@codysimpson911 untrue, I went through all proud missions with AI and there were only 2 times I failed cause of them. otherwise they generally are unscathed. which characters you use matter I think. there was this one proud mission where Rosetta kept dying non stop for some strange reason (still beat it 1 shot)

She's okay, but if you're playing a character who already has a slow and you're bringing cagliostro with her sigil for def down, you basically already have everything she can do.
@@Claudekr the issue I've found is that AI Cag doesnt use collapse so its way less consistent than Ferry with her unique sigil. The issue with Ferry is that she will not go out of her way to heal you since her heal is point blank, she will drop it if you are in range...sometimes. So Cag is at least better in that regard.
I think most people don't care because def down doesn't do anything if you're hitting the damage cap, so it doesn't matter unless you build around having that by taking less raw dmg stats and then hope for RNG and the AI to keep it up

just found your channel today - you seem like a lovely person! so happy you broke your 20k mark, here's to 200k more! I'm still messing around with my AI companions but I find that my experiences have lined up with what you have here: Cag and the captain are *very* strong supports (tho captain falls off a bit since the AI doesn't manage the Arts system well or really at all). Ranged > Melee, as you said, is best for AI because they don't need to move for mechanics as much and they can dps from anywhere. Io is really slept on since you can slot her with a lot of aoe debuffs that give you more damage or some additional dps windows. Rackam is another great pick. I really enjoy having Vane be my tank but I absolutely never give him more than a Provoke V sigil and his hostility skill because the dude will pop rampart on the first auto attack from the boss and not have it up again the entire mission. Siegfried also is pretty hit or miss on his Salvator or DEF buff. Ranged with damage or healing with maybe a strong melee dps like or someone like Percival are fantastic options (if you're not already playing one of them). I really love, tho, that at the end of the day, with endgame sigils and maybe even their legendary unique sigils, any party of just about anything works pretty well even at Proud. Guts and Autorevive on everyone is never a bad secondary trait on a sigil. Algorithm!
Rosetta, Rackam, Cagliostro is the best AI group IMO. Rackam does constant damage as you mentioned. Rosetta is an AoE/Uptime beast, since her flowers can easily do damage when pretty much no one else can and she will always re-toss the out, think boss fights where they just stand in a bad zone with tons of CC going out. If you aren't vastly better built as the player character, she will likely take MVP most rounds. Cagliostro for obvious reasons, though out of the 3 I think she's the easiest to swap out, likely with a support Captain, but still all around solid. Can confirm, AI Vane is TERRIBLE with his bubble, pretty much always wastes it. Rakham is great consistent damage, gran for great support and healing and roselleta to fill in the middle gap, supports if gran is on cooldown and still deals good damage during the entire fight. New subscriber, I appreciate your content with GBF. I'll watch some other content from other creators too but I'm not a fan of how the information is presented at times. As far as AI, I agree that they do a good job, except in those missions where you have to throw stuff to S++. If they would do that, it would be nice to take off the "I have to do it all" for a perfect score and best loot type deal.
i don't really know what im doing yet in this game, but i do approach this game more like a single player RPG so i try to build 4 characters including my main a little bit earlier. it helps me massively and i just unlocked proud mode last night.
I've really enjoyed having at least one character on the team with a Hostility up skill to take adds off me during fights. Zane and/or Narmaya have been staples on my AI team.
Playing with friends is fun cause you can essentially assign someone to Dps/support or both when it comes to Randoms you play with tho alot of times everyone is DPS built lol so no support to help the team survive
just beat Bahamut vers and my team was Vaseraga Id Caglistrogo and Charlotto probly wrong name last one but i also been faming 4 days stright to get all my stuff to level 15 2 AI that i think sucks is ID and Percival most of the time they just stand there and i recommend change out Crit hits for maybe something more usefull like Regen or Stamina and actully Ai do use potions
Rosetta is S tier AI for sure. She often steals MVP from me. I'm actually really liking Charlotta as an AI DPS. Maybe not as consistent as a ranged AI, but she does work.
