- In this video I 'm going to show you how to get more distance and use your wrists to create some extra speed in your swing. Sorry for the long break between videos. As some of you may have seen on Zac Radford's Channel in his latest video I've acquired a new position as the Director of Instruction at Indian Hills Golf Course in Murfreesboro, TN.

Hope you enjoy and I'll be back uploading videos as I make this transition!

Great video. I haven't tried it yet, but I really like the fresh approach. Thanks.
Great drill Matt- best of luck with the new position 👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I like the drill. I need much more compression at the bottom of my swing. John. Atlanta, GA.
Yeah, my swing has always lacked any real pop at impact. I have been working with my bag and here is what is weird, provided my rotation is correct I have the sensation of my left arm slowing near impact and the club head passing my hands. Yet when I see it on video I never fail to achieve shaft lean. To add, I sometimes imagine I am hitting the impact bag during a round and it seems to bring my focus back to impact which tends to slow the rest of my swing down. Good video, thanks.
Excellent, Thank you so much, can`t wait to start ! I just wish I had seen this training technique earlier.
I struggle with coming from inside with an open blade
Hope it helps!
Great drill Matt, thanks!
You're welcome!
Hey Matt j just watched the UA-cam of you and zac playing. What brand and model gray and white golf shoe are you wearing?
C Bauersk adidas! Just answered ur comment!
It’s me again. I spent most of my golfing life blocking my way around the golf course. Told from the beginning the evil of the right hand. “Let the release be natural” they said and wrote. I even dismissed Hogan’s “ I wish I had 3 right hands” as an aberration. I am now popping that impact bag with a vengeance trying to make up for lost time.
haha awesome!
After being away from the game for about 3-4 years I'm getting back into it this is great for timing at impact. I've been having a hard time with the trail arm at the transition, I tend to collapse the elbow into toward the hip at times. Any drills or tools to help me get the feeling of keeping that separation?
I'm not sure what you're asking for as far as "keeping that separation?" The trail elbow will match where the trail hand is on the club typically (or should) so I would check your grip for the correct match up.
I was trying to say i feel like my trail elbow gets almost tucked behind my back. It tends to happen later in rounds possibly fatigue. i get really stuck and late start blocking everything right.
Shawn Marshall make sure your trail hand sits more on top of the club head and start your release earlier
Where's the swing? Golf hitting
Its called momentum
