Massive props for sticking it out Rob. I have to say you were so beat at the end of the first day that, in the footage of you eating the buffalo, you looked like you were on the run from the FBI or something. LOL.

Thank you so much...! very lovely ! What a nice Beautiful ! day !!!...snowy and wintery ! its snowing ! so have relaxing palace !!!...I like very this palace , Iam want fly now ! and camping here !!!...
I don’t know how deep the snow was but, a deadman anchor is always a plus. Bury a branch in the snow and lay it horizontal as well as perpendicular to your guy line, then bury it. Super sturdy! Have you tried using a truckers hitch on your tarp ridge line to get it super taught? That helps as well as side pull out on the tarp. Anyway, great video and keep it up!!
really enjoyed watching your camping ⛺️ Adventure today, beautiful Fires , buffalo steaks 🥩 for dinner and , bacon Coffee/ and hot chocolate for breakfast, that sleeping bag looks like a very good one looks like it was helpful in keeping you warm despite the harsh weather ,you managed to stick it out and pulled through despite the Challenges, thumbs up 👍🏻 great content.
Greetings from the Pacific Northwest... Washington State. Awesome video as usual my friend... Love the snow! Your shelter is under some serious snow! Awesome fire too! Nothing beats winter camping! Keep up the great work! Amazing location your in!
Hey there! We are Matt and Ann and we just recently came across your channel. Your videos are very nice to watch, they are very interesting and the scenes are really pretty. Thanks for sharing! Keep up the great work :)
I'm living out my dream of living somewhere that has massive snowstorms through these UA-cam videos. Here in mid-Michigan we used to have white outs. They were amazing, but now they're pretty lame. 😒 The Upper Peninsula still has good snow though. We get a few inches-they get a few FEET!!!
Hi Rob, A couple of Y sticks locked together under the middle of the tarp would stop the snow pushing the tarp in overnight. Given how stunning that place is I would have likley done the same tarp set up , hoping to get a snow camp on Dartmoor in the UK one year! Happy Trails, Chris.
Thanks Chris! Yeah that was my original plan if I had got there earlier but sadly it wasn't to be! Oh well there's always next time. Enjoy mate! Fingers crossed for you

Hey Rob. I’ve been watching a lot of your older videos and I realized that if you bring a poncho along with you, you will always have a cover for your fire wood or a pack etc.

I hike in, camp for three days, snowed the whole time. Hiking out I came to the rock faces. Drop the pack, climb up, tie of rope, rappel back down, put on pack, climb back up with ascenders. On one, I look back and see my favorite hat had been knocked off my pack...rappel BACK down, get the hat, climb back up...the things we do for fun!

Another good one dude. 🤙
Thanks buddy!
Hi Brooks & Birches, I just found your channel and it looks really interesting so I have subbed to you. Where in the world are you as it looks peaceful and remote? Great film with plenty of jeopardy, it had me sitting on the edge of my warm comfy seat.
Hey Rob, always a pleasure to watch you, making fire going and breakfast in the woods! Hope you‘ re doing well! Greetings from lower saxony, Jens
Greetings Jens! Always my pleasure to have you with me! You too buddy!
Thanks Rob, we've had a bit of the white stuff here but nowt like that. Much prefer "pissing in the wind" as opposed to " fruitless endeavour" Stay safe pal. ATB 👍😊
I saw Alan! I've been inundated with photos of a white Yorkshire recently. White like the rose! Cheers mate! You too
