Billy the only thing slightly bothering me is the throttle side is short but I’ll live with it. definitely check them out the fire sliders I got them from SoCalBoltRiders and I know dean speed customs makes them.
Liam McGuinness I saw that...not sure why. I have a c-spec and am running an R6 throttle tube and the length is good. You could always shorten it if it bothers you, probably have to get new grips unless you can remove them without ruining them. Lol Actually ordered the frame sliders right after watching your vid😂
@@LiamMcGuinnessVitalVentures Hair spray works best since it won't eat away at the grips. It also holds the grips on like glue after 15min, yet leaves them easy enough to take off.
I had the saddlemen step up for my Bolt as well. Looked awesome but it was horrible to ride. I tried powering through the break in period but even after that it was hard and uncomfortable as a brick. Had to get rid of it and now I enjoy riding again.
Thanks for checking out the video! I defiantly understand what you are saying lol The seat after the "break in" period is still pretty stiff but it doesn't bother me to much. I also think its the best looking seat out there or that I have seen so far and I mean style over comfort am I right?? lol What seat did you go with id be curious to check it out!
@@LiamMcGuinnessVitalVentures yes, style on my bike is also important and the saddlemen sure looks sweet. But in the end I still have to ride on it 😂 I got myself a Granucci seat in diamond stitch optic. www.granucciseats.com/de/xv-950-bobber-bolt-sitzbank.html Tho mine is upholstered, so somewhat thicker than shown on their website. But the comfort is worlds apart from the saddlemen. Probably also because I'm somewhat wider and heavier myself so the very narrow saddlemen didn't do me any favors with weight distribution either. But if you can handle the saddlemen, good for you. It sure looks good on your bike.
Are you going to add a fuel tuner with that air filter? I’ve got a Vance and Hines exhaust on my Bolt and I want to do the air filter as well and I’d really like to pass on any sort of fuel tuner.
Hello! so I had a power commander on my last bolt and hated it.... now I have the ECU reflash and it is amazing and the simplest thing to do. Check out ivans performance
@@LiamMcGuinnessVitalVentures I had a power commander on my previous motorcycle and like you I didn’t care for it at all. I’ve heard great things about Ivan’s and that’s the route I want to go
I didn't have to secure the passenger part of the seat. It did come with a bracket to secure it but I felt like it wasn't doing anything. I haven't had any issues but I also always ride solo
Bruh, am I the only one having issues installing the saddlemen seat? I moved the rear catch bracket back and it still doesn’t catch the back. I just attached the front of the seat bracket to the stock mount.
whats up! I really wouldn't be able to answer that since I haven't attempted to run any saddle bags. If you'd like I can send you some pictures to see if they would work.
@@LiamMcGuinnessVitalVentures @Liam McGuinness All good brotha, I ended up emailing them and I should be able to mount those bad boys on the shock bolts :) so it should work, but if anything I am thinking of getting some thrashin supply essentials bags. So it should clear if I mount em up like you. Your bolt build is coming along great man 🤟 I'm diggin that custom v02 cover, keep it up bro.
I’m running the vans cult grips on mine - love them! They absorb a lot of vibration. I need to check out those frame sliders.

Billy I actually took the grips off lubed them up with wd40 and stretched them out! They fit perfect now haha

I wonder what the best seat is because I heard this also
Looking nice, plan on getting front-engine guards and a fuel management system?
I have a crash bar on the way! stay tuned... Also I did the ECU reflash. better then any fuel management system out there!

Did you have to secure the passenger side of the seat, and did the bracket align with the one on the bike ?

Hey Liam I am thinking about buying these sliders since they are on sale atm, my question is can I still run the stock saddlebags with those?
