I can confirm personally that Victoria Jackson is one of the nicest and kindest people you will ever encounter. Victoria is at the top of my list as favorite SNL cast members.
Honestly I have been watching since I was a wee boy in the late 70s some of my memories are Fuzzy but the early cast had individuals but some of the skits were.. experimental but My fondest memories are Eddie Murphy, Fred Armisen and Bill Hader who all consistently did stuff that I liked and didnt annoy me many cast members annoyed me, some of them were very talened on their own or were more like song and dance performers but had inconsistent sketch material. Absolutely cant stand Katan or Shannon they are more annoying than Franken.

I was a bartender in LA for many years. Cheri Oteri stepped up to the bar and ordered a drink. I carded her not because I didn't recognize her but because she looked 18 yrs old. She did! I was shocked when I looked at the name on the I.D. and then at her. I told her how young she looked. She seemed nice.
I met Molly Shannon in New York when I was 8. She gave my dad directions, then I asked her if she was the lady from Superstar. She blushed and said yes. I never forgot it because of how humbly she handled being recognized.

Me too. For many years back he had a reputation about being an asshole basically. After a while of hearing the same type of stories over and over again, you have to believe they are true.
I haven’t heard anything about him being prickly. I heard that he definitely enjoys doing whatever he thinks sounds fun after work, like flying to Indiana for a Notre Dame game before the playoffs. Then a week later flying to Barcelona for a dinner reservation with some friends. And when they were filming St Vincent Bill had finished his last scene for the week and he left to fly to some fancy golf course. He invited Melissa McCarthy to come join him since she mentioned she liked golf. She turned him down because her husband was bringing her kids for a visit. He never invited her again. But he is always a professional when he’s working. And I’ve heard about all the tabs he’s paid for people in restaurants. Like a Dad and his little boy. They were sitting a few tables away and the Dad got with the kid to take them to the bathroom. And as they walked past Bill the boy said he’s a ghost buster. And after they were on their way back to their table Bill made small talk and of course made the kid free special. As Bill was leaving and the Dad and kid were finishing their meal. The waitress came out with a HUGE vanilla sundae and a tray of a few different sauces and a bunch of different toppings. And said I have to go would you fellas mind eating this for me. They accept it and before he left he paid their tab. Or the couple who had just gotten married. The Bill was in the area and he photo bombed them. They invited him to join them and he did. He danced with the bride and did shots with the groom. Then he scribbled a note as he was sneaking off and he wrote them a personalized note thank you note and gave them a grand. None of that sounds prickly to me.
I understand he's had certain problems that are really no secret, like the old glug-glug i.e. booze, and that will sure as hell make a man moody...also he's pushing 80 or something now. I'd hope to see Bill Murray in at least one more great movie or at the very least, several more guest host spots on SNL, he's a great comedy talent one of the best ever -
@@foto21 Chase tried a little too hard to be like Leslie Neilson, but while breaking the 4th wall by being immature enough to be acting like you all know he's just trying to be like him. He never felt authentic in any of his scenes / movies. Sure, he could be funny, but that was 95% the writing, and 5% chase just being deadpan stupid. I have the same impression of Bill Murry; same cringe seriousness while trying to be comedic that just comes off as snobby and immature.
I mean, it was clearly a idiotic stereotype .. but I'm sure he genuinely believed it being around a ton of unfunny women. You just don't see women stand up, and they're generally side characters in any production. Considering just the women mentioned in this video .. he wasn't precisely wrong if that's what he was going by. I can think of very few "celebrity" .. as Tracy would put it... women that I've ever found funny. They can certainly deliver some funny jokes .. but that's the writers pulling their weight. I've never thought " OH! It's _____ ! I need to see what they're doing!" Roseanne Barr is probably the only one I've ever come close to that. She's genuinely witty. even if her brain rotted with age and she went nazi.
Because he was a misogynistic asshole, and if he diminished and dengrated the females, he obviously had a shot at more screen time for himself and anything he wrote.
I’ve known many witty funny women in real life, but for whatever reason they don’t seem to raise to the level of hilarity as men as often especially in standup (many women are good comedic actors). At the end of the day, I do think the super rare top level of comedic genius seems lacking in women for some reason, and I’m not exactly sure why but probably some confluence of factors, and I wouldn’t say it’s thus necessarily impossible for women to reach that uber elite level.
Rest In Peace, Charles Rocket. He was incredibly funny when he guest-starred on a "Moonlighting" episode, portraying Bruce Willis' character's brother, "Richard Addison." Best Episode: "Brother, Can You Spare A Blonde."
My favorite cast members are the entire original cast with Akyroyd, Belushi, Chase, Murray, Morris, Curtain, Radner and Newman. They used to have small skits that were spoofs of commercials. Very funny. One in particular I remember is from season 2, I think. It's a parody of the old "Perrier" bottled water commercial. The product was called "Swill" and it's bottled straight from the east river in NYC. Great stuff.
I used to filter my dates based on whether they found Sandler hilarious. It was OK if they didn't like him or thought he was childishly funny, but a lot of women back then though he was comedy gold: I knew they were too dumb to take seriously
Because if a person has “an insane rockin bod” you gotta flaunt it while you can. When I was a young woman, guys would step right in front of me to ask me my name, or for my phone number (pre-internet days, so no email), or give me _their_ number, etc. I may have been flaunting my “insane rockin bod,” (and it was-plus my grandmother’s Swedish heritage gave me insanely beautiful golden blonde hair) but mostly it was a reflection of the era: mini-skirts, hot-pants, and other minimalist clothing. And it made me insane! I took to saying “Leave me alone-I need to be at my desk in five minutes” even if I had a leisurely 15 minutes. When hems came down, I was relieved…but even then, it didn’t stop until I was finally middle-aged and my hair turned into a dowdy light brown and my face had finally accrued some creases. Now that I’m approaching 70, I’m so glad that I’m basically invisible!
Wow yes, she had a stunning sexy figure. She had that character that would come on to men, a 'floozy' who's sexual advances, gyrations were so obscene and silly it turned the men right off. The problem is... she actually did have a smoking hot sexy body making the whole skit unbelievable.
Cheri Oteri, along with Ratchel Dratch, were both extremely talented sketch players, and absolutely killed every role on SNL. But unfortunately post-SNL neither seemed to have gotten a role that would show off their abilities afterwards. I still recall Rachel appearing in the S7E5 episode of "Portlandia" (as an old foreign woman Fred Armisen gets an arranged marriage with) and in a few minutes of her appearance, Dratch made the episode absolutely hilarious.

