    This model Ducati rolled up to Alice's last weekend and it's a beauty! Thanks for the straightforward in-depth review.

    For an additional $4k you get Ohlins front forks, rear suspension and steering damper, embroided seat, cool paintwork and lithium ion battery. I think it's pretty good value!

    133 hp at the wheel? That is _pathetic_ . I need something with proper power for my morning 2 km commute in the center of Athens.

      Buddy, 133 HP at the wheel was pretty much fantastic about 15 years ago. Don’t forget, this is made for people who DON’T want the V4. I hear you, I love big power myself, I had a Hayabusa, a ZX 14R, etc. But I’m kind of done with those bikes now, so something along the lines of this power is exactly what I like at my, ahem, older age.

      @@user-hx8fn2he9q what i wrote is a joke i repeat in every video about motorbikes with ridiculous power. As if one needs above 100 hp _outside_ racing... The joke being all the people who bitch and moan about this year's literbike not having 200+ hp

      Ah, yes, I think I read your original comment too quickly. And agreed, really any motorcycle with over 130 hp at the rear wheel is going to be a ripper. It’s funny to read how people are complaining that the new US triumph triple 1200s ONLY have 150 rear wheel HP. 😄

      @@user-hx8fn2he9q Yeah! that is what I am talking about... 150 hp at the rear? 🙄 pffft What good is that bike? I mean come on! I need POWER for my MORNING COMMUTE. And how will I show those STUPID "CAGERS" that I am FASTER than them on the STRAIGHT in order to PROVE that I am BETTER than them, If I do not have like 220 hp? huh?? You didn't think of that, did you??

    • @funcool32

      I'm was a little disappointed with 133 at the rear wheel, but still ordered one because I love the bike and tribute to Troy Bayliss. My 2003 999s had around 130 when I put it on a dyno many years ago, but engine was 998cc. So for a 955cc bike, I'm happy overall with 133hp.

    • @Atlan_tis
      @Atlan_tis 2 роки тому +1

      Yes, only 133whp, just add full exhaust and filter and tune it, it will put you to 147 to 150 whp, remember the new R1 is 150 to 155whp stock, but V2 is lighter, V2 is a really capable bike after you get all the parts installed from Ducati, yes I know, it is expensive, v2 is more then you going to need

      @@MJT-DA depends what fails, I have 2 years warranty for now, if you properly maintain it, you should not have a major problems with the bike, we live in 2022, manufacturers trying to build better parts

    • @MJT-DA
      @MJT-DA 2 роки тому +1

      @@Atlan_tis I don’t think the issue is mainly with Ducati its were they source their parts from. Like for bmw the s1000rr is reliable because its built in house in Germany but the bmw 310r is sourced from India. Same with ktms 390 series vs their larger 1290 ones. My neighbour had a multistrada which was reliable but the air cooled v2 the one across from my street had was always dropping valves. I feel like exotic manufacturers forget about their lower cc bikes. Which is why I won’t trust this one.