I am running Rackam with Eugen, the Captain and Zeta (for now) as my AI. I chose Zeta because she seemed to have more buffs, but I think I want someone with more dps in melee like Percival or Lancelot
The team I have been rocking is Katalina, Io and Rackam with myself controlling Narmaya. Having Io and Rackam means I've got 2 reliable ranged attackers, one of them capable of heavy AoE damage & CC (I don't actually equip Io's Healing Wind) Katalina is my only healer, but she is often more than enough to keep the team healthy and her AI is astonishingly competent at using her Heal and Invulnerability while Ares is active. I've also seen her pull off the most ridiculously clutch Glaciates like I mean stopping super attacls right before they would connect - honestly sometimes annoyingly so as I'll have my counterattack ready only for Kat to freeze the boss lol. It's definitely a smart investment to boost the AI's Stun damage along with sigils like Linked Together for more frequent Link Attacks and more damaging SBA chains.
This video is very helpful, I play on PS5 and ideally I'd like to make an offline team in case I can't get into matchmaking. I've found Rosetta to be very helpful so far with her utility, I'm thinking of making a melee like Id, Gran, or the scythe guy into a tank as well so I can play Rackham backline easier
Algorithm. Loving the videos but loving your energy more. I don’t just watch videos on youtube, I watch people talking, making videos, and the person talking matters as much as the video itself. Subscribed :)
I use Vane so my Ai has been Cag (dispel, att/def buff, att down, aoe res/heal) Gran (60% def, slow, aoe heal, dispel). then I’ve used percival for slow and his att/def buff as well. plus his damage output is nasty
Subbed! Thank you for this video, it was very helpful. I plan to play mostly solo, so having a decent AI team is necessary. Off to watch some of your other videos :)
Great Advice! I didnt believe in the ai all that much, but their survivability is insane. Maglielle&Gallanza Proud is pretty hard and getting the destrudo drop through the challenge is basically impossible with random players. But the AI companions only died once in my runs, so now i have an easy 4 minute way of getting destrudo drops for the last few weapon uncaps ive been missing (since the Id Maniac has far too much waiting for my taste)
What character did you play and who were your AI team members? I'm struggling so much with the Gallanza+Maglielle fight, maybe your team works better, pls tell me :D
I love your videos! really helpful and gives me something to think about while im at work. always excited to come home and apply your tips :) keep it up!
I gave Rackam and Rosetta to the AI as Rackam is useful for AFK farming and attacking flying enemies while AI Rosetta is just useful for her buffs and AoE damage, there's been mention that she plays even better than player-controlled Rosettas
I've been subbed since your Dissidia videos, keep up the good work i'm glad you found another game to fill the void since Dissidia's unfortunate news a little while ago. And also this games amazing :p
I'm still leveling my first team of 4 in the end game with vane, gran, Rosetta and zeta (my main). So far I found the slow skill on gran one of the best things when playing zeta, so I'm thinking of leveling more characters that does that. I'm thinking of ranged characters also because of the constant damage and afk farming...
From what I've heard the ai is more competent on some of the characters due to lots of factors . I am interested if this topic has been touched and if you have some experience in testing which one should I start testing with or if you found some. Talking with all of you not just the UA-cam creator.
I play Io and Charlotta. Mainly Io. So they're both staples in my party. Then I have the captain for pure utility (debuff / heals) and Narmaya because I wanted to play her at some point and I find her likeable. I could swap Narmaya for someone else that has more utility, but that would mean investing MSP and crafting material into someone else. Oh and I still want to play her once I get bored of nuking things or being a beyblade of death.
Cagliostro, Rackam, Ferry. you have those 3 = crazy survival, 2 healers, one range revive and that -def beff that's always on due to ferry sigil, full buffs by Cagliostro, that resets her skills very fast (ai do spam her mines). too bad AI don't know how to use her charge skill to keep the debuff going but Ferry got it covered. Rackam = DPS
I fought lucilius offline without too much down and beat him. The AI in this game actually will play better than a lot of online players if you got them set up right.
The AI party members always seem to be doing something which finally is a plus, used to them being absolute marshmellows. I love this game I even did a review of you would check it out for me
I play Percival and I setup my solo team to be Vane, Cag and a 4th.... not sure who my 4th will be but Katalina is one of my fan favourites... I heard Charlotta was very very meta, but you didn't mention her and I don't know her kit
I would reccomand Charlotta as AI partner because she can make full use of her 120% self-atk buff since she very rarely get hit and the AI seems to even be capable to use her parry making her extremely resillient while also dealing high damage. The stun type abilities are great, the AI most of the time use them to break bosses big attack animation. The healing of the AI also comes in clutch. I've learned to NOT heal myself. The AI does it for me. (Also because even if I heal myself. They'll heal me so it's a waste. ) I'm still testing if Vane is any good as an AI. :)
damn i wanted to try calestro as a compagion, realised that her sigil for def debuff dont proc despite the fact that she land the finnisher, work wellll when i control her tho
Hi! Is there a way for the AI with the elemental counter for the boss to use his/her TBA Bar for the superior elemental damage for the full burst? Thx! Very useful video!
