    Two post in one week! I could get used to that. This video was great I've got several ingredients in my fridge and freezer I'm going to use and I plan to make Bento for at least 4 out of 5 days next week. That should make my work day go by a lot better. I love this series thank you!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to do this..You are like a breath of fresh air just like Japan itself!
    I ate and enjoyed eating better than anytime in my like while visiting my daughter in Japan. And now because of you and the Japanese products I can buy now I'm able to eat almost the same at home with the exception of the wonderful vegetables and fresh dairy products found in Japan.. I remember the pride off the egg farmers would put there picture on the cartons. What a special place !

    Thank you for your bento recipes! I just have a question though, everytime I watch a bento recipe or a breakfast recipe it always includes tamagoyaki and meat (chicken, pork etc). I wonder though wether Japanese people really eat eggs and meat every day and many times a day. If not, what do they eat instead of eggs? As an Italian, I only have eggs twice a week and meat 3 times a week so I'm wondering what are real Japanese people customs. Thank you for your reply

      お上手な日本語でのコメント、ありがとうございます😊私はイタリアとの貿易業を7年間行っていましたので、とても親しみを感じています。はい、私の家では毎日お弁当に卵焼きとお肉のおかず、お野菜のおかずを入れます。朝ごはんにはお弁当の残りを食べます。
      夜ご飯には魚を食べることが多いです。ご参考になさってください。

    Shouldn't all ingredients be cold before packing? Otherwise the contents of the box will sweat, and particularly rice can be problematic. Do you pack bento with hot ingredients? If you cook all ingredients in the morning, does your 30 min timing allow for cooling time? (Confused)

    • @kitchenprincessbamboo
      @kitchenprincessbamboo  5 років тому +16

      Carla Tate You are right. The food should be room temperature when you putting the lid on.
      Cooking time is 30 mins. I don't include the cooling time.
      As you can see, I transferred the rice and Okazu on to a plate, before packing.
      The temperature is like less than 30℃, same as room temperature.
      I don't really care the temperature, actually. (Luckily,Umeboshi has antibacterial effect)
      What I really care is the cleanliness of the Bento box, tools and hands.
      As I am a board member of our city's Association of food hygiene, the first thing you have to take into consideration is avoid contamination.
      Thanks for the good question. This is what mom want.

    Hi Akino-san, I notice you use deep-frying method quite a lot when making bento. So I wonder what you would do with the leftover oil afterwards? It seems wasting if we throw it away after just one use, right?

    • @kitchenprincessbamboo
      @kitchenprincessbamboo  2 роки тому

      The oil is filtered after using, when it still warm. And I use it several times mixed with some new oil. Thanks for the good question.
