watching tutorials thinking I can’t do these dramatic looks because of my eyelid wrinkles but now I am confident! Do you have any tips on foundation creasing from smile lines or would doing this help with that?
Great look! Definitely a must to stay away from Metallics shades. As we get older, it's actually not necessary to stick with matte shades all the time...we can use shimmer ones but only if they are formulated with a sheer or luster sheen. You have the most informative and gorgeous looks!
I'm definitely subscribing to your channel. This video helped me a lot. Without all the extra blah blah you get from other channels. HD video, you got right to the point and you thoroughly explained everything in such a short time. Thank you, Thank you!🥰

Thank you so much for this video! Not only do I have wrinkles but I have a scar on my left eyelid from my childhood… It’s a great memory from time with my Dad… No! he did not caused the scar but he rescued me😊One thing I have learned that is true and that is Matte is better if you have wrinkles…. So occasionally if I’m going out every evening the only sparkle I will use will be up by my brow just to give a little lift to my eyes but I keep it completely away from the rest of my lead because it’s just going to make me feel miserable showing my eye wrinkles. I have smiled a lot over my lifetime creating too many wrinkles and I’ve worked out in the sun creating dehydration. It is hard to repair that, but you have to try it and you do but you can daily like a routine so you don’t forget. This woman is blessed with beautiful eyes and definitely a skill for doing make up💕💕💕💕💕
You are such an artist! The way you do liner so easily in such a straight line! I’m 40 now and have doing makeup since I was about 14/15 and I STILL can’t get my eyeliner like that. I can’t draw a circle or a straight line with a pencil either…lol
I like that you did matt eyeshadow because that's what I try to use also. I just Wish there were more of the products in a drugstore. I really needed this wrinkle lid tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely LOVE your videos and I love the fact that you don’t put people down who are doing it the incorrect way like some people on UA-cam. Everything that you have taught me works beautifully and is simple and easy❣️❣️❣️
Ok this video is my absolute fav one. I'm 49 and it seems like the past 2 years wrinkles are settling in deeper 😳 I am guilty of wearing shimmer shadow a lot! No more for me, but I wonder if I could put a tiny bit just below my brow for a bit of sparkle
This is amazing thanks Q. I usually do that little inner eye corner brightening with that little spot of highlighter(shine), helps to take focus away from my dark undereye. Do you think even that should be just a matte brighter colour to avoid the cakey / creepy look -?
Matte shadows can emphasize wrinkles on lids also. One key is good skin care and proper blending but also, shimmer shades should not be super frosty but more sheer or celestial.
Wonderful video… so much work put into it. Especially with the examples with glitter eye shadow for comparison. Thanks a lot for helping us look youthful 🙌🏻❤️🙌🏻❤️🙌🏻
What a great video and thank you so much for your expertise. As we get older in our fifties we have creepy eyelids. You're very truthful when you say don't put mascara on your lower lashes I never do because I don't want a raccoon look
You nailed it again! Thanks so much . I’m 64, and I really miss having fun with big makeup techniques. The natural shades and minimal liner are so boring, compared to what I used to do. I’ve seen myself in photos, however, after playing around at Sephora for a couple of hours, and it’s not a pretty sight.
Smitha- I just found you and you are fabulous! Question: Can mature eyes use your blending trick with the stick sponges from some of your other videos?
I just got the Dominique Cosmetics Transition palette, and it’s all matte transition shades and I thought I would use it in combination with shimmer shades from other palettes, but I have hooded and mature eyes, so I’m going to use it with your technique. Excellent tutorial!
Her every video particularly on “eyes” is super realistic super informative and tips she shares is just top notch ❤️❤️ thanks for such videos😘😘 love from 🇮🇳
I love the "Dr Lili Fan" eye cream... But REALLY love the Dr Lili Fan eye SERUM to help repair those eye wrinkles! You can feel it working, it's amazing 💗
Can't wait to try this technique. I pretty much only use Tropic Skincare products so hopefully I can achieve a similar effect. 🤞 I hate my crinkly lids.
