1 second in, hears the music, hits the like button. Don't even know what's in the video, these things have just been so important in the new journey I'm starting on I have to mash that like button.
Nothing like the original!! This is truly one of the only UA-cam series I watch to the very end, with no skipping! Thank you for sharing your thoughts Roy and I can't believe how much time you put into organizing the spreadsheet for us. Wow, and thanks!
Now, did you leave that wee bit in the bottom of those bottles because you knew you'd be doing this video...lol. Excellent job sir, thank you! Heels please.
Heels Please! Another great recycle review, especially when there is a little bit left to sample it reminds me of Scotts parody video. Have a great time with Scott and Bart and everyone at the meet up wish I could be there. Cheers
I always look forward to these videos. When my wife hears me yell "Roy's posted a new Recycled Review" she know that she's not going to see me for the next 20 minutes or so. Very informative and entertaining. Well done Roy!!
HEELS PLEASE! Love, love, love these recycled reviews. You pack all the relevant info for all these bottles into a tidy concise video which is greatly appreciated.
Heels Please! I would have to say this recycled review had the most whisky’s I’ve ever tried or own, but haven’t opened yet compared to the other recycled reviews. Always a joy watching these reviews and so much packed into a short period of time, but it’s really all the info one needs to make an educated decision on whether to purchase a bottle or not. 🙏 Roy.
I think you and I and our associates are the only people in the U.K to taste that Lot 40. Quig gave me the same bottle. It's delicious, as you say, but pretty impossible to drink outside Canada. I picked up a bottle of the Maker's Mark in Spain recently for $23 euros. I used to drink it when I was a student and had forgotten that it's a decent dram. Springbank 10 is just right. The Glencadam 15 is back Roy and it's available everywhere and back on their website. Old Pulteney 12 - meh (abv). Agree about the Nikka - it's okay but too expensive. I like Amrut Fusion and the other Amruts are worth a go - try the Peated. That Wolfburn is just too young. I had a bottle of the EC12BP and that 69.7 which is epic bourbon. Stagg Jr and Blantons SBBP are up there with it too. I love Springbank but the Local Barley allocation in the U.K is insulting and Springbank are beginning to take the piss. That's my 10 cents. Cheers. WT
Please try Buffalo Trace should you get a chance to try it as we get it here in North America....45%. The idea of Buffalo Trace at 40% is unfortunate...it is awesome at 45%.
It used to be 45% in the U.K before Buffalo Trace took the advice of some bellend cocktail staff and lowered it to 40% rendering it pointless. I actually think 45% is too low for it. At 45% it's decent day to day stuff but there's plenty of competition.
Stellar work Roy! Great see a decent percentage of non-scotch world whiskies in there too. Nikka FTB was one of my absolute favs but I haven't bought some for a couple of years
Another great video. I think it's br that you review the bottle when it's empty. Seems so logical vs. after uncorking. PS, I think I am going to take a selfie where the magic happens. Those bins are icons!
HEELS PLEASE! - Always enjoy these videos and the live chats, Roy. I can't tell you how helpful your advice has been. One man's opinion...but it's the right opinion.
Greetings from Lincoln California...thank-you for the excellent reviews and insights on the whiskies, distilleries and culture. I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to the videos. I continue to play catch-up on the videos and have purchased several based on your reviews...so far, spot on! Cheers.
I love the empty bottle reviews. I have had too many whiskeys that started with one opinion then ended with another. I love the fact that there is time between each video as welll.... makes them feel special, like a birthday gift... thank you the great video Heels for others!!! Thanks again
Another excellent recycled review & tantalizing drone(?) footage at the end! Looking forward to any content coming from the big Dummies visit/whisky folk meet up. Crazy jealous of those lucky enough to go as it definitely has the feel of a very special special event! I think I remember hearing that samples can make it over to the US whereas full bottles can’t, so heels please! 😄🥃
Another briliant Recycled Review, thanks Roy, these are great. As others have mentioned the drone cam bit at the end is ace, nice touch. Keep up the good work... and Heels Please!
This might be my favourite series on whiskytube, just great stuff. It was also real nice to see some more of your house and neighbourhood, seems like a lovely place! On a different note, Springbank has finally become available on these shores recently, I should probably pick up a bottle soon.