To be honest, I don't care about their politics or stuff like that, the one person who I feel I would not want to end up hanging around the most: Chevy Chase. I even ran into Dan Akroyd at a HOB function I was co-producing and someone asked him about working with Chevy and his response was a masterful deflection that is summed up best as a very polite "I don't speak about that". And Dan is super nice and easygoing.
I remember the Saturday Night Live book said cast members at the time would say that Eddie Murphy's success went to Joe Piscopo's head. I never thought Piscopo was funny, but Eddie is hilarious. He carried that show when he was on.
I'm not a fan of Garofolo but she's 100% correct in stating that Sandlers comedy is childish. He's worthless without a guitar or his constant screaming.
Which has had more success and a larger fan base and more longevity in the business? There ya go. Sandler knows who he is and he knows his lane. He found a niche style and audience and its proven to be very successful for him... whether you like his movies or not. And having worked on one of his movies, the guy is as nice they come and to everyone and goes out of his way to make sure he says hello or acknowledges you no matter who they are. Hes down to earth and just a good guy. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who has anything bad to say about him. And what about Garofolo? Whats she doing right now? Who even remembers her? Thats what I thought.
There was an incident in the hall at SNL w/Murray and Chase and poor Harold Ramis had to come to a solution on the set of Caddyshack when the $$ investors demanded a scene with the 2 big stars. Thankfully Harold and Bill and Chevy got it together for that 1 scene with Chevy and the demented greenskeeper Bill. Or it just wouldn't be the same.
Yeah. But listening to them talk about it, can understand the thinking. Carrey was Robin Williams level of individual genius and anarchic. In Living Colour suited him much better in allowing him a lot of single focus skits. He would have absolutely eaten everyone else alive on SNL.
She was pretty good in The Truth About Cats & Dogs, but it was really more of a humorous role with some drama mixed in. That's about the only time I liked her.
Morgan just comes off as oddly professional considering his image. He's right about the Fallon stuff, and he was called a hard worker by castmates on both shows. I hate that kattan and oteri ended up being the way they were, I really loved those 2. Especially with Will Ferrel
She was never really that funny she was just sort of a 90s Feminist comedian who got pushed because she had a routine calling out sexism on Beverly Hills 90210.
She was a prominent SNL player and that was during a 90s golden era SNL. Maybe you don't remember her because she was among a very memorable cast and usually played 'secondary' roles and I don't know that she was there fore more than 1 or 2 seasons. Do you remember anyone else from those seasons?

