Don't forget that he's also a former child star as well, as he was on Good Burger in Nickelodeon. He's been in SNL for a long time and he never lost his mojo.
Yuup!! But what did he do? Act like an asshole and racist to Donald Glover. Once Donald left the show lost its spark and I fear Chevy may have been part of the reason he ultimately left which is so upsetting
I genuinely can't imagine the show without him, though. He was 100% the weak link, but the Pierce Hawthorne character was great... Just not even close to the same level as the rest of the cast. He and Troy were originally supposed to be the Troy and Abed duo until they noticed how much synergy there was between Glover and Pudi. Getting shifted away from that and watching the rising star in Glover getting the "Donald says something funny" to cap off most scenes in the script drove him nuts. He dug his own grave with gusto.
He's his own worst enemy. Some people can handle fame, others think it makes them gods. Chevy makes the 2nd group seem humble. He hasnt been funny in 40 years.
@@peazeralusthats just Chevy. He feuded with Bill Murray, he feuded with Richard Pryor, and feuded with Donald Glover. She said it was the most miserable experience of her life. Melissa Villaseñor also spoke out on her lack of screen time on social media during her last season. During one episode she commented "hey, where am I?" or something like that. She had been on the show for around 5 seasons, a talented impressionist and singer, and could also play weird-ass side characters (there's this sketch where Kit Harrington is doing a burlesque dance for his fiancee's bachelorette party, and Melissa's the only one into it and keeps on saying how sexy he is. At the end Kit's like "thanks, sis!"), and proved she could hold her own with her own characters. By that time it was a really large cast, but there'd be episodes where she wasn't even there but every member of the cast was. Even featured members.

He does another bit about smoking weed with fans after a show and getting too high. Love his stand up but him going after Pete does sour me a bit on him.

McDonald wasn't fired because of his OJ jokes. He threaten to leave if is friend was let go from SNL, and then followed through on that threat, but told no one, even his friend didn't know until after his death.
The show says he was fired from weekend update because of his OJ jokes, which is true. The video does not say he was fired from SNL for the OJ jokes. Details matter.
In all fairness to jimmy fallon, after the rest of the cast realized they could make him break, they made a game out of it. And it got laughs from the crowd, and ratings were good, so the higher ups didn't do anything to coach him out of the habit.
Fallon was really likeable on SNL. But just like his current show, he laughs A LOT. I don’t think it’s always genuine. He would break almost every sketch.
If ANYONE stood up for their beliefs as much as Victoria Jackson did they be lauded for their bravery and conviction, but because she's a Christian they mock and crap all over her. Disgusting!
Ah yes, standing up for Christian values is HILARIOUS. It’s just as annoying as when they had a cast member dress up as Hillary Clinton and sing “Hallelujah” after the 2016 election. Get over yourself.
That song, written by Cohen, has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. The truth is you're being disingenuous, because obviously you have things you hold dear to you that you would defend if the roles were reversed.
You can be sarcastic, but my point still holds true. If there was something that was sacred to you, and someone mocked you for it, if it didn't raise your heart rate, you would be lying.
No offence to Dana Carvery, but how do you “steal an impression”, when the point of an impression is to sound exactly like the person you’re imitating. And while we’re on the subject, why does everyone keep stealing my Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions?
Wow, man. I mean, Brewer wasn't exactly what I call average looking for a punk. What made him think that what he got, mixed with half a burned out Michelin man, is anything to take serious or not?

I didn't know punk rock existed in the 70s and 80s
Chase has a BAD reputation for being awful to his peers
You missed Larry David quitting and walking out on the show, then realizing he didn't have a job and the next day walking into the show being told he had quit, and then telling them it was just a joke. He did actually get his job back.
SNL vs the muppets
Should have just made on entry of Chevy Chase vs everyone
Slight problem....Dick Ebersol was the producer when FEAR was the musical guest. Please do research!!
Shane Gillis was never feuding with SNL. Even at the time he understood why they fired him and has stated he didn’t hold it against them. This one doesn’t belong on the list
TIL Downey, Jr. was a "big name" in 85-86.
Wow nice video takes it as inspiration for my channel :)
@DontDelete-fp8oy it's only my opinion
@@PillsOfMadnessOfficial It's not a opinion. It's you self promoting. Also don't delete is a bully. He stole a private photo that doesn't belong to him.
@@Reaperguy67 I didn't steal anything from anyone and I still don't understand what the problem is, if you don't like what I do it's fine I accept it, but why are you wasting time with me instead of living your life?
@@PillsOfMadnessOfficial I wasn't talking about you. I was telling you what don't delete was doing. When it comes to you , you do spam the same thing in every video
@@Reaperguy67 Who is deliting what? I don't understand
Adam McKay is so much funnier than Jim Breuer. To say Breuer is one note would be giving him too much credit.
Kattan and Chase should fight!
The discomfort of the cast around Milton Berle is so obvious.
We do not have a feud Pete, but you will never speak to me!
Chevy Chase and Chris Kattan on the list multiple times.
You forgot Chevy Chase
This was all long before SNL changed formats, it was a much better show when it was a comedy show.
@@antoniosilvestrojr. the truth is I’m being sarcastic and I think your whining is comical.
You can be sarcastic, but my point still holds true. If there was something that was sacred to you, and someone mocked you for it, if it didn't raise your heart rate, you would be lying.
At some point, Pete Davidson is gonna have to be funny
He’s not
I gave up waiting for it to happen years ago
I haven't watched it in a long time, so I have no idea of any feuds. 🎉
Who in their right mind will hire Fear?
How many times can they make the same video? I feel like they've made this a few times.
There are two sides to every coin. We have to be able to receive the truth, too.
Soooooooo #25 was not a feud, more of a production note.
No mention of Chris Redd being with Keenan's ex-wife/ baby mama?
This would have been a great list with 96 percent less voice over. I can't even watch it.
Al franken... you mean Adam friendland?
The Robert Blake vs. Gary Kroger feud is the biggest.
Davidson was unfunny for years.
He "became funny" after all the big names like Hader, Sudeikis, Armisen, Samberg, Wiig, and Taran Kilam left the show
You mean hilarious
Still is
Still is
And when he dyed his hair blonde he just looked like a dirty Q-tip😂😂😂
I never got the hero worship of John Belushi. I think his untimely death is why people put him on such a high pedestal.
Norm MacDonald firing made SNL the biggest losers. And I heard that Milton Berle had a huge ego for one particular reason.
Put Seagal back on SNL! It would be a laugh riot how he is now.
I have a feeling I know what #1 is
Meh everyone loves Debbra Jo Rupp's voice and everyone hates Victoria Jackson's voice......maybe it's not necessarily about the voice lol
i thought gillis was fired last year
No offence to Dana Carvery, but how do you “steal an impression”, when the point of an impression is to sound exactly like the person you’re imitating.
And while we’re on the subject, why does everyone keep stealing my Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions?
This was a lazy video, a bunch of random clips but very few of what’s actually being mentioned.
Wow, man. I mean, Brewer wasn't exactly what I call average looking for a punk.
What made him think that what he got, mixed with half a burned out Michelin man, is anything to take serious or not?
