Hello Jalen and sorry to hear that. This is issue can also be due to not allowing the primer to dry completely before applying the base coat. That is a reason I did not give in the video. It's does take quite a while to fix but it's definitely doable. Good luck!

It happens for a lot of reasons not only chemical reactions it has to to do with pre work ,the room temperature,did you tak the surface before painting.. best advice I can give you is use latex gloves take your time when spraying and paint in room temperature.. oh wear a mask when you paint got to take care of yourself .
I have got the same issue, is that because of the paint behind the primer that caused this? If so do I have to strip off the old paint, then apply the primer?
This was due to over application of the basecoat. They went too heavy. In your case I would just sand down the area with 320 until it’s smooth and primer. If it’s the whole thing then strip or sand down entire area and primer
@@chris01479 Not exactly. Wrinkles as long as you don't lay the base to heavy that will help prevent it. Fisheye just make sure no water or oil in your lines
@@ReveMoto Oh right, I have got upol slow drying degreaser so when I clean it to remove the oil, water, dusts, fingerprint...etc, it will help to avoid the fisheyes?
@@chris01479 It will help, but remember your air line should be free of oil/water also. The compressor has oil and water in it, so make sure that is not being pushed into the air line. That is why you have a filter system to remove this.
Not seeing what actually has been done, but reading your comment. Sand the area with 320, then primer, then sand with 400 grit, seal it and lay paint. That will give you the surface that will be great to paint on
I like smooth out edges dry, and last I will use water to smooth complete surfaces. The paper gets clogged, and you just clean it off Scotch Pad as you go 👉😭👈 this is training 101 🤭
This happened to my clear coat it’s a real problem when your on a time limit

I wish I could understand what you said in the beginning about why it wrinkled......something about primer and ecoat on the bumper
the bumper was probs new and had a pre existing e coat primer which isnt the best
We painted a brand new bumper we put bulldogs sealer and base coat and it wrinkled up can you let me know what I did wrong
Sealer did you wait enough time for it to flash off before laying that basecoat? When laying the basecoat on the first coat did you go wet?

Question ..I'm having problems with my door door ..have done it three times ..would it be better to prime ..then paint

We re sprayed the whole bumper. It had too many imperfections not too