Most of her contributions to 90s pop culture were romantic/comedy films, which admittedly were very good. Not really a knock Gottfried is one of my favorite stand ups and his tenure on SNL was ... well he didnt play well with that particular crew.
Tracey Morgan is an insult to comedy. I genuinely don't know why he is as successful as he is, he must have been one of those who took the deal Katt Williams didn't because there's no way he deserves to be where he is.
To those people calling SNL male stars jerks, they were all pimps, the kings of television when it meant something. I don't begrudge them anything. They made me, as a kid, feel part of something cool when I couldn't be cool to save my life, entertained me and opened my mind, and gave me the incentive to be something other than a bootlicking company man. I thank them for what they did.
My favourites over the years are Chris Farley, Al Franken, Vanessa Bayer, Norm McDonald, Tim Meadows, Kevin Nealon, Cheri Oteri, Rob Schneider, Molly Shannon, Kristen Wiig, but for me, the greatest was Phil Hartman. Always Phil Hartman. Genius.

I think Norm is not for everyone, he has a very specific kind of humour but for those who love him, they are obsessed with him and his work. He once said comedy is surprise, so if you try to make someone laugh and they dont, thats funny. He really only cared for what he found funny and perfected it. Not to mention his sardonic smile and sharp wit, even if he was talking about smth horrible you could take it because of his idiot persona. Humour aside, he is the best talk show guest of all time with how trolls the talk show format
I think Fallon broke character once and realized that audiences found that amusing (because it wasn’t common) and then he simply decided to laugh during sketches as if it was real, only grab more attention.
It was definitely an attention thing with Jimmy. Audiences love when the actors break for real and have to struggle to hold in their laughter and not smile. When someone does it every sketch, it loses its magic. You've got to think that someone who would even try to be a comedian or tryout for SNL would love attention. Jimmy was probably almost addicted to it and would do anything to get it.
She also rightfully called Larry Flynt a pedophile right to his face when they appeared on Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect" back when it was on ABC... Cheers to her!
Fallon’s lack of control during a sketch continued with his talk show. He’s so talented but he doesn’t need to suck up to every media personality that he has on the show. Maybe he’s trying to take the shine off others by making his laugh the center of attention. He’s definitely the most insecure celeb I’ve ever seen.
and the way he sucks up is even more annoying because he says the EXACT same thing to everyone,"There ya go! That's how you do it!"....and for someone who was on an sketch show, he always steps on other people's jokes or messes them up. Comedians who he interviews will say something sarcastic and he'll be like, "Nooo no, you can't say that" or something else to kill the joke, instead of adding on to it, or making it banter like Conan would do.
I remember Chase was the star in the first season probably helped that he was good looking but fame went to his head and he really wasn't a movie star. Dan acktoyd and Belushi were a great team. I say good riddance to Chase he's a phoney.
There is a pattern here. Famous people tend to be petty, selfish, envious and vindictive. They manipulate, lie and scheme against each other. Success can only be reached by those who can outlast all of the mistreatment by fellow celebs long enough to score a bigger role somewhere else. What a pathetic existence. Fame is stupid.
No and all of that is just the most silly thing someone outside that world might believe. You'd find, in their circles, no more and no less than at your secretary job, your muffler repair shop, your factory and any other field in the world. As a broad rule, nearly the opposite of what you've descrbed makes or breaks success: people who are pricks, who throw others under the bus, who cheat, these people will lose out. Those who stay gracious and humble will win more success. Of course the ultimate success tests remains selling tickets. Something else you'd probably believe is they are all shallow people who need 'attention' to feel good. Those people exist (like among your fellow secretaries or gas and oil workers or staff anywhere) but find me a celebrity who's done well enough to become famous and almost without exception they have very little interest in the 'famous' part of things. It's nearly necessary to get and stay 'famous' to be a type who does not have much interest in that kind of attention and handles it as a professional and friendly part of their job even if they themselves would rather not be famous outside the career opportunities it comes with.
I'll never understand Jimmy Fallon being so popular. He wasn't funny then and he's still not funny. The whole giggling thing was just annoying and fake.

