I just spent a few weeks in Prague then a few weeks in Munich last month, trying different classic/traditional beers each night. It may have been luck of the draw, but every Czech beer blew German beer out of the water in my opinion. No comparison Czech Republic had the better brews
I'm an Asian Czech student currently living in Australia :D. I've lived in Prague almost my whole life. This video makes me miss the country so much (definitely the beers :D)! Karl's Bath (Karlovy Vary) is also a very beautiful small city for relaxing. Czech countrysides are very charming with occasional old castles and castle ruins scattered in the background. Nature absolutely breathtaking (+ no dangerous animals). Too bad we don't have access to an ocean or sea. Most Czechs travel to Croatia or Spain (hurray to open borders!). Hope you enjoy your stay!
Glad we could remind you how awesome your home is! Your fam is from Vietnam? (guessing based on your VN channel name), we spent 3 months living in Vietnam ❤️ua-cam.com/video/n0bPiMEELGo/v-deo.html
Daneger and Stacey, basically all "Asian Czechs" are from Vietnam, because of the history of Cold war era and the Czechoslovakia being part of Warsaw pact and US army destroying their home by things like napalm and Agent Orange. :P
Daneger and Stacey Well, it's close now that I live in Australia. I plan to travel there as soon as I finish my degree. But thanks for the inspiration!
Having kozel for THE first time, great taste, only 3.8 abv, which makes it even better in My opinion. Czheck beer is really in a league of its own, tried Five brands so far and theyve all been top notch. Impressive country i must say.
@@JohnSmith-hk1lx Budwar is more "herby" / hopsy tasting beer (same goes to Staropramen imo) than Urquell. Try Kozel or Svijany my fav popular brands of beer, also Permon has IPAs, pilsners and high percentage and/or flavoured craft beers. Beer is like sex, even a bad one(usually) is a good one. Cheers!
@@rudolfkratky36 I think that the Budvar 33 is more hoppy, but as an all year beer PU is for me a more balanced and better suited than Budvar. But I guess it is a matter of taste. One of my favorites is Hubertus from Kacov. As good as PU and about 40% cheaper. Kozel and Svijany is very good too. Thanks for tipping me about Permon. Will try next time I'm in Czech Rep. Na Zdravi. But I'm not a big fan over IPA's, PA's and so on.
Honestly you two do just fantastic content, as a traveler we appreciate how much work you two put in to make content and provide awesome information to enrich our own travels. Thank you both!
Hi guys, Prague guy here, just watched your Prague vlogs and they are really cool! There is a really cool music/theater festival going on this weekend, called Mezi ploty. It happens in the area of the Prague psychiatric ward called Bohnice. It is aimed at tearing down prejudices about mental health and some of the best Czech bands play there!
Cheers!! Shoutout from Budweis, Czech Republic. You should come here to the south and do a tour of our town brewery (Budejovicky Budvar) if you have the chance. Great vlogs.
Hey guys, you keep posting new videos from Prague. If you’re still here, you should definitely visit the Prague Zoo. It’s actually one of the top zoos in the world, and there’s a lot to see. Even a full day may not be enough to see everything. Cheers!
Very interesting honey beer at 7:56. I really like mead which is honey wine, so I gotta try it. Fun fact - honey is naturally antibacterial, but does not hinder fermentation because yeast is a fungus.
Really interesting vlog guys! Fantastic range of beers available there in Prague (we have great variety here in UK too, but less emphasis on pilsner). As my brother has often said "Beer is good. I consume beer, therefore I am good!" looking forward to the Poland vlogs.
Mate! You guys were steaming at the end😂. As a Prague veteran I concur. The centre is for sight seeing only. Karlin and Zizkov for eats and especially drinks👍
Hi there, go to Klamovka, just 5 minutes from your prague apartment, there is a restaurant in a nice park. Try the perfect Pilsner 🍻 And you definitely must go to Vyšehrad, it is a very romantic place ♥ Enjoy Prague as much as you can!
I've tried many types of beer but I've always returned to the Czech Pilsner. Its taste is simple and that's it. It's like with steaks - all you need is salt and pepper to make a good one.
Definitely the 50% one hahah, naaawwwt. We like the middle ground summery sort of pilsners, and the last IPA tasting one was nice as well! Poland vlog will be up in a few hours!
Funy thing is that considering the beer you just scratch the surface. So freaking lot of beer is made in Czech Republic not even us (Czech guys) can try it all out :)
The roasted ones have a really distinct flavour! We were actually surprised, all of these spots smelt amazing, like malt and beer - not like a stinky pub haha
Hi, thank you for cheering videos of my coutry's capital! :-) I am really proud on our beer culture, but we have also great tea subculture. Just type tea room or czech word "čajovna" and praha to google. actually, in czech republic we have maybe largest tea room subculture in europe, because you can find tearoom nearly in every bigger town in Czech republic. If you still have some time to enjoy tea, waterpipe and cozy places just try one. In many cases it is like having a chat in some yoga junkie's living room. My honest recommendations: čajovna Šamanka čajovna Na cestě čajovna Buddha or any of Dobrá čajovna franchises (yes, there is even tea room franchise) Or if you are now lacking time, consider it as a tip for sometimes next visit - like, "alternative wiew on Prague" Have a good luck on your trip and enjoy...
Catching up on all your vlogs, just got back from Beijing. I wish I liked beer, but the taste of it makes me gag 😂😂 in saying that it looked like a whole lot of fun so I'd definitely give it a go. 👍 PS. Was the slow-mo of the song @ the end due to the number of beers consumed during editing? 😂

