Yup. As much as i respect his contemporaries, he's the one who speak the most to me. It's just pity that i was interested more on the british indie scene during the grunge time that i never really enjoy their music when i was younger.
No he is the best rock and roll front man in rock and roll history. And Pearl jam is hands down the greatest rock and roll band of all. Pearl jam can blow away the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin 7 times a week and twice on Sunday.

I saw them perform a long time ago and I remember being so excited as I loved them. Seeing Pearl Jam was an experience. Watching Eddie sitting on the stage with his guitar and a glass of wine was what seemed like an intimate feeling. Almost like you knew him personally and were just completely wrapped up in everything he was doing, saying and singing. There were thousands of people there but at times it felt like it was just just you and him. You’d get lost in watching and listening to him. An amazing show, that I’ll never forget!
Waitin', watchin' the clock It's four o'clock, it's got to stop Tell him, "Take no more" She practices her speech As he opens the door, she rolls over Pretends to sleep as he looks her over She lies and says she's in love with him Can't find a better man She dreams in color, she dreams in red Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Oh Talkin' to herself There's no one else who needs to know She tells herself, oh Memories back when she was bold and strong And waiting for the world to come along Swears she knew it, now she swears he's gone She lies and says she's in love with him Can't find a better man She dreams in color, she dreams in red Can't find a better man She lies and says she still loves him Can't find a better man She dreams in color, she dreams in red Can't find a better man Can't find a better man Can't find a better man She loved him, yeah She don't want to leave this way She feeds him, yeah That's why she'll be back again Can't find a better man (can't find a better man) Can't find a better man (can't find a better man) Can't find a better man (can't find a better man) Can't find a better man
As a 29 year old woman, I went from singing "can't find the butter man" @ 3 years old, and crying thinking about the times I've lied to myself and said I'm in love with him, I can't find a better man. Great band, perfect song.
Before I die, I must meet Eddie in person. I have seen him many times in concerts but never in person. I grew up with his music. I lived in Seattle. I worked at Arnies north shore and met Chris Cornell and soundgarden during one of their meetings. I remember the rumor of Pearl Jam playing at a local small bar but I wasn’t old enough to get in. Maybe it will happen.
Pearl Jam changed my life. This will sound cliche but they did. I got in to Pearl Jam really late but that was right when I was goin through a rough patch and Betterman really helped me get through it :)
I watched Singles again the other night. 1992. So many crazy world events were swirling at that time and PJ were radiating their success from 10 to an insurmountable wave of musical frenzy. Smart man that Cameron Crowe to book Jeff, Stone, and Eddie in the flick. It is such fun to look back at Pearl Jam's inception and subsequent prolific evolution to a 3 decade legacy. What exceptionally gifted gentlemen they are to sustain in this business and to consistently keep their fan flock together over several generations. Vitalogy has aged quite well. So have you, sons of Seattle.
It makes me teary eyes every time I watch this.. damn, years passes by quickly. I'm glad that Pearl Jam remained healthy and active till this day.. and the downside, makes me feel old too, hahaha!
before i die i want to hug him. this band and his voice has been in my life for yeeaaarrrsss. im 35 now and will be 36 in a couple months. i need to put his out in the universe to try to make it happen.

Long Live Eddie!!!
Long Live Pearl Jam!!!
@ 4:10, His passion of the lyric...when he said “She needs him....That’s why she’ll be back again.” .......incredible...
Timeless classic.... still sounds as good as it did when it first came out... a once in a generation band
Eddie Vedder the best male voice ever period! Nothing Nothing beats him/Pearl Jam in the 90’s, his voice, his face, their MTV unplugged.....nothing. We are all getting older............
@Teresa Moscat Stop reminding me.....lol
Thank you Teresa for your love and support. How long have you been listening to my songs?
Watched the MTV Unplugged earlier today. Decades later he still sounds amazing!