I had no idea just how many actors came and went on that show. I watched it when it began, even though I was a kid, all the other kids talked about was SNL (we called it by its full name) and Rosanne Rosannadanna. We had to watch it just for her. So I would try to stay up to watch it. But then that was it. Occasionally I would stop by and watch Eddie Murphy do his Mr. Rogers neighborhood and Little Richard Simmons but that was pretty much it. I had no idea Jeannine Garafalo was ever on that show, she doesn't seem funny at all to me, but, whatever. Interesting. Oh, and I always heard bad things about Chevy Chase.
I think that you're trying to say the verse is saying men can give birth, I'm assuming because of a "transgender' ideology. Jeremiah 30:6 is saying "can a man give birth?", with the rhetorical answer being no, and then it's saying "so why then are there men doubled over with their hands on their loins AS a woman in childbirth?" "As" and "like" are tip offs that it's a simile, as in it's like something, but not is something. Such as the phrase "stubborn as a mule" or "hungry as a horse". It's drawing a comparision. Likewise doubled over "as a woman in childbirth" So these men are acting like they're experiencing pregnancy pain. And why are they acting like this? Because this is a prophecy of the time of Jacob's Distress, otherwise known as the great and terrible day of the Lord which we read about in Revelation, Malachi, and Daniel just to name a few places. It's the day prophecised about all over the old testament and several times in the New testament about when the Lord Jesus comes back which will be a terrifying day for all unbelievers. It's the day that in Revelation it says the kings of the earth hide themselves in caves and wish that the mountains would fall on them and bury them to hide them from what's happening. For all who have not placed their trust and faith in Jesus Christ this is a fearful day that is of Jesus coming back in wrath and judgement that precedes the eternal judgement of hell for sins, but you do not have to face that day, or the great white throne judgement for your sins if you place your faith in Jesus for him dying for your sins. He loves you and He wants you to come to know Him, and He wishes none to perish as He says in His word, but He is a holy and righteous God and cannot leave sin unpunished. So the only choice is to meet God as your Lord and savior or as your judge and I beg that you meet Him while you can as your Lord and savior.
I never found Chevy's pratfalls and prop comedy schtick funny.. Growing up in Chicago, of course loved the Vacation movies. I thought he was good in that, but anything SNL to me was lame. It's probably because i'm younger and Chris Farley was more my time, and NO ONE did it as good a Chris.. 🙌
At least we have these fools trying to entertain us. So what if they fail. I lived in Cincinnati when Jerry Springer was the actual mayor, and I remember thinking, "Now I live in an actual 'Twilight Zone' episode." So entertainers try to save us from the horrors of reality.

I’m really not interested in whatever they are pushing. And I rolled 5 feet to the bread section. And these 2 freaks approach AGAIN. The 3rd time within a 20 minute shopping trip. And I asked are you 2 suffering from a brain injury??? They looked shocked and shook their heads no. And I asked are Autistic? Again shook their heads no!!! Then I asked are you mentally disabled? And they said no. And then I said oh so you’re just STUPID. And they practically ran for the door to leave the store. My son watched me from the counter. And laughed because he could see I had full control over the situation. Being polite didn’t work with them. Being blunt didn’t work with them. Being straight up rude was the only way to get my point to leave me alone. I don’t like being mean. But when people refuse to hear me. Then I’m left with no choice to get them to walk away. After I paid the bill. We left and saw them at the stop light. Thankfully they didn’t even look in our direction.

