Update: I sold this sawmill after using it only a few times. It is not practical, easy, or fun to use. The installation guide had many typos and errors. Several parts were missing when the sawmill arrived and it took 2 years to receive them. Overall I am not impressed with Norwood and would NOT buy another one of their products.
I got the saw mill, chain and bar oil kit, 10 foot track system, cant hook, and lift hook for $1,727 including tax and shipping. I just bought the 5 foot track extension for $217 including tax and shipping. I will be making another video of that soon
So now that you’ve had this for a while, what are your thoughts? I just bought one, and now that I’ve started using it there’s things I think could be improved
I wouldn't recommend buying one of these unless you have a very remote place you'll be cutting. Invest in a real band sawmill. These portable chainsaw mills are a ton of work! And I'm not impressed with Norwood.
In this video I was using the new Echo CS 4910. I have since bought a 92cc Holzfforma G660 chainsaw with a ripping chain. I have used that bigger saw with the mill once and it does good, it just goes through a tank of gas every 1-2 cuts.
L really admire it, l,am for Papua New Guinea.Just these morning l was discussing with my family about these. Okay please let me know the price excluding the chain saw. L'am patrick.Thankz
Il faudrait toujours compenser un peu le fin bout à l'attaque pour faire du meilleur travail et tirer parti au maximum sans gaspiller de bois ! mis à part ça la tronçonneuse est trop faible car c'est un peu la mort lente !
between the cuts remove the sawdust with a battery leaffblower, to keep it clean , while you are working !!!!!! and after you finish the day as well , ......is advisable!!

After Muting...Great Demonstration, Thanks! Had mine in the box for the past 2 years...
I don't know where you live, but lumber prices around here have gone to the moon again. These little mills are looking more attractive every day.
How much was this rig and how much for the additional sections if you were going to get em'?

Do you have to unmount the saw to change the saw blade?
Hello sir. Please please teach me and help me I want to buy this mini swamile
Hello, don't buy this saw mill. It's not worth your time!
@@devinleonarduzzibig bore 660 or 395 will save alot of time.99.5 cc of torque will make it maybe 3 times faster.
Could you cut pulling and pushing?
I have no use for one of those but I bet it would be fun to put my 61 husqy on it and cut some lumber.
How big of log can you cut
The standard kit can only cut 7' logs. you would need to purchase rail extensions for longer logs
How big of a saw are you using for this system

Were you using a ripping chain it seems very slow going
It was not a ripping chain. But I just bought an Oregon ripcut chain and am happy with the results
How long are those logs if I may ask?
Nice place you got there.
They are just over 7 feet long. I'd have to buy another rail extension for the sawmill if I wanted to cut anything longer. A bit annoying
Wedges you need to wedge the flitch!
What cc is the saw?
Tem como comprar aqui no Brasil essa máquina?

What size bar are you using
That was an 18in bar on the Echo. I bought a 92cc Holzfforma G660 chainsaw with a 28inch bar and ripping chain which I will be doing a video of soon
How many it's cost
About $1200 for the saw mill and track system. The bar oiler is extra
How much it,s cost
En cuanto sale elarmado
1st cut 2:03 minutes
Toujours le meme probleme. Norwood n'a jamais corrigé la faiblesse de la poignée qui retient la scie sur le mat.
Bagus 👍👍
Plz guide how to improt to Pakistan
You did a great job at setting it up. But you really used the wrong saw. Sorry
I agree
I bought a Holzfforma G660 with 28in bar and ripping chain for this sawmill and will use that going forward. The echo was all I had at the time
He needs a bigger chainsaw!
Yeah, Alaskan chainsaw mill is much faster, practical, and efficient.
Mejor cortar parado asi es muy lento
Hey that’s me😄
Thanks for the help with the oil and stuff!!
