Can you say why you were applying heat when you were hammering with your orange hammer? I understand putting one in the freezer and heating up the bearing but did not understand why during hammering. Thanks.
@@TakesTalent same what he is using on the video. Check TQ specs to make sure they are correct for m5! He is not correct on all the TQ numbers. I think I’ll go to a shop to have this done, no time honestly to do it myself.
Great video! Btw, rear bearings are 2x ball bearings, not tapered rollers.

that was a good video and very detailed. good use of your knowledge of science and materials behavior by heating and cooling the opposite pieces.
The four wheel bearing bolts are 30NM + 90 degrees.

Heating up the old bearing/hub assembly makes it a bit easier to remove from the axel.