When we look in the mirror and see 40 trillion cells all working together in a collection of organs that make up the organism that our souls occupy, and each cell being as complex as a miniature New York City, with up to 100 million molecular machines inside of them, and us having more machines in the tip of one of our fingers than all of the machines created by human beings thought all of history, I think the obvious delusion would be to take God out of the equation. But fair enough, if people prefer to hold onto their delusion of no God, that's their prerogative. I still think it's noble to attempt to shed the light of truth into the lives of those who have poisoned their minds with obvious lies. It is indeed noble to try to help someone in the biggest and most profound way possible. It's also important to allow moral agents to make their own choices and to respect that agency in their souls to choose as they would.
Certainly didn't belong in the workplace. When my infant daughter died, a co-worker told me she was in limbo because I didn't belong to her religion. I can see Victoria doing something like that. Irritatingly patronizing.
Night at the Roxbury is a totally underrated movie. They should do another one now with them being old, although it would be a drama more than a comedy, and prob sad as phuck.
I loved Chris Kattan. He had a car accident or something and was injured badly and then got addicted to the pain meds. I think he’s sober now but he was away for so many years idk if they’ll let him in.
We LOVED Chris Rock's insanely funny politically INCORRECT humor, especially when he poked fun at his own race! No way he can do that now and I've noticed that a number of his sketches are either edited or no longer available!
I never found Fallon funny, even to this day. At a Universal Studios tour I had to endure a canned guide video starring him and I wanted to rip that monitor off it's mounting. And Victoria pushing her religion on coworkers is muy no beueno. It violates the rule "thou shalt keep thy religion to thyself".
Norm Macdonald was one of the funniest guys ever... that and the fact that he was Canadian and a member of one of my favourite shows- The Fairly Oddparents,- made him one of the best SNL weekend update hosts of all time.
Comedy is like music; it is very individual. Some people love a certain comedian, others dislike them. You're going to have ALL of us watching. Some who made it big I loved, or didn't like at all. I can imagine that's a pretty fierce battleground at times. I ish comedians could work on doing things TOGETHER more than they work on competition. I love shows that require all of them to act off the others. It brings out the best in all of them.
There is no category of people on the planet as nasty to each other as comics. Comics and TV comedy writers are absolutely brutal. They are among the most insecure people alive, consequently, when they have success they almost instantly become absolutely insufferable narcissists, and if they don’t have success, or not as much as they want, they become bitter and petty like no one else. There are exceptions, but in general, they are awful to each other. They don’t necessarily treat other people badly, but I have never seen bullying and outright cruelty like I’ve seen it among comics and especially comedy writers, and I’ve had a wide experience of workplaces.
Chris Kattan is extremely talented I think, he melts into every role, and that's why I read his autobiography... but his head is in the wrong place re. social matters. "Does not play well with others", he's thought of as a braggart, slightly obnoxious, often arrogant, and patronizing to other actors.

I don't see a lot of brilliance in Belushi. He was a good actor and his one character, this kind of disheveled disengaged jerk character was good but not a lot more.
I didn't find Belushi as one dimensional. I think Neighbors is an underrated movie and he's great in that. Also see Continental Divide. He definitely had range. He died before we could see the possible projects he would've done.
Victoria Jackson gives people an audio version of the Bible during Christmas, and they have a problem with it? Not really a big deal in my opinion. It is fricking Christmas.
taking anything kattan says is problematic. he constantly changes his story and always in an effort to make himself look better. if anything, he has reenforced the criticism that's been leveled against him through the years just in how he has responded and changed his story constantly.
Jimmy Fallon delivers pathetically poor monologues as a Tonight Show host. Either his writing staff lacks an authentic comedic sense, or Jimmy Fallon lacks authentic comedic timing. Either way hardly matters really, for many people like him succeed for being shallow in the entertainment industry.

That's what I heard too, but I've heard even more about Chevy Chase being a very hated, I hadn't heard anything about Belushi being a jerk to women.
I haven’t heard anything about him being prickly. I heard that he definitely enjoys doing whatever he thinks sounds fun after work, like flying to Indiana for a Notre Dame game before the playoffs. Then a week later flying to Barcelona for a dinner reservation with some friends. And when they were filming St Vincent Bill had finished his last scene for the week and he left to fly to some fancy golf course. He invited Melissa McCarthy to come join him since she mentioned she liked golf. She turned him down because her husband was bringing her kids for a visit. He never invited her again. But he is always a professional when he’s working. And I’ve heard about all the tabs he’s paid for people in restaurants. Like a Dad and his little boy. They were sitting a few tables away and the Dad got with the kid to take them to the bathroom. And as they walked past Bill the boy said he’s a ghost buster. And after they were on their way back to their table Bill made small talk and of course made the kid free special. As Bill was leaving and the Dad and kid were finishing their meal. The waitress came out with a HUGE vanilla sundae and a tray of a few different sauces and a bunch of different toppings. And said I have to go would you fellas mind eating this for me. They accept it and before he left he paid their tab. Or the couple who had just gotten married. The Bill was in the area and he photo bombed them. They invited him to join them and he did. He danced with the bride and did shots with the groom. Then he scribbled a note as he was sneaking off and he wrote them a personalized note thank you note and gave them a grand. None of that sounds prickly to me.
Murray at least seems to have more substance, whatever he's exuding at the time.

