Idk if you already know about this, but for Exceptional Refinium, you can do this method. 1. Go to Chapter Select 2. select chap. 6 3. At beginning of mission, hit start, return to checkpoint 4. Head far left to rock golem, kill for 3-6 refinium. 5. Abandon 6. Repeat

If you use a rubber band you can have your controller hold down the block button greatly increasing your survivability. Combine this with Improved-block sidgles for near invincibility wile afk.

Thanks for also mentioning useful non-proud missions and where to get some of the V+ Sigils (which is also an interesting information for playing manually). I am currently trying out how the Primal bosses are for a low-end AFK-setup (to get their rare material) and Furycane is the easiest and fastest and Managarmr (due to the room-wide ice-phase) requires a bit more buffer for the tank-character, at least 70k HP, level 20 Garrison and level 20 regen (to avoid landing in critical). Excavallion is probably the most annoying, but I haven't tried that one yet. Also not sure how Angra Mainyu will work out with its phasing in and out.
Ofc! It's good to know, I imagine the ice phase is pretty rough. If you figure out how to AFK Excavallion, lmk because my god, I hate doing that mission

Another awesome guide! You can afk farm Slimepede if you have a controller with a turbo (repeat) or macro feature. On PC, you have several options for repeating or toggling key presses or mouse clicks because there are a variety of apps and devices that can do that for you. Steam even has a built-in turbo feature for controllers, though I wouldn't suggest it for farming because the light attack button also toggles the repeat quest option. I haven't tried afk farming with lancelot though; his infinite dodge is the heavy attack so it may be okay to keep that on turbo. That said, I would still rather watch my team while on Slimepede because the Rainbow Slime's rewards are just too valuable to miss, even if its spawn rate is very low. And yes, if you have some way of enabling turbo plus the Flight Over Fight sigil, Lancelot is a nice main character for semi AFKing i.e. brainlessly tackling Maniac and Proud quests because you can spam his infinite dodge.

I was hard up for Fort crystals and was starting to feel like farming other mats was a drag, this guide helped me get much farther with upgrading my chars since I have a better idea of what to target and how. For me personally, she seems to always outperform him, but I've heard people saying otherwise, so it's likely that the results are very close and depend on your sigils
don't feel bad you didn't know about the saving party function I didn't know stronghold was even a sigil... i just didn't get it to drop and never heard of it
@@kekconnoisseur9809 i also hold down dpad down to buffer a revival potion whenever autorevive is on cooldown. have been able to afk all 3 nihila primals, pyet-a, and even proto bahamut as long as earth arcadia comes up. do not have the damage output to break more than one crystal barrier

Right now I'm just using it to make it spam dodge button followed by moving backward a little bit and hold guard for 10 seconds before looping to dodge again. I am now building Rosetta because I think she has a good potential to spam the roses in between the routines to maybe help shave some seconds 😂
If it's a big room and they're on the other side, there isn't much you can do. They move back and forth and slowly kill the boss, or the boss will come closer to one of the characters near =/
Man I wish T_T Unfortunately for now, it's still a manual farm only fight. I use my Damascus Ingots on the weapons that require it on the last stage to try to mitigate how often i have to farm him. Let me know if you figure anything out o/

Her XXY/Square Square Triangle/Left Click Left Click Right Click combo applies regen if she has a rose out. Her first 3 combo finishers apply Defense up, Regen, and Attack up respectively.
To be honest, I'm not sure for mastery specifically, but I'd guess it would be anything you can complete quickly, since apart from Slimepede, most of the mastery comes from the completion of the quest itself.
Nope! Definitely just a plus if you're using turbo/macro/binding something to have your MC act. This is just so you don't have to input any actions and you can alt tab or walk away for 10 missions worth of time
On the Versa fight? I wiped multiple times on that as well. Try saving your team's SBA's until that phase. Give everyone a Linked together and/or uplift so they can be stronger and build it. If you still can't seem to make it - my team couldn't build it in time when I was doing it - farm a bit in maniac until you get some sigils to get stronger!

