As a certified Florida Man myself, I love how none of these are surprising compared to the local stuff. A local mayor was sentenced a few years ago for shooting at the SWAT team raiding his house. Why were they raiding his house? He was practicing medicine without a license, in his garage. When he got arrested, he used the jail phone to call the now-acting-mayor and asked him to investigate the cops who investigated him. That mayor got charged a month later.
The tier list should've been looked at as like, what's the most crazy. Because at the end of the day, that's the definition of Florida man. Crazy. So the thing you can see yourself least likely to try/do, the higher it goes on the list
I mean: breaking into a house, sucking toes, throwing the toe owner out the house, and vanishing to forever be a threat to Florida IS the most insane thing I have ever heard of.
Fun fact for anyone interested, Florida has the strongest public record laws in the United States. This means that all crime data and reports are very transparent, and so reporting on wacky crimes is much more prevelant and public facing. So don't think that just bc you're in a different state than Florida, that your state is clean. Your state probably just has laws that allows for brushing this stories under the carpet to look clean ;)
Feeding an alligator is dangerous because everytime that alligator sees people he's gonna think they have food and the person will inevitably panic and that could trigger an alligator attack. Shout out to Fishing Garrett for teaching me that 💯

As another Florida man, feeding wild alligators should definitely be illegal. It causes them to no longer fear humans which results on more attacks in the vicinity of humans which is even more dangerous for your pets.
As someone that ruined two vhs tapes of Independence Day watching it with my dad almost every day during summer breaks, it hurts to hear anyone say they haven't seen the movie. Please see it!