I still heart Pearl Jam, after all these years.
the best band of the last 30 years
Indeed the Hands of Time tear down a man's flesh and all that he builds with his hands,...but sometimes, what a man creates from his mind, heart and soul , those same Hands of Time BUILD and PRESERVE as LEGEND. -PW
Thank you Eddie. Your music; Countless lives touched, endless meaningful moments created, infinite positivity woven through this little piece of fabric in time we share.
I miss this, I miss life before C.
I'm on a PJ binge watch, wishing Eddie is doing good ♡ we need him for many years to come.
After Robert Plant, Eddie Vedder is my favorite singer. He may be one of the most powerful voices in rock history
Yup. As much as i respect his contemporaries, he's the one who speak the most to me. It's just pity that i was interested more on the british indie scene during the grunge time that i never really enjoy their music when i was younger.
G . i . t . M .
Along with Layen stayley and couple others, Eddie is one of my favourite
No he is the best rock and roll front man in rock and roll history. And Pearl jam is hands down the greatest rock and roll band of all. Pearl jam can blow away the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin 7 times a week and twice on Sunday.
@@tommysteinike8728 never liked em
Eddy sure the fuck looks better than Plant!
This is the best version of Better Man I've seen. They were hyped up!
I love this guys , all of them , thru all these years , all those wonderful songs .. and u can see it , they have this strenght ,this passion ... that has only one name : PEARL JAM
I'm so proud to have the chance of... no words can express what I want to say perhaps a big thank, you Pearl Jam
I'm 39 now, I've been listening to this band since I was 11 and my older brother turned me onto them after watching Even Flow air on Much Music in Canada when they used to play music! Good memories! Thanks PJ! Long live rock n roll!
My son who is in his 40s loves them little did he know his mom also was a huge fan no generation gap lol
He can still sing better than any other rock singer on the planet. There has never been a better vocalist in my opinion!!!
Lee Guest Axl Rose....
BRUH, are you joking? This dude is on a whole other level than Axl Rose.
justjac123 Axl was great but today...
Mike Patton is someone who can beat Vedder on this, he's so versatile and fearless, but I still think Vedder has the most unique voice of all, for sure.
While I'm not one to make any such definitive statement, Vedder has this timbre, this passion in his voice which tugs at the heart.
I've heard and seen this song a million times....this is def the best version ever :)
I think you're right, but the audience singing it at Madison Square Garden is right up there with this.
This was a great night for a great band ❤️my little sigh is the fact that when this was happening, Chris Cornell was still alive , how more whole the world felt 🌒😞 #keeprockineddie #loveyou
Sherlain Madrid - Feeling this comment.
I still cry thinking of CHRIS.
@@chippullin Me too
I remember the first time I heard Pearl Jam, I mean the exact location and time, I was taken and smitten at first listen. I wore that cassette tape out I loved them so much.
I bought the CD, and if it could be done, I would have worn that out! I used to listen to Ten on repeat all day at work.
You can just see him get lost in the music when he starts singing. Like he goes back to his young self
Seen them twice here in the UK, can't wait to see them again ,brilliant!
Amazing, incredible...about time they've been inducted! One of the greatest bands ever.
You can never be wrong with this band... they're not getting old. Especially Eddie's voice is still intact.
Omg! We all grow old... we can’t stop time but we can remember the times when we were young and enjoyed this bad ass song!!
This song makes me cry. Every time
Something about the way Eddie has always held his microphone is so damned sexy to me.
Everything about the man is so damned sexy to me.
Watch Michael Stipe from REM in the 80's you will find one of Eddie's biggest inspiration on this mic matter haha
When the crowds start singing 🙌🏻❤️
great to see his ol' tele make it back to the stage. By the way it's crazy how Ed can keep time with thousands of people singing misplaced lyrics and also while talking. he's a fucking pro. and still has a crazily perfect voice. cheers to him and the band
LeonardMcrendall click track in his ear monitor
briantoddyahoo i guess that would create a even bigger mess
He's also a damn good guitar player. Mcready says ed can do stuff that he can't even do on the guitar. No 0ne talks about it. Great songwriter, singer, instrumentalist ( harmonica, ukelele, guitar...). And a damn awesome human being!
