I tell you Roy, recycle reviews is rapidly becoming my favorite you tube show. Disappoint: HP 18, one of my old favorites too and yes it has changed. The last five years has changed HP for the worse. BUT I just opened an old HP 25 bottling I purchased a dozen years ago and it is magical. So happy to see you can still appreciate The Glenlivet 12. I bought a couple of cases in the early 1990s i’m still working through and love. Enjoy the variety you bring. Great show!!!!!

Really enjoy these types of videos. Really creative way on introducing malts that I might not have known about, and also whether I should consider them! So good!
I really enjoy this series, it is a different perspective on just the tasting as it gives a overview over the whole time with the bottle from beginning to end, from neck pour to heel pour, tasting alone to sharing with friends, bright sunny days to cold dark winter nights. I don't know for sure if I'm eligible as I am in Ontario Canada but I'll through my hat in. HEELS PLEASE!

Love these recycle vids. Don't ever change the music, it goes so well with the cluncking of the bottles.. and the juggling ;-) Also the fact that you never "trash" any bottle, just point out flaws and weaknesses. And for bottles you review that I have tasted, those comments are in my view spot on. Not begging, but "HEELS PLEASE!" :-)

Heels Please! Love the crackingly sharp reviews. And tend to agree to a number of them. Some of the big names are just not what they used to be, e.g. Highland Park or Jura. Hope they come back!

Thanks for another wonderful edition of these-they're some of the most useful reviews anywhere. Quick note re Hazelburn: my understanding is that the "triple distillation" at Springbank involves no cuts in the second run. So, the spirit has all of the copper contact from three distillation runs, but is only cut twice. Certainly explains why it's more like an unpeated, slightly lighter Springbank than anything coming out of Auchentoshan. Again, thanks so much!

That was entertaining. I have had the same experience with that Highland Park... thought I loved it, but found I wasn’t reaching for it much. The Longrow sounds pretty special.

Was very much looking forward to this. It's a fantastic first port of call for me. When I am looking for something new, its a great introduction for me to go and seek something new. Just fixing to buy a bottle of Blantons to really kick start start a good American dram journey...and adding a sample of Deanston 12 on the recommendation of a previous Recycled Review. Very recently been tempted by an Arran Amorone finished bottle, at 50 ABV its raised an eyebrow for me. As I say, great learning journey and looking forward to trying the Deanston with my good lady. Top work.
Wow.... that Glenfarclas looks amazing:) Hahaha...as Dave once said, "Dalmore...no more" :) I totally agree that Dalmore is sickly sweet with a plum note and a nasty sugar substitute note. Amazing video as usual Roy. I am jealous that I didn't come up with the Recycled Review concept first! Cheers buddy!
