I stumbled upon your channel and I have been a gas mechanic for the last 30 years. I have never worked on diesel. Yes, you read that right I have never worked on diesel lol. So I’m thinking a young guy can teach this old guy new tricks! Great video, new subscriber here! I am the type that will binge watch all your videos and thumbs up! Awesome video!

U know u can buy just a cross over hose so u eliminate the dead head problems but still use stock regulator. It's just a braided hose with big banjo fittings that just makes a crossover on the back of the heads just like the regulated fuel return kit but it uses ur stock regulator and fuel bowl assembly and its only like 40 bucks. Then u have no more dead head.

A crossover in the back still causes a deadhead. The fuel needs to be able to pass through a regulator after the fuel rails in order to stop the deadhead issue. The only way to stop a deadhead is to have full flow.

@@InTheShop ur right but the cross over is supposed to just help equalized the pressure on both sides but yea,ur right it's still a dead head scenario. Badass truck brotha,u did a beautiful job with it.glad I found ur channel.

Love this build! Can you go into more detail about the fuel system mods you did after the air dog? I want to delete my bowl, too. Just thinking y-adapter into each head after AD. Then out the back of the head with another y for the return right back into the AD. I was thinking the same thing, since the AD is regulated and has a return, is all the other regulators and extra lines necessary? How is your dead head set up working for you? Would you do it again? What lines did you use?