I started by AFK farming Very Hard and Extreme and slowly got to the point where I could do it in prouds \o/ You can definitely do VH and Extreme for upgrade mats and fortitude crystals even before you finish the story
It was Rosetta, Eugun, and Zeta - although I recommend not using Rosetta because she struggles a bit with plant placement/leveling, and there's also a bug that makes them fall off the ship
You can try IO, Eugen cuz they're ranged characters so they will hit stuffs no matter what. I also use Zeta (without skills & with less is more sigils) so she always does the combo finishers -> more dmg. the only problem I noticed with close-ranged characters is they sometimes keep hitting the wall instead of the boss for example when the bahamut right hand is on the head of the ship. so I find IO, eugen, Rackam is also a good team
@@khaild7856 IO worst for AI use, its can't use quick charge and her normal charge way too slow. Its can't hit boss with this 90% of the time, so her damage output really low. Eugen not optimal for proto too, as he mostly use snipe mode for attacks, which is too slow. Beside AI don't use turrets and don't break orbs, so every dps check with multiple crystals just wipe them all and there is no way for such setup to deal enough damage to break crystals with shields from orbs. You need to use characters with huge burst skills, or wipe otherwise. Guts and autorevive can help too, but overall there is alot downsides. For range only Rackam work fine, but damage wise he don't best choise. Rosa not good either, as its hard to get good position for roots and its hard to level them up, beside its often don't enough time to land boss before their dissappear, so huge loss.
@Biomanable - I'm not sure about IO being slow but she's always been top DPS along with Zeta when I afk farming proud/proto, she just works for me. Im not gonna equip paralyze skill tho it fuck up the flinch time of proto - If you wanna make sure your bot can deal with shielded crystals just equip them skills with high Stun power + stun power sigils. of course mine all have fully awakened terminus & war elemental & some Supp 5

Normally she just walks out of it all the time, but since the ship is small and she can reach the target from almost anywhere, she tends to sit in it, which is really helpful for her raw charged Stargazes. I love this game but man, you get all the Terminus weapons maxed for the characters you want to play, or even all the characters. Which is nowhere near as hard as it sounds. And it's just... game is done. Did not foresee the giant wall that smacks you in the face at endgame and says "yeah, you're done dude. there ain't shit left to do" It was well worth the money. Very fun game for awhile. But it's a couple hundred hours (which is great) and then... DONE. You're done lol. There's nothing. I mean okay new lvl 200 dude.. will he drop new stuff that makes us OP? What do we use that on? Him? And what else? Two new characters soon... you build them and do what with them? Fight proto for damage cap+ sigils? Fight the robot, which takes 90 seconds as is now? It's too easy. Builds are all the same. Everybody's meta playstyle includes animation or skill canceling stuff that just doesn't feel good. There were a lot of great things about this game. Most notably the voiced EVERYTHING. Pretty damn awesome that the character's mouth's move when just doing a callout like "help me" or whatever. Lots to build on. Just no desire to even get back on the game atm... Sorry for the rant. I did play tf out of it. Just surprised not to see this opinion more often
why are people so braindead and echo the same wrong info till the end of time. stout heart has no hidden passive, its almost like litterally no1 read a single node in skill trees and just braindead lved thru them all. there are nodes littered in the defense tree that give defense while stout heart is active. so OBVIOUSLY u have more defence with the sigil, its not hidden nor should it be written as then it would be double dip adding defense and people would still just claim the same thing anyway.
Everyone and their 5 yrs old knows, youre not special. Everyone calls it hidden passive because every character has the same passive extras from their masteries, therefore stout heart gains a hidden passive all the time from just being equipped. Literally no one thought that it came out of nowhere.....man people trying to be rude to feel special should just chill.
There are 5 nodes that say you take 1% less damage while you have Stout Heart. Stout Heart itself grants 25% Damage Reduction, but does not explicit say so. Hence why it is a 'hidden' passive. There aren't nearly enough nodes on the tree to account for the level of mitigation that is happening as you suggest it does. And stout heart can actually stack with itself if the character can generate the buff. Which acts, just as expected, as another instance of 25% Damage Reduction. No need to be so rude regardless.
Stout heart also grans you a flat 25% damage reduction and there is another sigil that boost that defense even farther How is that echoing the same wrong info?
The other responses kind of cover it, but from my personal testing and based on the information of others that did as well, it seems that Stout Heart reduces around 24-25% damage. I did this by using a character that had basically 0 defensive masteries (one i recruited early and didn't level) and using the trait, but you can also just use a maxed character, check the damage diff, account for the about 5% in the defensive tree, and see what the difference is. For me, I found it easiest to test on Pyet-A since he always starts with the same attack. Tested just now on a character with full masteries, Pyet-A's opener does 65322 without Stout Heart and 45722 with it. If you account for some variance and remove the 5% DR from the defensive tree, I think it's plausible to say that the Stout Heart trait itself grants DR, even without other assisting traits like Steel Nerves, or the passives from the mastery tree.

