First Wash & Drive 2022 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo 1st in the USA! Full Detail and Coating

- This is my new 2022 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo in Neptune Blue that received its first wash, drive, full detail, PPF, coating, tints, new wheels, windshield protection and lowering links. This episode spans 8-months of filming from the purchasing of the new Porsche through Greenwich Porsche to delivery at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta and back to the AMMO Studio for a full paint restoration detail. At the time of delivery it was the first 2022 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo to pass through the Atlanta PEC in the USA. I will have a full Porsche museum tour on my Studio channel. Once done with the 3-week long detail and upgrade process, I applied AMMO Reflex Pro to the exterior for insane reflection and paint coating protection. Seeing how passionate you are about the minute details, Larry, I can totally see how Juan would be a man after your own heart, even with taking a blowtorch to your Taycan's windows.
That color is incredible in the sunlight and the black wheels were definitely the right move! As always, it’s the small, more minor modifications that make all the difference to the appearance and that thing looks awesome. Congrats on getting your dream car Larry!

I don't know how someone can be okay with (let alone excited) someone taking a blowtorch and a metal file to their brand new windows, hard pass, razorblade and heatgun is satisfactory for me

Man seeing all the attention to detail put into the upgrades. Absolutely done to perfection. I couldn’t help but laugh seeing Juan put on the tint and just how precise he was and knowing how you are with your own cars and your love for your Porsche. My heart is content. Most interesting: The windshield protection system.
Like most people, I've tended to think of windshields almost as a "consumable". You drive your car for a few years, keep the glass clean, try to not to tailgate gravel trucks, etc. Until inevitably you pick up a chip, scrape, or crack. And then you call the guys in the little red trucks.
I'd like to learn more about the glass protection system. Obviously it's not going to stop a large object.
However well it protects, I was most impressed by the technique and attention to detail shown by Juan, the installer. A guy with that much commitment to his craft is going to be a star no matter what he's installing.

It never ceases to amaze me when a person pays for a new vehicle and doesn't take care of it. I work at a Mercedes dealership and see very expensive cars come thru our service department that haven't been cared for or treated the way they should be. It makes me feel good to see someone who gets it and feels the same way about their vehicles the way i do. I will be using some of your products on our Corvette when it warms up and congratulations on your new car, you have more than earned it. FTR your channel is wonderful.
I know American buyers are the reason we don’t, BUT we really need more “Shooting Brake” model cars in our lives! This is an amazing vehicle and so glad to see it being loved and appreciated by Larry.

The tint especially. Maybe I'm old school but I've never seen it done on the outside of the windows. Makes perfect sense and the guy doing it was insanely proficient. Looks killer.

Looks great Larry! Don't forget to protect everything underneath the car (bolts, control arms, springs etc) with something ceramic with an airbrush and it keep the material from looking aweful after a couple of winter seasons. :)

Congratulations, loved the Porsche experience. I stopped in Stuttgart for 7hrs to see both Porsche and Mercedes. Flipped a coin and chose Porsche first. I spent 6.5hrs at the factory and museum. I took 600 photos in the museum. It was truely an amazing experience. I loved your fan-girling comment. It just takes your breath away and a few minutes to compose yourself. Wow, not sure how I missed this video. I've been obsessed with the Taycan since I first saw it, it's the perfect blend of performance, comfort, technology, and style. And the fact that there's a touring/wagon version, which I wasn't even aware of, makes the thing even cooler! But on top of that, to see Larry acquire his dream car... and watch his OCD in full effect as he makes a pristine work of art just THAT much better, is something truly special. Who would've thought, after all these years of great informative videos, it feels like everything has come full circle. I remember when I started learning detailing I went from car wash to car wash non wanted to teach me but learned something new from each place. Although I am no Sansei, I can say I work really hard to learn and no just be a simple vac guy currently doing mobile detail🙏😁and of course always learn from the big dogs like ammo 🙇♂️
