With all those Suplementary Damage and War Elemental being mandatory, It will be so hard for the poeple to even consider being strong. Not everyone have a trainer like you. Good Guide!
That's been my complaint for a long time about gaming. These devs need to get their shit together.... They used to publish game guides that explained everything. Now we're clicking video after video and digging through websites looking for answers for every game. It's like playing russian roulette these days looking for the correct information. I'm tired of wasting my time watching 25,000 20 minute - 2hr long videos for one game. We had published strategy guides available for purchase for RPGS back in my day, indexed, table of contents, etc. It was faster, way faster and concise because the old ways were better. Now it's all a wild goose chase for anything. "Get back to the basics, your menu is shit." like Gordon Ramsey said....
This video might be the one to push me into buying the game. Quite honestly the most detailed build guide I've seen for someone like me who has very little granblue knowledge. Your tier list guide helped me out in that regard as well.
I think whats key here is that theres no way to reliably 1 shot proud mode bosses so utility/survivability is key once a damage threshold is reached. We just don't know what the dmg threshold is right now, all the community has agreed on is that for (most) characters you should run SupDmg 5 (x2-3), war elemental, and DmgCap 5 (x4). Everything else is based on play-style and preference (i.e., charge vs cooldown, auto/instant-revive vs more potions, HP% vs DEF%). Terminus weapons are an after-thought until min-maxing, which is done after getting a comfortable/well-rounded build on your main. Then u use ur main to farm (slimes) for ur alts.
I've found using crit builds with the crit weapons works really well for progression, but having this video to orient a final build to work towards is very helpful thank you.
This was a nice vid overall honestly. Nice explanation on every sigil. I also wanted to point out just in case ppl do not know this yet, that u can use the method youtubers recommend for getting the perfect roll in sigils on the over mastery thingy as well cuz i saw ur over mastery bonuses and this can help u speed things up a lot if u are still trying to min-max ur chart ofc. Basically u can get the 20% cap on both attack and skill dmg using the exact same amount of mastery points, no need for grinding. Save ur game, start spending all ur mastery points, and if u didnt get what u were looking for, restart and do any mission .Hope this can help 😇
Thank you for the video. Recently just got to proud mode and Versa curb stomped me. Currently running a Crit build because over mastery gave me cap ups. Did not realize the Terminus weapons outran ascension so thoroughly. Would love to see another video for the game.
Personally I’ve been using a tank/support Katarina build so I’ve been focused on cooldown to pump out as much group invincibility as possible, I consider this to make up for my own personal dps. But been looking to make a DPS build. Super helpful video.
I've been playing Kat a lot recently, and I also do the same! I'm just lucky enough to have a lot of QC and Cascade on sigils I use, so I'm able to stack those on top of damage for her.
@@asamayomi I think she has a lot of potential to be good as a full DPS also mainly with crit ( her ascension weapon is crit focused) I’m running like 25% QC with a few cascades, 97% crit and some HP stuff. Probably gonna drop the cascade. I haven’t had enough time to work out solid builds yet but focusing on building her this weekend. ATM she’s my one trick pony. Your guide helped give me some ideas for the dps build. Looking forward to more GBFRL content from you.
Excellent video, and I mean spot on! For those coming to the comment section first, please stop what you're doing and watch the entire video. Please don't ask any questions until you finish it, and try it. Please! 😂 I was maybe two more videos watched away from going insane due to the lack of depth and incorrect info being provided. Now, I have five questions for you, Yomi, if you don't mind. Have you tried fighting Gallanza and Maglielle on solo - proud yet? What was your favorite boss fight? What boss fight was the most challenging and why? What would you like to personally see going forward regarding future updates for Relink? And lastly, how long have you been playing Granblue?
Thank you very much for such a detailed video! It helps to really understand how to create your build and not just copy what you are told is "the best".
