      Hi, it was a hard one to forget. Mark was so clean and sharp, just amazing. Fun fact, this video originally came from a VHS recording I made of it before transferring it to digital and finally onto this channel. Only wish I had made more recordings back in the day. Thanks for your comment.

    Nothing like some old matches from the Scud

    Did not know Scud was runner up in 94 Boys Wimbledon. Winner of the doubles though where Gustavo Kuerten was in the opposite of the draw.

      Serious waste of talent. Maybe would have done better with today's sports science

      One of the biggest wastes in tennis imo. Could have won multiple slams. Never forget the time he beat Sampras

    • @z1az285
      @z1az285 2 роки тому +1

      @@634983 He has beaten Sampras twice in slams (AO, french). Also won set1 at Wimbledon before retiring due to a freak injury sadly.

      @@z1az285 I'm not sure that freak injury wasn't partly due to poor training. I think he liked the lifestyle a bit too much

      @@634983 Agreed, but he was physically capable of going all the way. After all he reached two slam finals, so he did put in the work. I believe the Wimbledon loss to Sampras was sheer bad luck though

    At the beginning Paradorn was hitting better but mentally got beaten in the end especially one of his shot was called out at final set 3-4 he continues saying no no no afterwards lost of concentration without the Australian support playing against the home boy.

    These tennis outfit styles are better than today. I mean if you're playing hours of tennis you want loose fitting clothing. Today it's more about form over function.

      Hi J. A Lot of the finer nuances of tennis have been lost over the years and I think it's a shame. Though the game has evolved in many respects, not the least of which are athleticism, endurance and skills, still In an era now long in the past, a certain eloquence of this sport has also been lost. I get your point and agree. Thanks so much for your comment.
