The Ranchero was sold in Australia as the XK and XL Falcon utes. They were also sold in a sedan, station wagon, and panel van (kinda like a sedan delivery with a taller roofline) versions as well. The later ones were also sold as a coupe. The first Falcons sold over here were built to U.S. specs, and started falling apart due to the conditions of our roads back then. They were significantly re engineered so they would last on Australian roads. They were sold with a 144C.I. 6 Cylinder, and were later brought out with a 170 C.I. 6.
@Freiherr Dinkelacker couldn’t agree more definitely a cool car that was my first ever vehicle bought in the early 80 s for $4800 dollars no problem until someone wanted it more than me and nicked it😤😤
Thanks for sharing. Love the old falcon ranchero’s . Those straight 6 Ford cylinders are pretty much indestructible. Yes, would love to see getting one running. God Bless Men ! ❤️
This father & son tag team video has always attract the attention of restoration lovers for its fantastic engineering know-how, skills and last of all good video filming/presentation......Well done folks......!
This episode kinda reminded me of American Pickers. So many old timers pass on leaving their family to deal with their horde of "stuff". We've seen plenty of episode of this on American Pickers. A lot of the "stuff" is junk/trash. But, It's kind of a shame as many family members get overwhelmed. They then simply throw out in many cases very valuable collections of old car parts and other items. It was nice to see that gal selling the items cheap vs. calling in dumpsters to haul it to the scrap yard or dump.
Well said mate, as I think Sarah was LOVELY - (I love her accent & calm voice, too !) I notice a few, here, in the comments, ARE also knocking her as "a silly girl" I think that's grossly unfair, as she's NOT in the car-business, nor a "shark" She just wants the barns "cleared", no-fuss, no-hassle Yeah, sure, $800.00 seems laughable cheap - But she'll have "free" barns & less mess to deal with
Thank you so much for this great channel. I watch it with my 6 year old grandson who has a dad that isn't part of his life like he should be. So it's nice for him to watch this about cars and trucks being rescued by such gentleman. He needs all the good influence he can get. God Bless.
Yes, please get these old Fords back on the road!!! The Camper would be super vintage and cool. Love that you are recycling this stuff rather than letting it rust.
My mother had a new 1960 Falcon Ranchero and I drove it all the time all over the place. I also had a 64 Falcon Van years later. What a great time we had back then.

The reason you don't see too many these days is because when these cars were new they were purchased for their utility and used hard. When they were no longer worth repairing they were sent to the crusher.
I had a '60 Ford Falcon back in the '80's in Denver CO, had a huge, very damaging hail storm. There is a lot of damage. I watched a late model. Corvette got crushed into the ground. I found 4 others, which i stripped for spare parts to restore it. But unfortunately found out that my moms sister had it towed away while I was overseas. It was 95% restored, such an injustice. A 1960 Ford Falcon was my first car after I got my drivers license in 1966. It was a well used hand-me-down from my grandparents, and was a challenge to get up steep hills, with its 55 or so horsepower six banger. Drove the car a couple of years before buying a used VW Bug.
WOW! She had no clue how much those cool Ford's are worth. I have a very nice '65 Ranchero shell with fenders and doors for sale out here in, Nazifornia.
Most people do not through South America. In 1990 as I was leaving the airport in Buenos Aires, my jaw dropped down to my knees. It was like going back in time. All the taxi cabs were Ford Falcons that had modern interiors and outside lighting. The Ford pickup trucks all had the 1972 body style. After some investigation when I got home, the molds for stamping the Falcon and the 1972 pickup truck were sent to Brazil. You'll find the body panels that you've been looking for are new old stock sitting on a shelf. I bought a new 1972 Ford f250. That year was the last year of that body style 67-72 in the US. After 1972 Ford was still making that same model 20 years later in Brazil.
You need to get that camper van up and running, could take it on long recoveries and how cool would it be to just go cruising around in that thing. Great vid as always look forward to Fridays to catch the latest. Peace.
Good find! Writing this early into the video, pull valve core, use male quick cplr in female cplr , that gives full pressure from compressor to seat bead. God bless!
Nice Falcon Ranchero, I had a 1964 Falcon, great car, here in Canada. But man it was cold in the winter ( heater was not too good ) The Ranchero will bring a good dollar when finished.
Great video! That Ranchero body is in fantastic shape! these really tended to rust out. Not many good ones left. Get it running, wheels and tires and she'll be a really sweet ride!
Great video guys!! God is amazing and it shows how he’s working through your business. I’ve been looking for years for an early 50s model truck and love watching you guys get them running.
20 or so deep in the comments and not one question about the Mustang! The 67 and 68 Cougars are my favorite cars but I love all the old cars. If you did a video on that Mustang I would love to see that video or any Cougar videos! All the best and God Bless!!!
I had a 63 Ford Falcon and the 6 cylinder was indestructible. Love that car. I had some fine cars but none as reliable and fuel efficient as that Ford.
I have been a subscription holder for a good old time now and we enjoy watching all not some, but all of your videos. Always behind on catching them but I do my best to get there. Great evening to you and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

My dad had a falcon. he rebuilt a 390 to put in it loved that car, all his vehicles, he always rebuilt 390s to put in. When i was a kid, I didn't take up the mechanical industry i was more interested in industrial electricity. so im guessing, back then, it was an extremely reliable engine.

that old camper is pretty cool.
the falcons are pretty cool also.
I'll love to see you guys spend and film HOURS of trying to get them running. I wish you could have gotten that Fastback!
I had a 63 Ford Falcon and the 6 cylinder was indestructible. Love that car. I had some fine cars but none as reliable and fuel efficient as that Ford.
Good finds for sure
Thanks for watching 🙂
Would love to see that van (camper) up an running again, I find it the coolest of them.
My Great uncle had a 63- Ranchero until he passed away, he Loved that vehicle, it was Candy Apple Red...
I have been a subscription holder for a good old time now and we enjoy watching all not some, but all of your videos. Always behind on catching them but I do my best to get there. Great evening to you and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

What a great night! Come home to VGG, Mortske Repair & Turnin Rust, all at once!
Get one of them running and would love to see the old camper running again Great video Thankyou
Oh man, need to see the Ranchero restored, on the road or for sale! You are the guys to make it happen!
A real barn find and the Mustang would have been a bonus. Thanks for sharing your video guy's and camer lady. Take care.
That’s gotta be a lot of money restoring those old cars even in that great of condition. That rare Ranchero definitely needs restored and shown off.
You are so blessed to inherit that beautiful place
Love that Camper 😊 she sure ain’t no VW Splitscreen, but she’s still a lovely old girl 😂😂 get her cleaned, and up and running 👍
Man, that Falcon is purty!