I enjoy your videos. If you can say, what state are you located in (you don’t have to say which city), I think I saw you out and about but wasn’t exactly sure.
Mine love to go yolo and die all times they can and have to restart a lot of times, doesnt help me that i cannot craft other weapons to equip them because my game doesnt want to give me the blueprints to forge weapons idk if im missing something

The voss encounters in this game are kind of overwhelming imo! Don't wanna play it on story but the constant on scaresn attacks are wild just jumping and dodging and holding block the entire encounter feels a little bit unfun! I die every fight towards the end of the game. Does anyone know if you need to level your characters before the end of the story to beat it? Im aroind level 30 and under!
algorithm 😊 i wish you nothing but success you are very knowledgeable and seem to be predicting the videos I need just in time earlier today I just thought I needed a companions video 😊
What do you think about the paralyze characters like Io, Eugen, and Zeta? I thought about building up Zeta for the AI but idk if they will be able to do the jumps at all.
I agree with all your choices except for Gran, alot of Grans skills revolve around his Arts rank up. AI usually spam the skills off whenever possible from what I've seen. Now during story its fine but later in the game a stronger skill via Arts IV is better than just having it spammed. Otherwise great content been watching since DFFOO
Even without the arts level being high, removing buffs/debuffs while having effectivelyt two heals and a res is a crazy level of support for one character.
Guide is a bit too superficial. No talk about which characters are good as A.I. no mention of the "dodge gives atk buff and longer invincibility" sigil. Like bro.
When i see my ai companion i think "do i need to be a support? Since i died a lot" The ai actually good without defense stuff by dodging but their support drop is bad

As far as AI, I agree that they do a good job, except in those missions where you have to throw stuff to S++. If they would do that, it would be nice to take off the "I have to do it all" for a perfect score and best loot type deal.
I use The Dragonslayer Knights, maining sieg with vane, perci, and lance. It’s a blast killing dragons with this team
I'm planning on building this team as well ❤️
i don't really know what im doing yet in this game, but i do approach this game more like a single player RPG so i try to build 4 characters including my main a little bit earlier. it helps me massively and i just unlocked proud mode last night.
My personal go to team is me playing Siegfried since I've made him my main, then with Cagliostro, Percival and Katalina.
I've really enjoyed having at least one character on the team with a Hostility up skill to take adds off me during fights. Zane and/or Narmaya have been staples on my AI team.
Playing with friends is fun cause you can essentially assign someone to Dps/support or both when it comes to Randoms you play with tho alot of times everyone is DPS built lol so no support to help the team survive
just beat Bahamut vers and my team was Vaseraga Id Caglistrogo and Charlotto probly wrong name last one but i also been faming 4 days stright to get all my stuff to level 15
2 AI that i think sucks is ID and Percival most of the time they just stand there and i recommend change out Crit hits for maybe something more usefull like Regen or Stamina and actully Ai do use potions
Having Io and Rackam means I've got 2 reliable ranged attackers, one of them capable of heavy AoE damage & CC (I don't actually equip Io's Healing Wind)
Katalina is my only healer, but she is often more than enough to keep the team healthy and her AI is astonishingly competent at using her Heal and Invulnerability while Ares is active.
I'm still at Chapter 6 but Cagliostro, Rackam, and Percival have been incredible AI companions!
Interesting things to think about, thanks!
Algorithm. Loving the videos but loving your energy more. I don’t just watch videos on youtube, I watch people talking, making videos, and the person talking matters as much as the video itself. Subscribed :)
Respect for not Showing Spoilers 😂
I use Vane so my Ai has been Cag (dispel, att/def buff, att down, aoe res/heal) Gran (60% def, slow, aoe heal, dispel). then I’ve used percival for slow and his att/def buff as well. plus his damage output is nasty
Subbed! Thank you for this video, it was very helpful. I plan to play mostly solo, so having a decent AI team is necessary. Off to watch some of your other videos :)
I wish more games had useful teammates like these guys
If you have I've missed it but what are your skills set on Rackam for the afk farms?