Well Roy I’m so far behind I think I’m ahead, but 2+ years have passed and I am still very grateful You took time out of your busy life to meet me at the airport to say hello, and give me 3 wonderful heel bottles to enjoy well touring your wonderful country and it’s beautiful distilleries. My heart is grateful! And never give up on trying another bottle of Lot 40 CS 😉
Can't believe the Mrs. Sat all the way through the review, not only that she even ask what I'd be buying next. Love it. Best one yet Aqvavitea, love springbank and will be adding more to the cupboard. Still not opened my Glencadam 15 though. I was hoping for the Deanston palo cortado review? Let us know if it's worth it Roy. Again fantastic watch, love it.
Wow what an international whisk(e)y video. Wonderful that you are showing such diversity in your drams. I love these videos because it answers the best endorsement of any product, would I buy it again. Thanks for these, they are great. Heels Please ;)
Interesting... Maker’s Mark never does it for me - ditto for the buffalo trace. I’m one state away from Kentucky though so I get a bit spoiled in terms of bourbon options. ..Agree about the Wolfburn finish not quite working. Going to keep an eye out for green spot. Love these recycled reviews.
HEELS PLEASE! I love these recycled reviews, Roy. I got a bunch of great whiskies based on these and I guess I have some more things to add to my wishlist now.
Love these vids. Good background music, and a good personal opinion on those whiskies. Looking forward to the next 15 bottles .😊👍a few more heels please. 😃
So many great whiskies in that basket! Tried the Springbank 13 Green recently and was blown away, but couldn't find a bottle anywhere down under ... lined up a Local Barley 9 instead though, so can't wait to try it! HEELS PLEASE :)
HEELS PLEASE! Great video Roy! Thanks for sharing this! Love to see some Springbanks featuring prominently! The Local Barleys are superbe! The 9yo as well! Cheers mate!
I actually have a unopened Nikka from the Barrel that I have been holding just because of how Japanese whiskey is going to fluctuate so much in the future simply due to the supply/demand issues. I have only sampled a few Japanese whiskies but I've always felt they seem close to Bourbons or Irish for me in many cases, and since Red Breast 12 is my favorite whiskey over all right now I am very happy to explore more Japanese options in the future. I was also happy to see Makers Mark in the lineup as that was one of the earliest Bourbons I actually started to try in mixed drinks, it's a bit sweet for my tastes but it can make an amazing Maple Sweet Tea which is popular in the south. Very simple to make, small amount of pure maple syrup, Makers Mark and your preferred style of black iced tea with a hint of lemon to taste. I now have a specialty bottle of Makers Mark in my collection simply in thanks to it being one of my baby steps towards being a whiskey collector.
Heels Please! Good stuff again, Roy, thanks! Springbank 10 is probably one of those whiskies I would also always have in reach ... if I didn't have too many bottles and too many open bottles already. I just hope it doesn't too popular for its own good. On the other hand, I think SB 10 is a great stepping stone into the portfolio of SB and Campbeltown in general and there is so much more to discover - I have not had a single disappointment so far.
Well done, once again! Nice to see your thoughts on a couple well known bourbons. Great to see more samples available too, I need to send you some! Heels please!
Found the old version of OP12 on clearance for under $30 here in the states. Picked up a couple of bottles.A little sad about it falling to 40%, will probably be a little while until I buy it again if its listed at it's old price. Keep up the great work!
Congrats on not dropping any of the bottles this time! Been waiting on another recycled review and it didn't disappoint. I remember your review on the Elijah Craig, and you pretty much said the same thing how it changed your view on bourbon. Keep up the good work.
Wow, thanks for the spreadsheet on your tastings. That’s brilliant👍 Have to open my Springbank 10 now. Have you tried the Makers Mark 46? A little smoother.
Roy, Definitely enjoyed this format and will check out the earlier ones. While I would disagree a bit on the Buffalo Trace, I find the balance and roundness very enjoyable and at 45% here in the US. Just finishing my first Old Pulteney 12 and enjoyed, kindalike a scotch for bourbon fans. Mine are (already bought a second) at 43% ABV, maybe since in the States? I'm always surprised to see how much Indian whisky is. I enjoy Japanese whisky but over priced to me. HEELS PLEASE! Cheers!
