- The steps for sanitizing and dewinterizing are nearly identical. I have a late summer so I'm dewinterizing my tanks but also sanitizing for the season. Followed Thor recommended steps and the recommended dose of 1/4 bleach for every 15 gallons. Also bought new filters to help keep system clean for the season. I don't drink the water from the system so I use hoses that are convenient, but I will link to hoses that are marked safe for drinking.
10 inch filter that goes in housing doesn't seem to be available from package directions. It appears to be a generic for a standard 10 inch filter housing. I will need to order a replacement and make sure it works. I will probably try Camco's but will add link when I know it fits.

I am greatfull I don't have to winterize my rig, but nice to know how to if I ever needed. I am curious, have you ever used the inside shower? I still haven't figured out how to use the hot water recycle valve thing and hot water indicator when using the shower , but maybe mine just doesn't work. But also I have never really used the inside shower, usually just use the outside one.
I haven’t used it. My shower miser control knob is reversed though. I noticed that when turned to what I thought was not recirculate, my water pump just kept running and making a slurp sound. Turned the opposite and it quit. In orientation it took a long time for the blue indicator to turn slightly white/grey. And it was not super obvious when changing color. In all honesty, since orientation, I have just left my water heater bypassed. Less areas to winterize and I don’t need hot water anyway.
@@jtbrv23 ok so it’s not just me then. Good to know.