I get that, but NZ accent sounds so funny to me because of that ever since watching the appendices on LoTR DVD's back in the day. :-) And thats's Jackson and the Weta guys, not talking about "Czichs" so often. :-)
I am not a beer guy. But, I watched and enjoyed your vlog because of the two of you. I learned something about beer and enjoyed very much, the way you present things. You have such a matter-of-fact way of describing your experiences. And, that is a very good thing. You describe things on your vlogs as though you are talking to family, or old friends. I like that. You're not all hype and like OMG! THIS IS THE BEST..... Thank you. I listen and watch more closely because you genuinely care. Keep sharing and thanks again.
+DDIII3 That's such amazing feedback, thank you. We know exactly what you mean about the over the top stuff - we see other UA-camrs doing it and we cringe. Why? It's just not us at all, we're just raw and natural, this is what we're like and its always nice to hear someone say they can recognise that. Thanks for watching along with our journey.
Pilsner is actually one of the worse beers in my opinion, i don't know why it's so famous. There are cheaper beers which taste much better, like Kozel, Staropramen or Poutník

Second that although you have already moved on to Poland

hi, enjoy your stay in Prague :)
for the authentic czech pub experience, you should try to strawl a little off the city center tho

Even though I haven't tried beer in my life (im too young) it looks really delicious
When you're old enough this is the way to quickly find out what type you like!
Please never smoke , just beer is enough. 😉
Funy thing is that considering the beer you just scratch the surface. So freaking lot of beer is made in Czech Republic not even us (Czech guys) can try it all out :)
So interesting, Im not a beer person but i dig this vlog... i think i’d go for the dark roasted one 🍺🍺🍺
Cobblestones, caricatures and i wonder how it smells inside these breweries...beer feels!
The roasted ones have a really distinct flavour! We were actually surprised, all of these spots smelt amazing, like malt and beer - not like a stinky pub haha
Wow!! I remember Guinness beer, dark and just right...did it taste like that?
Not that dark actually, lighter in flavour than that but probably somewhere in between a 'normal beer taste' and Guiness :)
I wish I can win a free round trip tour to this awsome beer tour. Looks cool to go there.
We hope you can as well!
So, did you get wasted at all? Is the beer strong...or you drink alcohol-free beer? Lovin' the vibe of the city :)
Most of the beer is 5% plus alcohol! So yeah, we tasted a lot, and we got very very happy haha
