Every outtake I'm saying "That's me. That's me in my shop!" It takes real humility to make an episode like this and I salute you. Gets my vote for best wood shop video of the year.
Haha this was hilarious! What I spend most of my time doing in the garage: 10% Working on the car 10% Building a project 80% LOOKING FOR THAT TOOL I HAD IN MY HAND 5 FREAKIN SECONDS AGO
I absolutely love your dry humor. The best part about seeing you screw up is that you make me feel better about myself, cuz I screw up as much as you do. Thanks for sharing your humanity with the rest of us. I award you the badge of “Normal.”
Humility is a rare virtue these days. GOD bless you sir. I remember when my youngest was 4 or 5 - I would go to the garage to mechanic on a truck, car, motorcycle, snowmobile, lawnmower or some other mechanical beast purposely designed by an "engineer" to be near impossible to work on - and my son would yell out "Mom, get the band aids!"
One of the main reasons I enjoy watching your videos so much is because you are so relatable! As always Drew, your stuff is priceless. Thanks again for sharing!!
LOL. My fave part of most of your vids is the statement of where you got the material. Just glad to see a fellow woodworker getting it done and having fun the whole while.
Thanks Drew. With all the woodworking videos out there that make it look so easy it can be a discouraging when I am screwing up on my projects. Watching your videos and the cool stuff you make and then at the end there are bloopers makes me feel that I can still make cool stuff and make mistakes. Thanks again!
Definitely a laugh out loud video. I really enjoy your sense of humor. I showed this to my wife and she says you're a real life Tim the Tool Man! I promise to show her more of your videos to prove that in fact, you are an excellent woodworker!
Discovered your channel lately. Going through all of your videos. The best proof that woodworking doesn't have to be boring. Not only I learn a lot from you, but I can't stop laughing. You my friend have a gift. yes you do.
So glad I clicked on your cnc table build...I love your videos and the narration style. My favorite outtake wasn't from this video, but there was something similar. When you drop something and say "where did that go?" or "well that's gone forever...." We can all relate to that situation and it cracks me up!!!
Man, when you said in your dust collection video that you "borrowed a scale from your neighbours Meth lab", I was just dying here! Your sense of humour is one of the best parts of your videos. Pretty good at building stuff too lol
I rarely “laugh out loud” when I’m watching something by myself, but this was simply awesome! Good, clean, humor that anyone and everyone can relate to!
All your outtakes are great, but I really enjoy your sense of humor comments sprinkled throughout your videos. I recall one gem about you borrowing some felt from the middle of your neighbor's pool table to use on the bottom of your bandsaw boxes. Terrific.
Hilarious!! Thanks for making the rest of us realize it is okay to laugh at ourselves and not to take life so serious. I am a hobbyist at best but sometimes too hard on myself for the daily mistakes I make while in the shop. ALWAYS look forward to your videos!! Love how you involve your son in the shop.
GREAT VIDEO - .....mail them to various countries - LOVED IT. THANK YOU for the laughs. Most of the laughs come from me doing the SAME THINGS OR WORSE. :)
I hit the "thumbs up" button before I hit play, because I already knew what this was. My favorite part of all of your videos is the outtakes at the end. Thanks for your hard work.
Hey Drew, love the videos, I'm a big fan of everything you do and have purchased (but have yet to construct) the plans for your Flip Top Cart. It is by far the best design on UA-cam. Anyway, my favorite is the slotted screw montage. And the "...verbally abusive message that could make a grown man cry" wonderful! Keep em coming! Take care, Pete
I am in tears here because I can very well relate. The last one with the wood falling on you. Yup can def relate to that one. That was priceless. Glad you were not injured making these out takes ;) Just remember "Oh crap" works in many situations.
I was happy to watch your BLOOPER video. It's nice to know I'm not the only idiot that has done the same things. For all of my years in the shop I thought I was the only one that every one of these incidents had happened to me. Thanks for the laughs.
It’s really refreshing to come across a channel that isn’t vulgar and truly “pg”. Most diy channels are good about this but even still, you have clean humor and it actually makes me laugh. Keep it up!
Any outtake is good knowing that someone else has done the same thing as you. The times I have called myself a dumb ass or walked into my workbench with such joy and happiness, great times great vidio
I think every woodworker should make a clip like this because it shows to the beginner that mistakes is a big part of woodworking, and no project are perfect!
Awesome . It's good to watch the quality things you make and helps to see that no matter how good you are at something no one is immune to stuff ups, oopsies and oh crap moments. Attaching leg upside down I do stuff like that a lot lol through a lack of concentration . Keep up the good work.