I understand he's had certain problems that are really no secret, like the old glug-glug i.e. booze, and that will sure as hell make a man moody...also he's pushing 80 or something now. I'd hope to see Bill Murray in at least one more great movie or at the very least, several more guest host spots on SNL, he's a great comedy talent one of the best ever -

He never felt authentic in any of his scenes / movies. Sure, he could be funny, but that was 95% the writing, and 5% chase just being deadpan stupid. I have the same impression of Bill Murry; same cringe seriousness while trying to be comedic that just comes off as snobby and immature.
I thought he was frequently hilarious but as his comedy slowly got worse and his personal behavior made it to the public eye he became easy to ignore.

You just don't see women stand up, and they're generally side characters in any production. I can think of very few "celebrity" .. as Tracy would put it... women that I've ever found funny. They can certainly deliver some funny jokes .. but that's the writers pulling their weight. I've never thought " OH! It's _____ ! I need to see what they're doing!" Roseanne Barr is probably the only one I've ever come close to that. She's genuinely witty. even if her brain rotted with age and she went nazi.

I’ve known many witty funny women in real life, but for whatever reason they don’t seem to raise to the level of hilarity as men as often especially in standup (many women are good comedic actors). At the end of the day, I do think the super rare top level of comedic genius seems lacking in women for some reason, and I’m not exactly sure why but probably some confluence of factors, and I wouldn’t say it’s thus necessarily impossible for women to reach that uber elite level.

Rest In Peace, Charles Rocket. He was incredibly funny when he guest-starred on a "Moonlighting" episode, portraying Bruce Willis' character's brother, "Richard Addison." Best Episode: "Brother, Can You Spare A Blonde."
My favorite cast members are the entire original cast with Akyroyd, Belushi, Chase, Murray, Morris, Curtain, Radner and Newman. They used to have small skits that were spoofs of commercials. Very funny. One in particular I remember is from season 2, I think. It's a parody of the old "Perrier" bottled water commercial. The product was called "Swill" and it's bottled straight from the east river in NYC. Great stuff.

I used to filter my dates based on whether they found Sandler hilarious. It was OK if they didn't like him or thought he was childishly funny, but a lot of women back then though he was comedy gold: I knew they were too dumb to take seriously

When I was a young woman, guys would step right in front of me to ask me my name, or for my phone number (pre-internet days, so no email), or give me _their_ number, etc. I may have been flaunting my “insane rockin bod,” (and it was-plus my grandmother’s Swedish heritage gave me insanely beautiful golden blonde hair) but mostly it was a reflection of the era: mini-skirts, hot-pants, and other minimalist clothing. And it made me insane! I took to saying “Leave me alone-I need to be at my desk in five minutes” even if I had a leisurely 15 minutes. When hems came down, I was relieved…but even then, it didn’t stop until I was finally middle-aged and my hair turned into a dowdy light brown and my face had finally accrued some creases. Now that I’m approaching 70, I’m so glad that I’m basically invisible!

Wow yes, she had a stunning sexy figure. She had that character that would come on to men, a 'floozy' who's sexual advances, gyrations were so obscene and silly it turned the men right off. The problem is... she actually did have a smoking hot sexy body making the whole skit unbelievable.
Cheri Oteri, along with Ratchel Dratch, were both extremely talented sketch players, and absolutely killed every role on SNL. But unfortunately post-SNL neither seemed to have gotten a role that would show off their abilities afterwards. I still recall Rachel appearing in the S7E5 episode of "Portlandia" (as an old foreign woman Fred Armisen gets an arranged marriage with) and in a few minutes of her appearance, Dratch made the episode absolutely hilarious.

To be honest, I don't care about their politics or stuff like that, the one person who I feel I would not want to end up hanging around the most: Chevy Chase. I even ran into Dan Akroyd at a HOB function I was co-producing and someone asked him about working with Chevy and his response was a masterful deflection that is summed up best as a very polite "I don't speak about that". And Dan is super nice and easygoing.
Dan and John were my favorite from the original cast.

