Astounded by your ability to explain the bike so coherently by going balls to the wall on the track. Thought it looked fast then you said “let’s pick up the pace...” 😮
We had great fun on them at a demo day on a local kart track.....until we saw the price! $6000 to $13000 CDN. For a little bike with a no-name engine. You can get a really nice full size track bike for that price. I would have had just as much fun on a $3000 Grom that I can also ride on the street.
Where have you guys been? These are awesome and have been around for a minute. 160 is way less maintenance though. Not the same power to weight as a Superbike, but for practice, it’s the ‘budget’ way to go. Love the vid, and as always ZC is the man
I have seen these at my local kart track... as they pass me. At 6'3" I opted for a KTM RC390 which my local track allows. Due to the wheel base, My line is a bit different than the Ohvale but its till a ton of fun. If you are seriously interested in something like this at a kart track and are taller like myself, check with your local track you might be able to do something like a little ninja or KTM RC which I feel translates much better to the big track than my supermoto does.
The ohvales really are the perfect training tool. On small tracks I've found that the 190 is almost too much... the 160 looks to be the sweet spot. At least for most of the kart tracks here in Texas. I saw that there is something new in the works from ohvale. Do yall have any insight on what it is??

This is why i bought a CBR125R track bike for racing go-cart tracks. its so much fun :-) mine could do with a bit more power at 13 Hp. but it only weighs 97 kg though :-)
These bikes are awesome. I’d have one if a track was local. The Grom, as much as I love it, should have similar weight and horsepower numbers. Hopefully Ohvale makes a street legal version preferably a naked bike.
@@EliasTheHunter loved it, it was an awesome way to practice technique at the kart track and apply it to my big bike (KTM RC8C); I stupidly sold it and got a KTM 450 SMR which is *amazing* but tbh I should've just kept the GP2.