Ah man, That was one of the funniest videos I've seen in a long time! Loved the part about the neighbours bike being disassembled and mailed to different countries!!
Great job Drew. I love your outtakes. My favorite was when you blew into the bandsaw box and was rewarded with a face full of dust. OMG, I'm sure we can all relate to that one! Not to wish you bad luck but keep them coming. :)
Thanks for sharing. I don't feel so bad when I mess up. Made me laugh......love when you spend time with your son. My kids are too young still. 2 and 4 this month.
I especially enjoyed your son "hammering". Reminded me of my dad (master carpenter with his own business). He got of bunch of wood from a building that was demolished. He pulled the nails and my job was straightening them. This was in 1956 (I was 6 yrs old).
I love that your kid (8:39) immediately start thinking about living in the woods. He is basically saying that it's inevitable that he is going to climb your creation! 🤣🤣🤣👍
😁😄😆😂🤣 The random “Dirtbag” killed me. My go to is generally “Way to go genius!” Honestly I don’t know how you (and others) do this. I couldn’t without a parental advisory warning. As my sister likes to say, I’ve made an art form out foul language. So cheers to you for your restraint. And thank you for the laughs. ❤️
I love your “shop helpers” my son often comes into the shop and even occasionally works on something (usually also practicing his hammering) and my service dog obviously is always with me. As far as your getting hurt making us smile, I think it’s more the fact that it makes us feel better about the times we do the same things to know that someone of your skill level does the same stupid things as us. Keep up the great job and stay safe.
I love the French cleat project. Also, Oh Crap is ok...What is a Babel Saw? Don't you love Flat Head screws...Golf Pro...look out....I love the master hammerer technique... Excellent video and process. Thanks for sharing the good, the bad, and the funny.
Im so glad that Im not the only one who has similar issues in the shop! My saving grace is mine aren't on video, yet! Greatly enjoyed watching you overcome these difficulties!
I loved this video. Puts the human face on working that hundreds of UA-cam content makers edit out to make their performance look artificially perfect. So glad you shared this content. I'm looking forward to more reality working along side well made woodwork projects. LOL imagine if you discovered that the French Cleats needed longer screws after hanging some valuables on them. Great video.
Thank you for this, I have spent the last few days fighting with the finish for a table that I have spent the last month designing and building. I needed a laugh.
I just love the willingness to show miss-haps! That is often what shop talk is all about! The worst one for my self was finding out after making 12 doors for a cabinet build that every door was an inch two small! I had for got to add an inch to the door opening!🤑 lesson learned! Great videos, love that you show it all! Thanks again Allan
Is it bad that I remember the episode for every single outtake in this video? The stuff you make is GREAT and this sir, is no exception. Keep up the good work!
I never thought I would watch a 13-minute video of wood shop bloopers... But here I am watching and laughing so hard I just woke my wife up. Bravo, sir! What a fun video - I love your skills and your sense of humor. 👍🏼
I swear I can remember just about every one of the outtakes, laughed when I first saw them, still laughing, you're true gold Drew, love every part of all your video's. Cheers from Aus!!!!
So due to popular demand, the "Aww crap!" Fisher's Shop T-shirt is now available! You can find it here: tinyurl.com/fsact
Can't wait until it's yes available XD just kidding, we love you Drew
Oops!
“A little bit of pee just came out” hahaha!! This entire video cracked me up! I was sweating from laughing so hard lol
CHARLIE BROWN WITH POWER TOOLS....😆😆😆😆
Yes!!!!
Love that wood-shop definition t-shirt!
Every outtake I'm saying "That's me. That's me in my shop!" It takes real humility to make an episode like this and I salute you.
Gets my vote for best wood shop video of the year.
OMG, "a little bit of pee came out". I'm still dying.
I'm not dying
I'm dead
Haha this was hilarious!
What I spend most of my time doing in the garage:
10% Working on the car
10% Building a project
80% LOOKING FOR THAT TOOL I HAD IN MY HAND 5 FREAKIN SECONDS AGO
So true
IKR?!?!
I feel you
HAHA sounds like me also. WHERE DID I PUT THAT DAMN TOOL. AH
Hello my brother from another mother! 🤣🤣🤣
Has anyone ever told you that you have the perfect voice to do voice overs? Really no joke it's incredible.
I could hear him doing infomercials and documentaries for sure
I absolutely love your dry humor. The best part about seeing you screw up is that you make me feel better about myself, cuz I screw up as much as you do. Thanks for sharing your humanity with the rest of us. I award you the badge of “Normal.”
