Always Ducati first. The spirit and the brand. The winning and over all feel of their bikes. Anyone that actually own and ride multiple brands, Ducati just feels more precise and solid. Not too much, not too less. Easy to maneuver and controlled all the time. Consistent and rigid. That V2B is a keeper. One of the best looking well balanced design. Even the graphics are so nice and well placed.
Big fan of your videos and now subscirbed! The r1m is my dream bike and you have the best videos on it. Do you have any recommendations for a beginner bike for a first time rider? Thanks!
Mai Chen...I do...a Yamaha R7 or a Kawasaki ZX-6R is what I would recommend as a FIRST TIME Bike to buy. You'll grow into it both of them. And they're great entry priced rides.
I have a 16 gsxr750 and a 18 cbr1000rr. I am going to buy a 16 R1M today. Can I buy aftermarket parts for the R1M with just R1 stuff or does it need to be R1M specific? Like an exhaust, for example. Does the R1M not have a steering dampender? Thanks for the help.
Great reviews mate. One question, do you spin your bikes on the kickstand? In this country space is tiny and I can't imagine owning a bike that can't be spun. I've read people saying they spin their r1's but the kick stand looks like an aluminium pencil lol. Any thoughts?
Personally I dont do that. And I probably never would. It's not that hard to back into a space to get the same effect, Just my 2 cents. Thanks so much for the support.
@@CK_RIDES thnks...pls do a ownership review of it and how it's different and exclusive from other liter class bike...in india it not avaliable😭....really like the bike and luv to watch it one ur channel♥️🔥..luv from India bro♥️

I am 6.5ft i have tried the cbr1000rrr but it's too small for me I am concerned about zx10r or the s1000rr which one will fit me. Sir i am eagerly waiting for your reply. Love your videos sir❤️
I’ve had both bikes myself. You’re absolutely correct about them being different. I will say that I love both of them. However, I don’t think it’s a really good comparison. Other than being pretty close to the same displacement that’s all they have in common. Ducati being a two cylinder and the Yamaha obviously being the four-cylinder. With that said it’s not so much about the cylinders like you said how they put the power down. The Ducati actually is rated at 155hp and the Yamaha is rated at 200. Anyway, for 25k you can get a v4 Duc that has 209 hp and 89 pounds of torque vs 83 and both weight about 414lb no fuel. As you mentioned. Again, I’ve had both and stuck with the Duc. Of course it’s about the personal preference. History of Ducati in racing is on it’s own the story. They were laughing at Ducati in the beginning because of the desmo and v2. Who’s laughing Now!!! Either way a tough choice.
I don’t know man I’ve been watching your videos lately cause I love your collection but you ever thought about actually riding these bikes and pushing them a bit? Even a track day?
@@CK_RIDES 125 is a cruising speed for these machines man and yes I’ve checked your videos anyone can push these bikes at that speed “in a straight line” I’m just wondering if “cruising” is the only experience you have with them?

I think you confused him even more.. haha. But these bike are both worth every peny and worth of a space in the garage. V2 and the R1M, can't go wrong with either.
Both nice bikes , you can’t go wrong with either one, yes R1 is faster, but V2 is lighter, option 2 , just buy both bikes 😂, and how much power does a humans need, V2 after all mods will set the bike around 170- 175 hp at the crank, not slow
@@CK_RIDES I have bayliss too, this bike cost me already 30k$, couple mods left to do on the bike, what I like about V2 , it is so light and narrow, 2023 is the last year they will produce Bayliss, mime is #565
If you go for a top Ducati, the is only two : V4 Superleggera or the V4R 2023. I had an R1 but this week my V4R 2023 is delivered. I loved the R1 but if you want the best superbike…Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki have lost the race for now. They just can’t beat the performance of the V4’s. This is not to say the R1M isn’t a beautiful fast bike, it’s just not the leading bike anymore.
You don't have the riding skills to exploit the difference between the 2 R1 vs V4🤷♂️ *99% of riders don't. Honestly motorcycle ownership comes down to preference and brand loyalty.
Yes, most people don’t have experience that high enough to make the bike preform at high level, if Yamaha releases a 400hp bike , people will start talking like the Yamaha 400hp bike is the best 🤦🏻♂️ , where is the logic, the best bike is the bike that you can control better and handle it at the pic performance, what about rider weight, big rider maybe more comfortable on the bigger bikes, lighter rider that is comfortable with a V2 can do lots damage 👌 and you need hell of a experience lighter rider on R1.
100%, Yamaha is always slow in evolution but I am sure they will bring out a new design soon enough. Ever since Ducati got VW money behind them they are kind of ruling the bike world. I was never a Duc fan and would not have owned one as recent as even 5-8 years ago. Today's Ducs are pretty unbeatable with a price tag to go with them. I am too old for sport bikes but I do have a Pikes Peak and a Desert X, both are superb. Yamaha is my fave of the Japanese brands by a long shot and the R1M is a sweet looking steed, in fact I owned an MT10 for a few years and it was excellent. I just wish Yamaha would up the quality of their tech and physical refinement.....there is no bike that compares in reliability so that combined with top notch quality would be hard to beat.....I would pay a higher price for an R1M with Ducati quality.
If you don't want to take the Ducati to the dealership every 7500 miles to adjust the Desmodromic Valves, stick to the Yamaha. I was facing the same decision back in 2001 and the Desmodromic Valves turned me off.
@@CK_RIDES If one is considering between the 2 bikes, I just want to call out the total-cost-owner ship differences between Ducati and Yamaha, which some folks are not aware of. Of course, if money is no object, get the one you which makes you "feel" better.
Apples and oranges. Based on price point yes, performance no. The r1 is the pinnacle of performance. For ducati the v4r is the best. So at least match it up to a v4s. Two different power levels.
Both great bikes but hopefully you can have an apples to apples comparison in the future with the Panigale V4R. They are very different bikes in the vid. I would take the Duc for the street and the R1M for the track. I prefer torque on the street which is why I own a Super Duke Evo.