@@trumpjonguno6994 I think Mike is being generous there, but I don't think there is anything Mike motherfuckin McCready can't play , nice name by the way
I saw them perform a long time ago and I remember being so excited as I loved them.
Waitin', watchin' the clock
It's four o'clock, it's got to stop
Tell him, "Take no more"
She practices her speech
As he opens the door, she rolls over
Pretends to sleep as he looks her over
She lies and says she's in love with him
Can't find a better man
She dreams in color, she dreams in red
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Oh
Talkin' to herself
There's no one else who needs to know
She tells herself, oh
Memories back when she was bold and strong
And waiting for the world to come along
Swears she knew it, now she swears he's gone
She lies and says she's in love with him
Can't find a better man
She dreams in color, she dreams in red
Can't find a better man
She lies and says she still loves him
Can't find a better man
She dreams in color, she dreams in red
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
She loved him, yeah
She don't want to leave this way
She feeds him, yeah
That's why she'll be back again
Can't find a better man (can't find a better man)
Can't find a better man (can't find a better man)
Can't find a better man (can't find a better man)
Can't find a better man
Eddie totally still has it! He sounds great!! Instrumentals are tight too!
Boooooooooom!!! 👍😁 Seen this iconic band 26 times! Just getting warmed up!!
Eddie could sing the Hokey Pokey and I would cry like a baby.
I could listen to that intro guitar for centuries in a row and never get tired of it
As a 29 year old woman, I went from singing "can't find the butter man" @ 3 years old, and crying thinking about the times I've lied to myself and said I'm in love with him, I can't find a better man. Great band, perfect song.
Have you found the butter man yet?
Before I die, I must meet Eddie in person. I have seen him many times in concerts but never in person. I grew up with his music. I lived in Seattle. I worked at Arnies north shore and met Chris Cornell and soundgarden during one of their meetings. I remember the rumor of Pearl Jam playing at a local small bar but I wasn’t old enough to get in. Maybe it will happen.
I would want to meet him because we were both born in Evanston Illinois.
Pure class , and introducing Boom.....Thanks Eddie. Perfection period!
Boom Gaspar is in Eddie's words"Hawaiian manna'.The most amazing keyboardist since the late great "Ray Manzarek".
I don't understand. Why again, is the Big Mana not in the Hall?
Pearl Jam changed my life. This will sound cliche but they did. I got in to Pearl Jam really late but that was right when I was goin through a rough patch and Betterman really helped me get through it :)
I'm 61 and have always liked Pearl Jam!
Ed is fukin amazing.
To those of you who say ‘we’re getting old’ with these guys in the hall of fame - that is an honor. So many friends have not it to today.
It makes me teary eyes every time I watch this.. damn, years passes by quickly. I'm glad that Pearl Jam remained healthy and active till this day.. and the downside, makes me feel old too, hahaha!
One of the few bands that probably sounds better in a live performance than a recording.
Eddie is a true artist. Every time he performs a song of his the interpretation of it is how he feels it right there right then.
I just love him.
Eddie Vedder is a class act! Well done, Eddie!
before i die i want to hug him. this band and his voice has been in my life for yeeaaarrrsss. im 35 now and will be 36 in a couple months. i need to put his out in the universe to try to make it happen.
I want to do the same with Sting--He and The Police were my voice in the 80's, my way to live through his solos from 1986-Present. @Meli Havoc
As if Eddie could dig deeper into my heart than before- his references to Bruce Springsteen and the E-street band show his reverence and respect for that other group of artists who can make me feel this much.
I could seriously listen to every Pearl Jam song all day and never get tired of it. Best band.
Forever brother... you know me from the Sit and Spin in Seattle from '91. Carried me me thru PTSD from the SeAl's. thank you. Watched you when you and Chris, Kurt and Teen weren't popular...and then I'm so proud of you! Hunger Strike and breaking thru my man! you did it.