Eugen with that laser melts all bosses
I gave Rackam and Rosetta to the AI as Rackam is useful for AFK farming and attacking flying enemies while AI Rosetta is just useful for her buffs and AoE damage, there's been mention that she plays even better than player-controlled Rosettas
I've been subbed since your Dissidia videos, keep up the good work i'm glad you found another game to fill the void since Dissidia's unfortunate news a little while ago. And also this games amazing :p
Ive been maining A.I all the way to proud mode its hella fun
with matchmaking so bad i really needed this
I'm still leveling my first team of 4 in the end game with vane, gran, Rosetta and zeta (my main).
Thank you! I am going to be playing the game entirely solo because i like my JRPGs Solo. Will keep this video in mind once i finish the Storyline.
Thanks for the video!
Grats on the 20k 👏
Thank you! 🙌 xx
The AI party members always seem to be doing something which finally is a plus, used to them being absolute marshmellows. I love this game I even did a review of you would check it out for me
you can just use drain on toons that cant heal themselves. working so far (up to pyet-a. don't have proto yet)
Congratulations on 20k followers!
Thank you so much! X
I play Percival and I setup my solo team to be Vane, Cag and a 4th.... not sure who my 4th will be but Katalina is one of my fan favourites...
I heard Charlotta was very very meta, but you didn't mention her and I don't know her kit
thanks for the vid GZ on breaking trough 20k!
They'll heal me so it's a waste. )
I'm still testing if Vane is any good as an AI. :)
What is the point of the PWR Stat? It doesn't seem to correspond to how good a character build is at all.
Hail bravo and thank you for your content. Amazingly proper.
damn i wanted to try calestro as a compagion, realised that her sigil for def debuff dont proc despite the fact that she land the finnisher, work wellll when i control her tho
Hi! Is there a way for the AI with the elemental counter for the boss to use his/her TBA Bar for the superior elemental damage for the full burst? Thx! Very useful video!
thank you for this video =) I am only playing alone, so this is helpful
I enjoy your videos. If you can say, what state are you located in (you don’t have to say which city), I think I saw you out and about but wasn’t exactly sure.
Io was a best during campaign. Ended up like 4 levels ahead of my Vane
the g in cog's name is silent btw. i dont speak italian, and neither do the japanese, but the japanese think the g is silent
Mine love to go yolo and die all times they can and have to restart a lot of times, doesnt help me that i cannot craft other weapons to equip them because my game doesnt want to give me the blueprints to forge weapons idk if im missing something
Bro can u do some video about yodarhu ?like build guide or playstyle something ... Soo far i feel yodarhu is most underrated character in this game .....
how about highest DPS AI?
this was helpful thanks
IO + 3 tanks trivialises everything!
It is somewhat weird hearing AI Percival telling me "I'm coming to you, just try and survive." when I go under critical cond. I am trying Percival. Hahaha
ID does insane dps as Ai sometimes on shorter fights out dps’s me
The voss encounters in this game are kind of overwhelming imo! Don't wanna play it on story but the constant on scaresn attacks are wild just jumping and dodging and holding block the entire encounter feels a little bit unfun! I die every fight towards the end of the game. Does anyone know if you need to level your characters before the end of the story to beat it? Im aroind level 30 and under!
algorithm 😊 i wish you nothing but success you are very knowledgeable and seem to be predicting the videos I need just in time
earlier today I just thought I needed a companions video 😊
Vasraga is hilarious as an AI helper lol
i currently have my party farming 15k power dragons on proud while im afk xD 50 tickets per kill and they even get s++ x_x (they are 21k to 17k power)
How to afk farm on proud tho? So your main char just standing there?
What do you think about the paralyze characters like Io, Eugen, and Zeta? I thought about building up Zeta for the AI but idk if they will be able to do the jumps at all.
As a person who built up Zeta, her AI is actually really great. She does also combo not as well as a human, but she can. She's my stun sub dps partner
@@SurgeX25 alright I think I will build her up then. Lol I will have built up all water and fire characters then and almost no others.
Cagli, rackem, ferry. Resetta. For ai so far.
I may have misspelled the names.
full assist mode ai isnt same as ai ai. caglio will never use charged attacks as ai but will in assist mode
Guide is a bit too superficial. No talk about which characters are good as A.I. no mention of the "dodge gives atk buff and longer invincibility" sigil. Like bro.
When i see my ai companion i think "do i need to be a support? Since i died a lot"
The ai actually good without defense stuff by dodging but their support drop is bad
