But they do talk about bodies washing up there often so Rhaegar may be buried there. Edit 1- the scythe actually makes perfect sense its essentially a big anchor that's sharpened, it is retractable, there's a loose rope attached to it that's wound back up after it drops. Jon even says to "drop the scythe on them again" it's a show only thing but it's not so far out of the realm of reality it can't exist.

He does tell Sansa that Arya is alive and he's seen her but he doesn't say at harenhal and it is in the same line that he tells sansa he's been in communication with her mother and that hes going to get her home. While he doesn't say it outright there also is the implication that Arya is actually with Catlyn. Because of this it is still very much up for debate if he recognized her or not but it actually seems to be one of littlefingers lies to convince Sansa to accept his help rather then him telling her the truth of what he sae

I founded and run the Q@ora space A Theory of Ice and Fire (same as here) and I have created some theories like Arthur Dayne is Lancelot and Rhaegar and Dany’s father; Aria will go to King’s Landing and steal Arriane Martel’s face; Theon is a greenseer and it’s why he hears Bran talk to him through the tree, and it’s Theon who will go into a tree eventually to stay instead of Bran; Jaqen is the real Aegon VI who got switched for Young Griff at Illyrio’s Manse at age 9 (Arya’s when the story starts); the series will end with the wedding of Jon to Sansa or Jaqen to Arya mirroring Aragorn’s wedding to Arwen and Henry Tudor to Elizabeth York.

Mostly she just gets hit with a stick, by a fellow trainee, and yet she can happily spar with show Brienne. If show Jaqen fought Show Meryn Trant, Meryn Trant is not surviving that, wooden sword or not. Show Arya would have killed show Trant in a sword fight. EASILY! Viserys treats her badly because he knows she is some random valaryian, not his sister (the real Dany died in the war). The lemon tree. The literary importance placed on the red door memory - it seems impossible to think that there is no further revelation coming from that memory...
Dany's entire character is built on her destiny - the combination of a "real" Targ beating her to Westeros, plus learning that she herself is an imposter? More than enough to (somewhat ironically) turn her mad...

I think if Viserys knew Dany wasn’t a legitimate Targaryen, he would’ve told her out of spite once things started going wrong for him. He’s trying to put her in her place and knowing she’s illegitimate would be useful ammunition that he’d be reckless and impulsive enough to use.

@burneraccount not to mention he’s literally said the ending of the books and the show will be similar. If I have to guess that means Bran will be king, Dany will die, Jon will go beyond the wall, Sansa will be queen of the north, and the dragons will leave Westeros. I don’t doubt the build-up and the mechanics will be different but the ending is going to be the same.
