  • On this video I walk through the VMC GP-12, its features, comparisons to the Ohvale GP2 dimensions wise and pricing wise.
    If you dont watch the video, heres the gist of it:
    features
    45mm forks are non adjustable
    12 inch wheels and tires
    non floating rotors
    Jjuan 4 piston radial brakes mounted to standard mount fork with 15mm axle
    Zongshen 190cc motor e start + kick start 5 speed
    (option for Daytona 5 speed is available)
    DNM fully adjustable rear shock
    fully adjustable rearsets 55mm bolt spacing fits Ohvale
    Sizing is very similar to GP2:
    Measurements for comparison
    Saddle height 700mm vs 725mm for Ohvale
    73KG vs 71 KG for Ohvale
    Overall length is 1650 vs 1610mm for Ohvale
    Shock uses DNM adjustable shock which I think is the same
    Things to watch for on the ZS190:
    Starter chain
    valve adjustments
    Cam decompressor
    This motor is popular among mini enthusiasts.
    Pros: budget friendly, good performance, motors used are common for mini enthusiasts
    Cons: No local distributors to quickly replace OEM parts so sourcing parts may be challenging until then.
    I cant link videos yet on youtube as this is my first time making content so look for "Jinhua Racing" on Alibaba for more info. The seller contact "Freya" is super helpful and will answer any questions.
    As far as experience on Alibaba, I had a really GOOD experience with the seller answering all my questions even on text and Alibaba keeping track of my shipment. There is a time where it gets to port and goes through customs clearance where noone knows status until it clears (maybe 1 or 2 weeks) but once it does you will hear from the freight fwding company who will then confirm you address and deliver the crate to your door.

    I’ve just bought 2 Daytonas with floating brake and ajustable fork for training. Keep up with the good videos, your experience would be of great value for us.

    Sick I didn't know they had a ohvale gp2 clones there tons of parts for this. There also lots of mods. I own a zs 190cc and I actually bought a Daytona engine out of a ohvale gp bike off a UA-camr from the LA area that ride the track and races the bikes. I also don't live to far away from a local track for mini gp bikes. I definitely will be looking in to this bike. Thanks to bad there isn't a way to get it street legal with CA plates 😁🛠️💯👍✌️🍻🏍️

    Hey brother, open the seat and tank and Re mount the wires. You will get more slack for the positive and negative wire. I did that but for got to mention. 3m glue for the seat foam as well.

    I just wanted to let you no don't use the kick start at all in less you have to and check or add the shift star mod. The reason I was able to buy the Dayton engine out of the gp ohvale is because the guy didn't have the shift star mod or electric start Wich are need if not it can cause the transmission to fail either the in put shaft or out put shaft will end up snapping on the engine just like the Dayton engine I bought off a UA-camr. I rebuilt the Dayton engine and used newer thicker shafts that there now selling and put the shift star mod. I only use the electric start Wich is also recommended to by ooracing. Just a fyi buddy 😉💯🛠️🏍️🍻✌️

      Thanks for this advice! Ive heard that too....im assuming that my newer motor should have the shift star mod but Id have to pull off the clutch to really know so thats on the to do list. I wonder if Ohvale ships the Daytona motors with all the fixes or do they have the same problems as everyone else?

    • @josephsaucedo8691
      @josephsaucedo8691 11 місяців тому +1

      @@Freddi922 they have the same problems because they just put the engine in the bike they only build the bike it self the engine factory would have to make the changes that kinda of part off the company problem. Ooracing sell the complete engine with all the upgrades there the only company that offer it that I know of and IV done quite a bit of research more than most people even on the forms that I'm on. They say the factory doing the upgrades to the engine on the new models the shafts and shift star mod but IV heard some people say that even some of the newest models aren't coming with the up grades kinda why I recommend checking for your self just in case never hert's 👍🏍️🍻💯✌️

    Nice review. What's the max rider weight capacity? Wanted to pick one up for practice but wondered if it would work for me at 6' and 210lbs.

    • @Freddi922
      @Freddi922  9 місяців тому +1

      I'd say im about 180-185 lbs with gear and the bike handled great. It does have adjustable shocks and you can get it with adjustable forks upon request, that said. I think it may need higher spring rates for anything over 200ish but that can be solved aftermarket. I have a friend who is heavier than you who just bought one of these and were going to figure that all out by working with companies who have made kits for the Ohvale GP2 as the suspension is very similar. The adjustable fork is 38mm stanchion by 660mm overall - we will try Mupo suspension springs and the rear is a DNM Hornet shock and I believe they do make different spring rates so we can go direct with them.

      @@Freddi922 cool thanks. Can I just grease up chain, add 10W40, gas, add battery and just ride? or is it necessary to open the engine and adjust the valves???? I thought this machine would be ready to go after added the fluids?

    • @Freddi922
      @Freddi922  9 місяців тому +1

      @travelocationfilms3020 id say you could do all the above but from my experience its advisable to check valves as they come tight. its pretty easy though, theres videos out there that I can link you to, that will help.

    Did you ever find the reversal rear caliper bracket. Im trying to locate one myself to swap the location.

      @Freddi922  Місяць тому

      They actually make one on their new Motard bike that looks like it should fit but they are not selling it yet? I havent asked in a while though, some people made their own by mirroring a new bracket but seems like a ton of work. Id rather buy the motard bracket, I would ask Freya.

    It's not worth buying the Dayton in my opinion from factory. Any plans on upgrades and track parts I know of quite a few if you want I can give you my e. Mail and we could talk about the most price efficiency way to do it. wouldn't dought you can make it just as good if not better than a original gp2 bike. I have also taken apart and rebuilt the 190cc engines and helped other on UA-cam with there 190 engine..💯🛠️👍✌️🏍️🍻

      @@Freddi922 there is a 70 percent stronger decomp.spring for the 190cc that offered. You might want to check if it already has the shift star mod done to it . If not it's easy to do. You can also got a upgraded d.i.d starter chain for it . And ohvale has a gp shift pattern conversation . the guy I bought the Dayton engine off of had a bad ass set up on his gp with lots of upgrade parts. He also custom make and sells crash perfecter track parts 💯👍✌️🛠️🏍️🍻