i wish the a.i. would use their ultimate attacks at 100 % if you play afk instead of waiting till 5 % and then use it once. Would be all faster kills

You have to collect the pinchy crabs. Search Google for a relink crab guide, there are 45 total but I think you only need 41

Apparently the stout heart from the stout heart sigil does not activate the def buff from Steel Nerves

When rosetta uses her plant regen buff, it adds an additional source giving you another 5k

It was well worth the money. Very fun game for awhile. But it's a couple hundred hours (which is great) and then... DONE. You're done lol. There's nothing. I mean okay new lvl 200 dude.. will he drop new stuff that makes us OP? What do we use that on? Him? And what else? Two new characters soon... you build them and do what with them? Fight proto for damage cap+ sigils? Fight the robot, which takes 90 seconds as is now?
It's too easy. Builds are all the same. Everybody's meta playstyle includes animation or skill canceling stuff that just doesn't feel good. There were a lot of great things about this game. Most notably the voiced EVERYTHING. Pretty damn awesome that the character's mouth's move when just doing a callout like "help me" or whatever. Lots to build on. Just no desire to even get back on the game atm...

why are people so braindead and echo the same wrong info till the end of time. stout heart has no hidden passive, its almost like litterally no1 read a single node in skill trees and just braindead lved thru them all. there are nodes littered in the defense tree that give defense while stout heart is active. so OBVIOUSLY u have more defence with the sigil, its not hidden nor should it be written as then it would be double dip adding defense and people would still just claim the same thing anyway.
Everyone and their 5 yrs old knows, youre not special. Everyone calls it hidden passive because every character has the same passive extras from their masteries, therefore stout heart gains a hidden passive all the time from just being equipped. Literally no one thought that it came out of nowhere.....man people trying to be rude to feel special should just chill.
There are 5 nodes that say you take 1% less damage while you have Stout Heart. Stout Heart itself grants 25% Damage Reduction, but does not explicit say so. Hence why it is a 'hidden' passive. There aren't nearly enough nodes on the tree to account for the level of mitigation that is happening as you suggest it does. And stout heart can actually stack with itself if the character can generate the buff. Which acts, just as expected, as another instance of 25% Damage Reduction.

Stout heart also grans you a flat 25% damage reduction and there is another sigil that boost that defense even farther
How is that echoing the same wrong info?
The other responses kind of cover it, but from my personal testing and based on the information of others that did as well, it seems that Stout Heart reduces around 24-25% damage.
I did this by using a character that had basically 0 defensive masteries (one i recruited early and didn't level) and using the trait, but you can also just use a maxed character, check the damage diff, account for the about 5% in the defensive tree, and see what the difference is.
For me, I found it easiest to test on Pyet-A since he always starts with the same attack.
Tested just now on a character with full masteries, Pyet-A's opener does
65322 without Stout Heart and 45722 with it. If you account for some variance and remove the 5% DR from the defensive tree, I think it's plausible to say that the Stout Heart trait itself grants DR, even without other assisting traits like Steel Nerves, or the passives from the mastery tree.
