Thank you bro. I could not get the dam starter out from bottom. I was lucky did not have to take tire or plactic wheel shield out. But i finally got the dam thing out from the top . It was still a struggle . Good news the new starter slid eight in no strugling putting it in from the top wow. Thanks again...👍
Your video just gave me hope! Mine is doing the same thing, but I have a clicking sound and no turn. Did yours also do the clicking? I can't tell from the video 🤞
Mine did not make a clicking sound. In my experience when I've gotten a clicking sound it was the result of the battery being to drained/ dead to start the car. I would have battery tested and charged first to eliminate that possibility then move on to starter.
I think the starter is the same problem that I have with my 2013 esv but i don’t know if the engine is gone or what because one day when I was driving it I was approaching a stop sign then the front end starting vibrating a little then the truck just shut off. I turned the ignition off then tried to start it again and all I hear is one big click everytime I tried to start it. Then I did some research and people were saying that even if the starter went bad that wouldn’t have stopped the car from running so I don’t know but I really hope it’s just the starter and my engine isn’t shot. Thanks for this vid tho whenever I get time to change out my old starter, I’ll come back and refer to this vid.

was this issue but if boosted it started? so could it still be a starter?
Negative. That sounds more like a bad battery.
Did you pull the starter out from the top or bottom
Pulled from bottom but above the a-frame below the exhaust manifold.
Does the engine make a ticking sound?
No ticking sound. All electronics and lights flattened after key turned to on position.