He found a niche style and audience and its proven to be very successful for him... whether you like his movies or not. And having worked on one of his movies, the guy is as nice they come and to everyone and goes out of his way to make sure he says hello or acknowledges you no matter who they are. Hes down to earth and just a good guy. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who has anything bad to say about him. And what about Garofolo? Whats she doing right now? Who even remembers her? Thats what I thought.

There was an incident in the hall at SNL w/Murray and Chase and poor Harold Ramis had to come to a solution on the set of Caddyshack when the $$ investors demanded a scene with the 2 big stars. Thankfully Harold and Bill and Chevy got it together for that 1 scene with Chevy and the demented greenskeeper Bill. Or it just wouldn't be the same.

Most of her contributions to 90s pop culture were romantic/comedy films, which admittedly were very good. I think Fallon broke character once and realized that audiences found that amusing (because it wasn’t common) and then he simply decided to laugh during sketches as if it was real, only grab more attention.
It was definitely an attention thing with Jimmy. Audiences love when the actors break for real and have to struggle to hold in their laughter and not smile. When someone does it every sketch, it loses its magic. You've got to think that someone who would even try to be a comedian or tryout for SNL would love attention. Jimmy was probably almost addicted to it and would do anything to get it.

Fallon’s lack of control during a sketch continued with his talk show. He’s so talented but he doesn’t need to suck up to every media personality that he has on the show. Maybe he’s trying to take the shine off others by making his laugh the center of attention. He’s definitely the most insecure celeb I’ve ever seen.
and the way he sucks up is even more annoying because he says the EXACT same thing to everyone,"There ya go! That's how you do it!"....and for someone who was on an sketch show, he always steps on other people's jokes or messes them up. Comedians who he interviews will say something sarcastic and he'll be like, "Nooo no, you can't say that" or something else to kill the joke, instead of adding on to it, or making it banter like Conan would do.

There is a pattern here. Famous people tend to be petty, selfish, envious and vindictive. They manipulate, lie and scheme against each other. Success can only be reached by those who can outlast all of the mistreatment by fellow celebs long enough to score a bigger role somewhere else. What a pathetic existence. Fame is stupid.
No and all of that is just the most silly thing someone outside that world might believe. You'd find, in their circles, no more and no less than at your secretary job, your muffler repair shop, your factory and any other field in the world.
As a broad rule, nearly the opposite of what you've descrbed makes or breaks success: people who are pricks, who throw others under the bus, who cheat, these people will lose out. Those who stay gracious and humble will win more success.
Of course the ultimate success tests remains selling tickets.
Something else you'd probably believe is they are all shallow people who need 'attention' to feel good. Those people exist (like among your fellow secretaries or gas and oil workers or staff anywhere) but find me a celebrity who's done well enough to become famous and almost without exception they have very little interest in the 'famous' part of things. It's nearly necessary to get and stay 'famous' to be a type who does not have much interest in that kind of attention and handles it as a professional and friendly part of their job even if they themselves would rather not be famous outside the career opportunities it comes with.

I had no idea just how many actors came and went on that show. I watched it when it began, even though I was a kid, all the other kids talked about was SNL (we called it by its full name) and Rosanne Rosannadanna. We had to watch it just for her. So I would try to stay up to watch it. But then that was it. Occasionally I would stop by and watch Eddie Murphy do his Mr. Rogers neighborhood and Little Richard Simmons but that was pretty much it. I had no idea Jeannine Garafalo was ever on that show, she doesn't seem funny at all to me, but, whatever. Interesting. Oh, and I always heard bad things about Chevy Chase.

So these men are acting like they're experiencing pregnancy pain. And why are they acting like this? Because this is a prophecy of the time of Jacob's Distress, otherwise known as the great and terrible day of the Lord which we read about in Revelation, Malachi, and Daniel just to name a few places.
It's the day prophecised about all over the old testament and several times in the New testament about when the Lord Jesus comes back which will be a terrifying day for all unbelievers.
It's the day that in Revelation it says the kings of the earth hide themselves in caves and wish that the mountains would fall on them and bury them to hide them from what's happening.
For all who have not placed their trust and faith in Jesus Christ this is a fearful day that is of Jesus coming back in wrath and judgement that precedes the eternal judgement of hell for sins, but you do not have to face that day, or the great white throne judgement for your sins if you place your faith in Jesus for him dying for your sins. He loves you and He wants you to come to know Him, and He wishes none to perish as He says in His word, but He is a holy and righteous God and cannot leave sin unpunished.
So the only choice is to meet God as your Lord and savior or as your judge and I beg that you meet Him while you can as your Lord and savior.