Thanks smitha for making this very informative video.I have a request, if you could pls make a video on covering neck wrinkles when doing makeup on a mature client that would be very helpful
Great videos….. just the way we expect…. You give attention to detail & very classy way of explaining minute issues with tips & tricks👌Love to watch your videos👍🏻 thank you for sharing
This video great. I'm 75 and my eyeshadow pattern is making me look haggard. I never thought of using an Ivor pencil that way but I've got a pencil like that and didn't know how to use it. Powdering over the shadow base coat is a great idea. It'll keep harsh lines from forming. I hope to find an eyeliner in a much lighter brown shade to complete the look. What I've got is pretty dark and really ages my eyes. Thank you again!!

This is amazing thanks
Q. I usually do that little inner eye corner brightening with that little spot of highlighter(shine), helps to take focus away from my dark undereye. Do you think even that should be just a matte brighter colour to avoid the cakey / creepy look -?
First time I see a tutorial about it. Simple an easy. Congrats!
Absolutely amazing soft look, your explanation is straight to the point! You're the powerhouse of VALUE of the makeup/beauty community✨
❤️❤️❤️
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Smitha- I just found you and you are fabulous! Question: Can mature eyes use your blending trick with the stick sponges from some of your other videos?
Your voice n way of communication is really good..love you dear❤️
This eye makeup is so elegant for everyone and everyday
I just got the Dominique Cosmetics Transition palette, and it’s all matte transition shades and I thought I would use it in combination with shimmer shades from other palettes, but I have hooded and mature eyes, so I’m going to use it with your technique. Excellent tutorial!
So agree!! Ty
Excellent and well explained
I love this tutorial. Easy and beautiful eye makeup for everyday wear
Loved your detailed demo and explanations.👏👏👏👏👏
Her every video particularly on “eyes” is super realistic super informative and tips she shares is just top notch ❤️❤️ thanks for such videos😘😘 love from 🇮🇳
I love the "Dr Lili Fan" eye cream... But REALLY love the Dr Lili Fan eye SERUM to help repair those eye wrinkles! You can feel it working, it's amazing 💗
I like how she gets to the point without all the chit chat. Thanks smitha I am one of your subscribers from Trinidad 🇹🇹
Thank you so much for making this video, I feel more confident with my eyes now than before. Keeping it minimal and matte is my new mantra. Cheers! 🎉
My aunt has wrinkled eyes and I always find it difficult to apply eyeshadow or liner on her lids. Thanks for making it easier 😃
Thank you for making it short and easy to follow!
Yes Arya she definitely hits on all the guess areas we have 👍🏽 thanks Smitha 🥰
Can't wait to try this technique. I pretty much only use Tropic Skincare products so hopefully I can achieve a similar effect. 🤞 I hate my crinkly lids.
This 49 year old with wrinkly eyes thanks you immensely! God bless you, Smitha!!!
Smitha you are gorgeous!!! The fact that you are so willing to share all the details of every step is a Blessing!💗🙏🌺
Thanks smitha for making this very informative video.I have a request, if you could pls make a video on covering neck wrinkles when doing makeup on a mature client that would be very helpful
Your Makeup Tutorials Are Everything!
I'm loving all the practical tips from you. Also, I'd totally listen to a "Smitha ASMR". You have such a wonderful voice 💜
It is quite a soothing and informative pattern that doesn't sound patronizing at all but gentle and encouraging!!
@@denasharpe2393 Oddly a difficult blend to come across here on the 'tube.
I struggle with wrinkled and droopy eyes....thank you so much for bringing up this tutorial 🙏 least spoken about topic in eye makeup
Thank you for this video! I needed this today 🎉
best ive seen by far , like that its close up it gives more detail thank you
Great videos….. just the way we expect…. You give attention to detail & very classy way of explaining minute issues with tips & tricks👌Love to watch your videos👍🏻 thank you for sharing
Yesss! I can’t wait to try this.
Great tutorial in keeping it simple. Thank you Smitha :)
Thank you Smitha. I have watched so many tutorials in search of exactly this information. I am so grateful to you. I love your work.
💕💕💕🙏😊🤗
The nude Rimmel eye pencil is an excellent idea!! I really like that!! I'm going to buy it and try this!! Thanks Smitha ❤
