Great little machine. Looks like you may need a level and some shims to keep your two ends level.

yes, a little raise is needed. The second rail is slightly off the base and needs support. now it didn't hurt, because those planks go separately to the planer

The chainsaw looks like a Dolmar brand, but is Jonsered. This spring, I will make a video going through the adjustments of the machine.

thank you. the saw is a Jonsered 2171 and the cubic capacity is 71CC. The sawmill was purchased from the uittokalusto.fi online store. find your local Norwood dealer at norwoodsawmills.com
the blade chain is a special blade intended for splitting.
you can find these types of blades in stores that sell well-equipped saws.

I would like to ask you about the dimensions of the rails. What are the dimensions and thickness of the profile? It is U profile, right. And is that okay? Without twisting?

U-Profile steel S235J2C+N 40X80X40X3MM 6000MM
Yes this material has been suitable for this purpose. It is recommended to put a cross bar in between the profile to support it, so you get a stiffer structure. I don't have cross iron for support and the rails can wobble a bit, and that's not good.

Thank you for answer. I would like to use the rails elsewhere than at home, I'm thinking about a lighter version. What do you think about U-profile aluminium 40x80x40x4mm with cross bar. Will it be enough?

I believe that the aluminum structure will last well. Norwood advertises that normal aluminum ladders can be used as rails and they are much weaker than the U profile you mentioned.

Pra ser perfeito, precisa saber dividir a peça, tirou uma casca muito grossa de um lado e bem fina do outro, com isso o corte ficou meio que de diagonal.

Exactly. The tree support should be adjustable. This would enable direct sawing and the best end result.
