Oh the memories Oksana. It's like being at home, being a kid again. I have all of the supplies and you may even have inspired me to pull them out :) Awesome instruction and your daughter did great at videoing you, but your son... now he is such a little ham lol.
My class did this in grade 5. It was fun and I've wanted to do it again sometime. Thanks for the tutorial. I couldn't remember how to do this. Maybe I'll try next yr. Your design is beautiful.
Oh my God! Súper nice to find you here. I never knew anything about the famous Ukrainian easter eggs. I was searching and... оце так сюрприз! - Моя подруга Окзана!
I'm neither Ukrainian nor Christian, but I've wanted to try doing this since I was maybe three years old. Maybe someday I'll get the chance 💖 They're so pretty.
These are so beautiful! I think they would make great Christmas ornaments as well as gifts! I would love to be able to do this with all the extra eggs I get from my chickens. Your video is so clear and easy to follow...I just might try it.
I guess using food coloring wouldn't work, because when you remove the wax, the food coloring would come off as well... Maybe textile colour? Because I live now in Mumbai in India and I can't find this kind of special dye here. And I am definitely trying this whatsoever. I painted beautiful hollow egg shells with acrylic paint.

Welcome to our channel about Pysanky
Beautiful work. Just wanted to point out though that the blue-handled kistka is usually the medium size and the red one is the heaviest.
You are absolutely right. Was a mistake on my part . Thank you !
Nice
Do you shellac or varnish the egg when you are done?
Hello. Yes I do . To preserve them for years to come. I am just using varnish fir oil painting but acrylic varnish would work too
Did you cook eggs before daying.
No, these were all uncooked eggs. Within years they just dry out
Please say how can i buy the pencil? Or how is the Name of this? And the colours? What is this for colours? Thank you.
The tool is called kistka and the “paint” is special dies for traditional easter egg making
Will the egg smell as the inside rots?
No, unless you brake it. It happened with me only once in many years . Have fun !
@@zheliskoart thankyou!
