Land Rover LR3 Air hose crack.

This is how I fixed a crack in my Land Rover discovery 3 LR3 air line. I did not find the video addressing this method and hope it helps someone out there. Sorry for the horrible camera work. I usually don’t do this type of stuff but figured it might be helpful for someone.
The video also describes how I tracked down the leak with attaching my shop compressor to the different components of the system. Let me know if you want me to add the list of parts used to create the attachment. It could also be used with a portable compressor For a trail fix (if your compressor dies)

I can see why so many are going from the air suspension to coils. That looked like a blown out hole in the tubing. What kind of pressure would it take to do that? It is critical to use
metric fittings on any repairs since the pressures require as close to perfect or factory as
possible. It is a hard life under neath for any plastic or rubber and time will not be kind to
these components, especially if the work is mediocre. It would be nice to see a repair kit
with the same hard plastic tubing and fittings in the correct sizes. I'm sure LR has entire
replacement lines, just don't want to re-mortgage the house to get them.
I'm getting leaks in the push connections at the pump itself. How can I repair that? LR
should/could have made all these connectors similar to flared metal brake lines, but
maintenance took a back seat to quick, low cost factory assembly. I doubt that it is
possible to modify the pump connections to a better set up with threaded inserts and
flared compression fittings. I'm going to look at my old pump to see if this is possible.