And these 2 freaks approach AGAIN. The 3rd time within a 20 minute shopping trip. And I asked are you 2 suffering from a brain injury??? They looked shocked and shook their heads no. And I asked are Autistic? Again shook their heads no!!! Then I asked are you mentally disabled? And they said no. And then I said oh so you’re just STUPID. And they practically ran for the door to leave the store. My son watched me from the counter. And laughed because he could see I had full control over the situation. Being polite didn’t work with them. Being blunt didn’t work with them. Being straight up rude was the only way to get my point to leave me alone. I don’t like being mean. But when people refuse to hear me. Then I’m left with no choice to get them to walk away. After I paid the bill. We left and saw them at the stop light. Thankfully they didn’t even look in our direction.

When we look in the mirror and see 40 trillion cells all working together in a collection of organs that make up the organism that our souls occupy, and each cell being as complex as a miniature New York City, with up to 100 million molecular machines inside of them, and us having more machines in the tip of one of our fingers than all of the machines created by human beings thought all of history, I think the obvious delusion would be to take God out of the equation.
But fair enough, if people prefer to hold onto their delusion of no God, that's their prerogative. I still think it's noble to attempt to shed the light of truth into the lives of those who have poisoned their minds with obvious lies. It is indeed noble to try to help someone in the biggest and most profound way possible. It's also important to allow moral agents to make their own choices and to respect that agency in their souls to choose as they would.
Certainly didn't belong in the workplace. When my infant daughter died, a co-worker told me she was in limbo because I didn't belong to her religion. I can see Victoria doing something like that. Irritatingly patronizing.
Night at the Roxbury is a totally underrated movie. They should do another one now with them being old, although it would be a drama more than a comedy, and prob sad as phuck.
I loved Chris Kattan. He had a car accident or something and was injured badly and then got addicted to the pain meds. I think he’s sober now but he was away for so many years idk if they’ll let him in.

I never found Fallon funny, even to this day. At a Universal Studios tour I had to endure a canned guide video starring him and I wanted to rip that monitor off it's mounting. And Victoria pushing her religion on coworkers is muy no beueno. It violates the rule "thou shalt keep thy religion to thyself".
Norm Macdonald was one of the funniest guys ever... that and the fact that he was Canadian and a member of one of my favourite shows- The Fairly Oddparents,- made him one of the best SNL weekend update hosts of all time.

Comedy is like music; it is very individual. Some people love a certain comedian, others dislike them. You're going to have ALL of us watching. Some who made it big I loved, or didn't like at all. I can imagine that's a pretty fierce battleground at times. I ish comedians could work on doing things TOGETHER more than they work on competition. I love shows that require all of them to act off the others. It brings out the best in all of them.
There is no category of people on the planet as nasty to each other as comics. Comics and TV comedy writers are absolutely brutal. They are among the most insecure people alive, consequently, when they have success they almost instantly become absolutely insufferable narcissists, and if they don’t have success, or not as much as they want, they become bitter and petty like no one else. There are exceptions, but in general, they are awful to each other. They don’t necessarily treat other people badly, but I have never seen bullying and outright cruelty like I’ve seen it among comics and especially comedy writers, and I’ve had a wide experience of workplaces.
Kattan took off his shoes and when he woke up Norm stole them. God, just when I thought I couldn't love Norm anymore
I never found Kattan funny. Norm on the other hand…….legend.
Chris Kattan is extremely talented I think, he melts into every role, and that's why I read his autobiography... but his head is in the wrong place re. social matters. "Does not play well with others", he's thought of as a braggart, slightly obnoxious, often arrogant, and patronizing to other actors.

I didn't find Belushi as one dimensional. I think Neighbors is an underrated movie and he's great in that. Also see Continental Divide. He definitely had range. He died before we could see the possible projects he would've done.

Jimmy Fallon delivers pathetically poor monologues as a Tonight Show host. Either his writing staff lacks an authentic comedic sense, or Jimmy Fallon lacks authentic comedic timing. Either way hardly matters really, for many people like him succeed for being shallow in the entertainment industry.