HEELS PLEASE! I'm always surprised at the flavour Old Pulteney puts out at 40% I really do enjoy it! I haven't managed to try a Springbank yet, I'll need to get onto that! This is a fantastic series and the spreadsheet is really helpful! Keep it up Roy!
1 second in, hears the music, hits the like button. Don't even know what's in the video, these things have just been so important in the new journey I'm starting on I have to mash that like button.
Me too
@@DeerHunter308 same
I did watch the video first, because I couldn't divert my attention away from it enough. But that like button was inevitable.
Nothing like the original!! This is truly one of the only UA-cam series I watch to the very end, with no skipping! Thank you for sharing your thoughts Roy and I can't believe how much time you put into organizing the spreadsheet for us. Wow, and thanks!
Just saw the notification. Immediately clicked. Love these!
Stellar reviews, Roy! Oh, what the hell, HEELS PLEASE... I may give some of these that I haven't tried a look. Oh no! Too late...
Now, did you leave that wee bit in the bottom of those bottles because you knew you'd be doing this video...lol. Excellent job sir, thank you! Heels please.
Fantastic! Heels please.
Heels Please! Another great recycle review, especially when there is a little bit left to sample it reminds me of Scotts parody video. Have a great time with Scott and Bart and everyone at the meet up wish I could be there. Cheers
Watching these recycled reviews always contributes to my wishlist getting longer every day...HEELS PLEASE!
I absolutely love these video's! Some of my favorites on whiskeytube! Cheers!
The recycled reviews never get old, because is like a surprise mini review for 15 bottles, just never know what is going to pop up. Cheers Roy!
I always look forward to these videos. When my wife hears me yell "Roy's posted a new Recycled Review" she know that she's not going to see me for the next 20 minutes or so. Very informative and entertaining. Well done Roy!!
Heels Please - you continue to be one of the pivotal whisky voices on the InterWeb as I find my way through the Whisk(e)y universe......
Great review as ever! Was very excited to see this popped up in my new suggested. And HEELS PLEASE!
This is your greatest series- love it!
Awesome video Roy! Green Spot is really that good eh? I keep putting off pulling the trigger on green spot!
Same here M.M.C. 60ish seems high for a 40% to me.
HEELS PLEASE! Love, love, love these recycled reviews. You pack all the relevant info for all these bottles into a tidy concise video which is greatly appreciated.
Already to Recycled #8! Love these are a must-watch for any discerning whisky lover. Cheers Roy!
Heels Please! I would have to say this recycled review had the most whisky’s I’ve ever tried or own, but haven’t opened yet compared to the other recycled reviews. Awesome review Roy. Happy to have o be tasted most of these. Haven’t reviewed all however. Cheers brother.
Heels Please. A great series of videos; and the quality of production is second to none.
Nice one Roy we were missing this...cool choices as well, so I'm happy to give it the 100th thumbs up ! Slainthe !
Love your recycled reviews... I hope you have many more to come. Slàinte mhath, Roy!
Please try Buffalo Trace should you get a chance to try it as we get it here in North America....45%. The idea of Buffalo Trace at 40% is unfortunate...it is awesome at 45%.
Agreed. 45% in South Africa, too, and I find it's pretty much on par with Maker's.
It used to be 45% in the U.K before Buffalo Trace took the advice of some bellend cocktail staff and lowered it to 40% rendering it pointless. I actually think 45% is too low for it. At 45% it's decent day to day stuff but there's plenty of competition.
I stay clear of Buffalo Trace these days because of all the artificially allocated products. It's just not all that.
@@welshtoro3256 it's got more to do with taxation
@@TheGavranatar I think it's more to do with opportunistic rip-off. It happens a lot in the U.K
Awesome job as always, Roy. Love the drone video.

Fun as always Roy. Thanks for plugging my reviews in the description!

Another hit, great video!
I personally find the style of Nikka from the barrel to be similar to Irish, it’s so clean and fruity!
I wonder how many if us Whisky folk waited in anticipation for this Roy?? Springbank 10 will always be in my cupboard. Solid dram. Cheers Roy👍

Lot 40 cask strength is fantastic. I didn't try the 12 year old but i did get the 11 year old from 2018. It was hard to get in Ontario Canada.
Heels please! As always a great video, both in content and production. Looking forward to the next one Roy.