TIP to gain 2 free sigil slots in your build. 1) Try to get a Wrightstone with lvl 10 Crit chance, lvl 7 DMG cap, lvl 5 dmg cap. giving you lvl 12 dmg cap overall, + Sigil lvl [from Terminus weapon] will give +1 on each dmg cap sigil you wear....so you can get free 15 lvls of dmg cap, and thus removing 1 dmg cap sigil, giving you a free slot. 2) pair your Butterfly's traits into dmg caps. Roll for The two Butterfly's traits with dmg cap as 2nd subtrait, that way you can get rid of the awakening, and get another free sigil slot. NOTE: the number 1 method is mathematically insane to get by normal means, so I would say roll for any dmg cap lvls, even if its lvl 5 and lvl 3 dmg cap on that wrightstone, go for it, sacrifice few % dmg cap for a free sigil slot. Another tip: you can easily hit 100% crit chance by imbuing a lvl 10 crit wrightstone, +20% c.chance from over mastery, and find any of your main orange sigils + paired with crit chance trait, you hit 100% that way.
Hello. Want to point this for you on people, 99% of caractères in this game hit the cap of dmg with combo booster +crit dmg. Basically calculation is : (dmg x crit) × other multiplicator. So its pretty a easy way to hit the cap.
more stuff would be great to see, you have the clearest explanation of the builds so far! and honestly as a gacha player too i’d love videos on the gacha too cuz why not
War Elemental is probably the best sigil in the game but also the worst if you're against an enemy that your character already has superior element against or an enemy that does not have a weakness, then War Elemental is worthless. Also something noteworthy is the .23-.25 increase from superior element ignores the damage cap, so it is extremely important.
yep, that is also the case. I personally just like the tyranny+stam+aegis combo since it's easy for me to slot in due to having the sigils readily available.
@@fredericomiguel5508that is the most recommended dmg setup but they are gotten from curios and hard to get. I have 2 war elemental and 3 sup after hours of farming and I think I’ve been kinda lucky
Good video!!! There is one problem with all these max damage build, your skill damage won't be hitting the max dmg cap. I guess there is no issue or whatsoever to do with the build without Setsuna, cuz most of your dmg would came from the regular infinite switching rotation. However if you use Setsuna, I advise you to go with the max crit+crit dmg+dmg cap build , and add a skill dmg/fast charging sigil, this way you're hitting the max dmg on everything.
I juuuust got to Proud mode today with Naru, and have my Ascension wep upgraded a few times post 150, so I'm slowly getting there. D: I love Naru a lot. Need to work on my Damage Cap sigils + get War Element. I'm glad I was on the money with Stamina/Tyranny. Quick Charge would be good too. I'm glad I won't need to bother with stacking crit rate/crit damage/base attack. That'll save me slots! Whew.
that is some insane luck you've had with + rolls and rare sigils, wow. my build is basically the same but i only have 1 supplemental so I just put in some defensive with Aegis and Improved Dodge 15, which i LOVE.
Some consideration should be given to the stout heart sigil, particularly since it gives defensive bonuses from many characters' defensive mastery tree.
for the defenses part you forgot to mention stout heart. its cracked lol, ignore knockback/knockdown is super nice but the real power is the hidden 25% DR, which stacks multiplicatively with a bunch of other sources like steel nerves, it lets you eat hits from stuff like Proto/Versa Bahamut with only 35k health lol.

And why not a 100% crit chance? I mean thats a multiplier by itself it wouldnt be better with that? Sorry im relatively new in the game and still trying to figure how to build things and what its better for each character
Does supplementary damage sigil stack with other sources of supp like Katalina's Ares sigil or Narm's petal skill?
yes, they stack additively.
She Said lemme teach y'all a lesson 🤭🧮📌
Can someone tell me if the catastrophe stat is it’s own damage cap multiplier or is is it additive with the damage cap sigil for 350% damage cap
The 5dmg cap from terminus counts, but the cap "inside" the catastrophe are separated afaik, not the same trait
If i have a maxed out non terminus weapon how much dmg cap is to much?
did you file edit? It's hard to believe you natural'd all those drops even if you no-lifed the game since its been out
is there any specific way to get supp damage sigils i haven't seen a single one yet or the elemental one is it all lucky on curios?
I got 2 on curios yea but only IV
iI listened to this video to fall asleep