About 3 minutes in and I was in tears from laughing. Too funny. You do great work to boot.
Glad you enjoyed it
I loved all of them but especially how you managed to keep it family friendly.
Glad you liked'em, thanks! And yes... keeping it clean is important to me.
I feel like this video makes a lot of us feel better about our own mistakes in the shop. It's always nice to know you're not alone
Best wood shop creator on the planet. Some one give this man a show.
I just love that I’m not the only one that calls myself an idiot/moron during projects hahaha
We all do. Some in silence some crying out loud... but we all do
Haha yeah you're not the only one.
I usually season my self loathing with a healthy dollop of profanity.
IKR!!!!
Humility is a rare virtue these days. GOD bless you sir. JB Marker Now THAT’s hilarious!
Who told!
A little levity in the shop is good for the soul. Love all your videos. Thanks for sharing your craft with us.
Those were all winners in my book. Thanks for being able to laugh at yourself and share the chuckles with all of us.
One of the main reasons I enjoy watching your videos so much is because you are so relatable! As always Drew, your stuff is priceless. Thanks again for sharing!!
Thanks Drew for showing us what we all look like. You just have the ability's to prove it to us.
I feel so much better about myself after watching this. Saved me hundreds of hours of therapy. THANKS!
LOL. My fave part of most of your vids is the statement of where you got the material. Just glad to see a fellow woodworker getting it done and having fun the whole while.
Thanks Drew. With all the woodworking videos out there that make it look so easy it can be a discouraging when I am screwing up on my projects. Just so you know, I come back to this video like once a month to rewatch it, I don't know why your pain brings me joy but I won't apologize for it
With your video you prove that you are a light being with a lot of humor that shares the simple things of life.......congratulations and go on ¡¡¡¡¡
Definitely a laugh out loud video. I really enjoy your sense of humor. I showed this to my wife and she says you're a real life Tim the Tool Man! I promise to show her more of your videos to prove that in fact, you are an excellent woodworker!
Discovered your channel lately. Going through all of your videos.

Welcome aboard! And thanks!

When you drop something and say "where did that go?" or "well that's gone forever...." We can all relate to that situation and it cracks me up!!!
Oh my goodness! I should NEVER watch your videos while trying to rock the baby to sleep. Thanks for sharing your human side. 💜
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love it, showing you are as human as the rest of us..thank you.
All your outtakes are great, but I really enjoy your sense of humor comments sprinkled throughout your videos. I recall one gem about you borrowing some felt from the middle of your neighbor's pool table to use on the bottom of your bandsaw boxes. Terrific.
Brilliant, just awesome. I wish the other online woodworkers would do this. Thank you.
The putting scene - INCREDIBLE! The next Tiger Woods.
This is my favorite video yet. I love seeing that I’m not the only one who has these issues.
I love the outtakes, so many channels only show the good parts and it makes me feel bad. Thanks for being a real person.
Thanks for being a regular dude woodworker. I laughed my butt off. Happy to know it happens to others too.
MOAR OUTTAKES! You’re a great teacher and always entertaining, thanks for all that you do Drew.
My favorite is all of the above. You're a hilarious guy, cool little boy, and not a bad carpenter. Thanks for the laughs
GREAT VIDEO - .....mail them to various countries - LOVED IT. THANK YOU for the laughs. Most of the laughs come from me doing the SAME THINGS OR WORSE. :)
Glad you enjoyed it
I hit the "thumbs up" button before I hit play, because I already knew what this was. My favorite part of all of your videos is the outtakes at the end.
Thanks for your hard work.
I was having a not so happy day. I watched this and laughed all the way through it. Thanks, I needed that!
Take care,
Pete
This is my favorite woodworking channel.
the outtakes when you were out of frame and you just hear or see something fall, got me the most! Laughed my butt off!
“Oh crap” shirt would be cool!
I would buy one!
@@johantyllstrom1986 I would buy one as well
Needs to have the poop emoji on it,too!
I still have to say the blowing dust in your face gives me my loudest laugh!
I'd buy one!
Thanks, just got home from the hospital, been sick for a week and saw your outtakes. 1st smiles in a week
I am in tears here because I can very well relate. The last one with the wood falling on you. Yup can def relate to that one.
That was priceless. Glad you were not injured making these out takes ;) Just remember "Oh crap" works in many situations.
and something "a little stronger" when the camera is not on.
Very funny ....and human! Love it when we see real life. Your boy is adorable.
You remind me of myself in the shop. Talking to myself saying why why why and yelling at myself. Lol plus blowing dust in my face!! Priceless!
