Drew, You have a wonderful self deprecating sense of humor. My wife and I love these UA-cam videos, especially your outtakes. I have always been curious about your garage. I think to myself how nice and informative it would be for you to build a vertical plywood type saw like they have at the big box stores. You could place it in the garage, cut lumber stock down making it easier to get into you basement shop. I'm sure your neighbor ( love that reference) has all the lumber you'd need. Just a thought. Thank you for your skills and humor. Your one of the few channels that inform, entertain and challenge us to be better Carpenters and don't add alot of useless chatter and music god only who likes. Thanks Drew.
Just gotta say I came across your Channel and I absolutely love your humour were cut from the same cloth. Hilarious comments in all these videos I’m watching useful information also.
The outtakes remind me a lot of when I’m working in my woodshop except that I don’t have the nice tools or the good lighting or the hair. On second thought it’s nothing like me working in my shop.
Such a great video. I can only imagine how must time you invest in designing, building, filming, and editing these high quality productions for us. I really appreciate all the time you take Drew. -Nick 😃👍
I haven't commented on a video in the 10 years I've been on UA-cam, but this deserves an applause 👏 👏 👏 . What an absolutely genius idea! I'm planning this as my project of the day, thanks for the idea! Keep up the great work!
Very cool build drew. Your way smarter than you look. I especially like the way you supported the beam without the help of your three legged coffee table possessing neighbor.
Hola! 🖐Bravo! 👏This is absolutely awesome, the video is on par with the project too. I can see how this will assist you in your One Man Shop. Take care and have a good one, Adios! 👊
Great video again Drew! I must say though, the commentary is the best. Thanks for injecting the great humor in all of your videos, and thanks for sharing. Felix
Great addition to your shop . . . Mine too! Love the humor mixed in with actual information pertinent to what you’re doing. Just noticed that you are a LEFTY! Keep producing these top quality videos and I’ll do my part by watching them. Sounds like a Win / Win situation to me. Now I must head over to your website and make a few purchases. Dorald
You have earned a new subscriber. I have watched every video. I appreciate your projects, videos, commentary. Instructions, and sense of humor. Thank you and keep up the great work.
I wanna make one for over my fabrication table, something to hold, drill, screws, glue bottle and stuff like that during assembly time!! Good stuff Drew!!
Hello, from Chihuahua Mexico, is the first time I have the opportunity to see your videos and you are funny and amazing, keep up with the good work and you have one more subscriber, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Brilliant!! I've got a lower shop ceiling (in a 140-year-old house!) which makes stationary lighting a bit tougher, but a minor mod or two, and that gets fixed with one or two of these little gems!! Thanks for a great idea...and design! :-)
What a great idea that appears to have many potential uses. I think I might try an adaption of the arm to hold a crown guard over the table saw. Thanks for posting.
I wanna come up with something clever to say but I haven’t been watching long enough. Binge watching doesn’t always help but I’ll be here whenever you need me. Always watching. 👍
This a great ideia. Love how you bring everything together and how you're sharing your plans with the community. And the cherry on the cake are the outages at the end. I love those. Gonna put one of these together to set up my camera. Thanks a million!
Great Work!! I really enjoy watching your videos for many reasons really. You seem to have a great grip on the editing process and making them short but extremely informative. You have a fun and entertaining sense of humor. and you come up with some very interesting and off the wall ideas that could also be very useful! I think I am going to add this to my looong list of projects I would like to do. Just wanted to let you know that I think you're doing an excellent job and to keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing your talents.
@@FishersShop Not a problem! I do a lot of projects and end up with a lot of fun creations but don't ever record any of my work and would like to start getting into it a bit. Are there any cameras or anything that you would recommend on the filming/editing side of things?
@@barrettbryan8905 I'm afraid not because I'm actually behind the curve on that front as well. I'm now using a DSLR camera to record and Sony Vegas to edit. However, I can see myself upgrading my camera to one that has more options and also switching to Adobe Premier. But if it helps, you don't need much to start out. I actually started using my phone to record and Windows Movie Maker to edit.
@@FishersShop Well thank you for letting me know. I'm thinking I'll attempt to look into some different options just for getting started a bit and see how it goes. I have recorded a few projects on my Iphone and to the point of where my "memory is full" lol. Which is part of the reason why I am interested in looking for something a bit more capable. I guess I just want to make sure something I am going to put on here will be decent enough for someone to want to watch lol.
Drew, you should come visit. You'd feel right at home here. Carrying wood into your basement looks like it is just as hard as it is for my shop. I had to move the fridge once when trying to bring in something particularly large. Nice gantry, and I'm jealous of how high your basement ceilings are.
Love your presentation in your videos. You are very funny and entertaining. Content is great. Keep up the good work, I look forward to more. Thx for sharing,
Not gonna lie, I knew going into this video this project has a zero percent chance of me doing in my shop, I typically come here just for the entertainment. Keep up the videos.
I'm know wood craftsman like you a small corner of the garage some hand down tools from my dad and pap and I just here recently got into wood crafts got started because I saw on you tube the wooden flags and thought they were awesome so been playing around with other ideas and I liked your video on them but any who enough on me but would like to say thanks you bring a bright side to the craft and I enjoy your work and videos always great work on what ever project your doing and diffently a good laugh at the end you could do standup 🤣. Outstanding. That's gotta be one of your brightest ideas yet...
ding, ding,, we have a winner!

Oh well done good sir... well done indeed.

Dude!!! You forgot to add a cupholder!!!
Great build!
Love the bloopers. Very nice work. First time I have ever seen anyone do that for a light.

Thanks Nick! It's comments like this that keep me going!
How are you not starring on every woodshop tv show as a host ? You have the skills and especially the voice !
The camera dolly function is a major plus.
I like the lighting idea and your sense of humor, Great video of step by step assembly.
Another winner, Drew. Thanks for the laughs. Even though you tied it up BEWARE things have a way of "attacking" when you least expect it.
Thanks, Steve!
This is a great idea. Using it with the camera was a great idea as well.
I felt every second of that wrenches outtake right in my soul.
That was one of the coolest shop upgrades I have seen!
Thanks! :)

I made a similar thing without the trolley, but out of steel. I love the idea of using stationary casters for your trolley, brilliant!
Thanks, Josh!

Great build, Drew. You struck a nerve with me when you mentioned looking for the tool you just had in your hand.

Thanks for the laughs and the inspiration!

Woo Hoo, New Drew, Who Knew?...very inventive for home use. if the pivots start to loosen, you can glue on some sandpaper discs as friction pads.
Missed seeing your little buddy come to help you.
Can I just say you are freaking hilarious? Oh and I learn stuff too. Thanks for doing these.
Thanks! :)
You should name it Wicket, as it hangs around the shop and lights up your life!
Enjoy that helical head upgrade. I did mine last fall and love it. It's way quieter and will probably be appreciated by everyone in your home.
Oh man I’m super jealous. The camera aspect of this has got to be liberating. I guess I’ll have to go make one myself, nice Drew!