Keep it up!
Glad you like them!
Love it :-) bopped my head bending down yesterday to pick up some wood, slapstick stuff ha ha
Drew you are a legend, right up there with my favorite tool guy "Tim 'The Tool Man' Taylor".
Keep it up I'll keep watching
Any outtake is good knowing that someone else has done the same thing as you. The times I have called myself a dumb ass or walked into my workbench with such joy and happiness, great times great vidio
Babel Saw: a tool that can make say “Oh Crap!” in any language.
Thanks for the bloopers. The sneeze was the best! Please more videos like this one!
Hilarious
I think every woodworker should make a clip like this because it shows to the beginner that mistakes is a big part of woodworking, and no project are perfect!
Laughed out loud throughout the entire video - I can so relate. Thanks Mr Fisher!
Awesome . It's good to watch the quality things you make and helps to see that no matter how good you are at something no one is immune to stuff ups, oopsies and oh crap moments.
Attaching leg upside down I do stuff like that a lot lol through a lack of concentration . Keep up the good work.
2:19 when you glued your finger to the triangle and sneezed in your dust mask - epic
Ah man, That was one of the funniest videos I've seen in a long time! Loved the part about the neighbours bike being disassembled and mailed to different countries!!
My wife just started woodworking. She just loves your video, thank you for all the cool ideas.
You're very welcome. Thanks
Great job Drew. I love your outtakes. My favorite was when you blew into the bandsaw box and was rewarded with a face full of dust. OMG, I'm sure we can all relate to that one! Not to wish you bad luck but keep them coming. :)
I want to thank you for helping me realize that I'm not the only one that makes mistakes in the shop! Cheers!
Thanks for sharing. I don't feel so bad when I mess up. Made me laugh......love when you spend time with your son. My kids are too young still. 2 and 4 this month.
i have to say blowing the saw dust in the face is my fave only because i have done that way to many times id like to admit thanks for the chuckle
I’m in tears, sorry for laughing when you get hurt, but it’s a natural response.
priceless footage, especially the one putt by the kid! thanks for the laughs
Love the way I learn something new with a little bit of humor at the same time
Loved it, my 5 year old son loves watching your videos and he loves the out takes at the end.
It is comforting to know that I'm not alone talking to myself. Cool video, I laughed the whole way through!
Hehe... sometimes I just say "swear word!!".
"A little pee just came out..." LOL Priceless!
This made my day a little better. Now we need a "Tell All" video about your neighbor.
Great stuff! It’s always good to be able to make fun of yourself. Thanks for sharing!!
I love the French cleat project. Also, Oh Crap is ok...What is a Babel Saw? Don't you love Flat Head screws...Golf Pro...look out....I love the master hammerer technique...
Excellent video and process. Thanks for sharing the good, the bad, and the funny.
Laughed till I cried. "A little pee came out.". Classic!
😂😂 Thank you for this 13 minutes 24 seconds of laughter. Not easy UA-camr's life!
At 1:57 I saw it coming and I still laughed out loud in my kitchen watching and remembering many similar irritating experiences! Cheers,
Holy crapski, Love this vid! Thank you for sharing what most of us think never happen to “other folks”
I love the fact that I recognise pretty much all of the outtakes. Love your work!
Thanks, David!
Blowinng the dust in your own face.. classic! Glad I'm not the only one!
Drew this was classic as well as real life - glad you have the desire to share with everyone that these things happen to us all even the great ones🤠
Thank you for this, I have spent the last few days fighting with the finish for a table that I have spent the last month designing and building. I needed a laugh.
Well, I don't feel so bad when I mess up in my own workshop now. Brilliant video. Laughed from start to finish.
I just love the willingness to show miss-haps! That is often what shop talk is all about! The worst one for my self was finding out after making 12 doors for a cabinet build that every door was an inch two small! I had for got to add an inch to the door opening!🤑 lesson learned! Ouch!
Is it bad that I remember the episode for every single outtake in this video? The stuff you make is GREAT and this sir, is no exception. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for sharing, the difference between the watching woodworkers and you is only the camera. I know my ‘craps’ happen pretty regularly.
Drew, you make great videos and your out-takes are priceless. Thx for both!
Just fabulous!!! You gotta do more videos like this,LOVED IT❤️❤️❤️
Man, some of those outtakes of you calling yourself and idiot and a moron could have been recorded in my shop! Great video, thanks for the laughs.
I love when the sander turns on, your reaction was priceless. Definitely laughed hardest at that one.
Great video, Drew~! The sneezing in the dust mask was great~! Been there, done that...
